36 Negotiations

Ryu rubbed his neck, groaning "So difficult… Really why am I such a nice person…" as he walked out of the Hyuga compound, Hiashi's mouth twitching with annoyance.

Ryu turned around and looked at Hinata, Neji, and Hanabi, smiling "Alright, don't forget to come and see my bright and early tomorrow, okay?" Hiashi clenched his fists and let out a breath, muttering "Bastard…"

Ryu looked at him saying "Hm?" Hiashi exploded at his smug smirk and shouted "Bastard! My kids aren't your kids! Damn you!" Ryu burst out laughing and dodged Hiashi, running away as his laughter echoed in the air, "Don't forget, little disciples~"

Within a week

The Ninja school was reopened with a brand new style. History was spread and the Will of Fire wasn't a class or a code, just something to ignite the hearts of the children. Many children were excited to go back as they had many more things to learn!

Yeah right…

But there were a lot more things to learn!

The class divisions were separated by 4 years to Genin, 4 years to Special Genin, and 3 years after that to Chunin.

Since children can enroll in Ninja school at the age of 6, they could become Chunin by 17 which was relatively normal.

But the Chunin course was taught by Jonin specifically and the School itself had multiple full term courses that were specialized after graduating to become a Genin.

The 4 Years of Special Genin courses were divided into all sorts of areas from Taijutsu to Medical Ninja and everything in between!

They were taught by Chunin and Jonin depending on which course you took.

Also, every child was required to choose a breathing method and learn 2 of the 6 powers to become a Genin and 4 of the 6 to become a Chunin.

Jonin also had to be familiar with all 6 to become a Jonin.

Ryu sent out Jonin and a newly trained Anbu along with the Anbu that decided to abandon the Third Hokage, to scour the Village for spies and traitors. He put the Yamanaka clan in charge of getting the motives to find out if any of the techniques were going out of the village.

This was also a reason why the Breathing Methods and 6 powers were a class on their own and not handed to the children.

Ryu also established an Orphanage for the Orphans and put in a decent amount of resources and money, also accepting donations.

But most of the money came from the destroyed clans from Orochimaru's attack.

Ryu propagandized that this was the atonement for the sins of the previous generation, etc…

At the end of the eventful week, the Sand Village finally arrived at Konoha with the intention of paying compensation.

Chiyo, Temari, Kankuro, and Gaara came with a few more Elders figures and Jonin for protection.

Several Anbu and Jonin watched them, purposely revealing themselves and staring at the group like hawks.

Ryu came to see them, inviting them to the Hokage's office.

Chiyo and the others followed him and finally sat down in his office.

Ryu picked a Dango off the plate and threw it into his mouth, saying "So, old hag, wanna start a war again?" Chiyo choked on her words, looking at Ryu incredulously.

This guy didn't play by the script!

She said "No…" Ryu nodded and said "Good! To be honest, your village is struggling to even survive right now, can't imagine you would be so idiotically moronic to start a war. That being said, they sent you to negotiate. I can't even imagine what they were thinking! How old are you? You sure you aren't developing dementia? Maybe you'll sign the entire village away!"

Chiyo froze and growled coldly "Watch your mouth junior! When I-" Ryu rolled his eyes and cut her off, "When you were in the Ninja world, I wasn't even born yet, right? How predictable! Anyway…"

He slammed the table and glared at Chiyo like a vicious beast, "Let me explain the situation to you, old hag. These aren't negotiations. If you want your leading Jonin back and don't want Konoha to turn your village into a mirage, you will agree to my requirements. Understand?"

Chiyo's face turned red with rage as Ryu stood up, leaning forward and sneering "This is no room for negotiation. There's no Easter Bunny, and there is no such thing as peace! The Sand Village will pay Konoha 250 Million in Damages, you will hand over your resurrection technique, your poison jutsu, and you will sign an armistice agreement for the next 20 years."

Chiyo paled "What?!" Ryu grinned evilly, "What? What do you mean 'what'? You think I'm that old garbage, Hiruzen? Sorry, I don't cherish old friends like you. In addition, if you break the Armistice agreement, forget about compensation. I will destroy your village directly. Not even the sand worms hiding in the ground will be safe! Do you get it?!"

Chiyo grit her teeth and glared at Ryu, who leaned forward and stretched out his neck, saying "Come on, make a move. I can't wait. Hopefully you kill me or else your village will be kissed by the wind and disappear!"

He pointed at his neck and said, "My main blood vessel is right here, come on. One good shot is all you need!"

The Konoha and Sand Ninja were dumbfounded and started sweating profusely.

Temari, Kankuro, and Gaara were stunned and afraid.

Who wouldn't be afraid of this madman?!

He doesn't even care about himself!

Chiyo clenched her fists, really wishing she could silence this scourge permanently but…

In the end she really didn't take a gamble…

The Sand Village just couldn't afford it.

Although it's a blood loss, it's better than annihilation, right?

The reports say that Ryu has achieved Mangekyou Sharingan! That Sharingan can control Tailed Beasts, destroying the Sand Village will be easier than making toast!

She grit her teeth and felt 10 years older as she said weakly but full of anger and helplessness, "I agree."

Ryu sighed and said "A pity. 4 is my lucky number." Chiyo burst into a cold sweat and Ryu sat back down, saying "Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro will remain in Konoha until you bring the compensation. If you don't return within a week, I will kill them. Now get out of my village, you're making it smell like old people."

Chiyo paled and shouted "That wasn't part of the agreement!"

Ryu sneered, "I just added it! Do you have something to say?!" Chiyo clenched her fist, trembling "Don't b-" Ryu waved, "Don't bully the weak and old, yeah yeah, get the hell out of here. Damn hag, talking my fucking ear off. Who cares about your old age, don't die on the way back, I won't pay for funeral expenses."

He waved and added, "Take her back to the village and get my demands or your precious Jinchuuriki will be buried in Konoha." the Jonin glared at him and took the trembling Chiyo away.

Ryu rested his chin on his wrist, looking at the three Sand babies and chuckling as he threw a Dango in his mouth.

Temari, Kankuro, and Gaara trembled inexplicably.
