10 Evan Rochester [III]

He saw her jumping at the sofa and took the opportunity to run with all his might to the stairs. Having successfully done so, he went running to his room, but behind him, his 'mother' was chasing him like a mad dog with rabies.

His heart was beating faster and faster, he felt adrenaline running through his body; he had to run faster, but who was the poor boy to surpass the speed of the body of an experienced hunter in his thirties.

While he was running, his mind kept thinking about his brothers. With terror gripping his heart, Andres felt that death was getting closer and closer. He didn't want to die, but he knew he wouldn't make it.

"Damn." While he cursed the moment, he managed to get to a certain point, but what happened he did not expect...

Before passing through the door of his parents' room, Andres felt alarms again, his instinct sensed danger, but being inexperienced how could he identify that the danger ahead was worse than the one behind.

He felt that there was no more movement behind him, so he turned around, and out of the corner of his eye, he noticed that his 'mother' was no longer following him, and he did not realize to what extent she was not following him. At that moment he breathed a sigh of relief and stopped. When he reached the door to his parent's room, he stopped and turned his back to the door. There were still two more doors to go before he reached his room.

Stopping to catch his breath was not a bad idea for him. But he couldn't have been more wrong.

The door of the room that was closed opened with an impact, jumping with fright, for having lowered his guard at the moment he rested, he turned and saw that the one who opened the door abruptly was his father.

Seeing him, Andres felt relief, "Sigh, Father you are home, Mother... she... she... is no longer her..." he said as he struggled to stop the tears from falling. Finding his safe place with his father, he did not notice the aura of his father was giving off.

He approached and entered the room; it wasn't when he was a few steps away from his father that he realized something wasn't right and by the time he figured it out it was too late.

His 'father' lifted him by the neck with only one hand, and Andres could see how the moonlight illuminated the face of what was his 'father'.

Despair, fear, invaded his heart, he wanted to fight but at some point, his body could not move, he's petrified, but not from fear, what was his 'father' did something, he touched one of his movement acupoints. Allowing him to get a good look at his 'father'.

This one had red eyes, his teeth, no longer normal teeth, he had two fangs protruding from his mouth. "Vampire!" he cried out with alarm in his heart because his vocal cords could not make any sound, being held by the neck by his 'father'.

Resigned to his fate of dying, he looked directly into his 'father's eyes and with his gaze asked sadly "Why? How?" and it would seem like the vampire could understand that look, to which he received a smirk in response.

"You do not know how euphoric it feels to kill. 'That entity' was right, it is more pleasurable to kill humans because they are weaker than to kill supernatural beings." He chuckled with satisfaction and with ecstasies in his face and voice.

The pain that Andres felt in his heart at that precise moment was too much, so much that he felt that his internal organs began to bleed. Seeing the desperation and pain that his prey felt, the vampire simply gave him a satisfied smirk, and released him, causing him to fall to the ground with a thud.

Unprepared for the sudden loss of the grasp in his neck, Andres fell to his knees in front of the man who was once his father and now a turned vampire.

Not knowing what he's supposed to do, he just lowered his head, and saw his body, unknowingly he was already trembling, fear invading his heart.

Calming his emotions, for a couple of seconds, he took a deep breath, lifted his head to look at what was once his father, armed with a bit of courage he asked in a hoarse voice from the vampire's grip on him, "What did you do to my mother?"

To which all he received was a malevolent laugh, enjoying the moment the vampire just looked at him with amusement in his eyes and replied playfully, "Hmm, her? Well, she was just an experiment that 'that creature' had, which she told me to try on my family, and she was the first, you'll be the second, we'll see how it works with someone weaker and weaker." Being generous with his explanation he continued speaking, "In just an hour she stopped struggling with what I administered to her and became like that, I had her kill the butler, see? He's at your right side..."

When he heard the first part, shivers ran down his back, and when he heard the last thing, he turned his gaze to his right, said and done, there were the remains of what was the butler Luck. But he was in pieces.

"He-he saw it? I transformed her with the substance of death, and I put the butler next to her, she had a spatula that she couldn't let go and with it, she dismembered him, interesting isn't it?"

He didn't notice but, tears were running from his eyes, and he sobbed.

"Oh, baby boy, what's wrong? I bet you'll be like her too, but the time you'll need to transform will be less." says the vampire with delight.

It could be said that, when he was human, he had the same character when he was torturing his prey, the only difference is that right now his prey is a human and not a supernatural being.
