20 Liu Wen Qiang's Memories

Xie Ying Pei and the other quickly ran over to Nian Zhe Village. Wu Zhou's eyes widens in shock. Jia Yi covers her mouth and takes a step back, her mind refused to accept what she sees. The village was burned down, there were corpses lying on the ground, and blood covered almost the entire ground. Da Xia covered her mouth and nose, she couldn't stand the metallic smell of blood. Jia Yi began running around, searching for Xiao Jian. "Ma..." Ying Pei slowly looked everywhere for his mother.

Wu Zhou's blood began fuming, he clenched his fists in a ball so hard his nails dug into his skin. As Jia Yi ran around, she stepped on something. She carefully removes her foot to see what it was: Xiao Jian's half burnt shoe. Hearing Jia Yi scream, "Xiao Jian!!!" they all ran over to where she was. Ying Pei knelt down to pick up the shoe, his hands began trembling. Chills ran down his spine and goosebumps started appearing on his skin.

Broken pieces of the jade amulet lied alongside the shoe. Da Xia helped collected the fragments of the amulet and gave it to Jia Yi. While in the middle of finding out what happened to Xiao Jian, someone weakly walked over to them. Ying Pei turned around, ready to attack- however his sword dropped to the ground when he realized it was mother, covered in blood with multiple wounds. "Ma! What happened to you!?"

"The Crown..P-Prince...came o-over..." she feebly spoke to him. Ying Pei helped his mother walk to the rest of the group. Wu Zhou looked at her, "Aunty Xing, why did he do this to your village? Exactly for what reason!?" Grandma Xing's eyes locks onto Da Xia, "Bi Yu...he came to get her.. because of that girl standing... beside you.." She continues to speak, "You're not normal...what are you young lady?"

Da Xia blankly looked at Grandma Xing. Jia Yi digs in her medicinal pouch to help treat the wounds and stop the bleeding in her mother in law, "Stay strong, I will help you...you will live.." she said as tears fell. Ying Pei held his mother, "And Xiao Jian, do you know where is my son?"

She began shaking her head and painfully yelled, "It was my fault! I..I couldn't protect my village! I couldn't protect my grandson!" Jia Yi drops to the ground after hearing what her mother in law said, "My...Xiao Jian is...dead?" Xing continued, "After they tortured me... they dragged Xiao Jian like an animal! They brutally attacked him while he cried for his mommy and daddy! I wasn't strong enough to stop them...!"

Wu Zhou turned angrily turned his back at them, "Xiao Jian...I'll get them all back for you."

Chen Xue Qin then walks over to them with his men following behind him, "As expected I knew you'd all arrive here." He smirks then looks over at Grandma Xing, "I'm surprised you're still alive after all that beating. You sure are the head chief of this village."

Da Xia takes a step back after seeing him appear in front of her eyes, fear began to surround her. Ying Pei picks up his sword, "Crown Prince!! How cunning of you to do something like this!!" Xue Qin smiles at him, showing no emotions whatsoever, "About your son? Ah.. what did I do to him again...? I dragged him by his hair, threw him onto the ground, had my men beat him up, then stabbed his heart with my very own hands." Jia Yi angrily screamed at him as tears rolled down her rosy cheeks, "Go to hell!"

Wu Zhou quickly walks over to Xue Qin and faces him, "Do you wanna die?" Xue Qin moves his head away from Wu Zhou and smirks, "How can I die from someone so lowly like you?" He then looks over at Da Xia, "Come back with me, I already told you that you're not safe with them."

She drifts her eyes to the ground, not saying a single word back.

"Don't listen to him Da Xia!" Wu Zhou yelled at her.

"I know everything about you! Only I! Can protect your identity and keep you safe from these dangerous people! Jiang Da Xia, as your fiancé, you must trust me! I would never hurt you and you know that!"

"Jiang Da Xia, whatever you do, do NOT give into him! Those words are full of bullshit!"

Jia Yi sobbed in Ying Pei's arms.

Not knowing which side to choose, Da Xia turned away and walks off. Xue Qin then yells out towards her, "You are not to leave my side! Never!"

Wu Zhou steps forward as he shouts, "Liu Wen Qiang! Get your senses together!" Suddenly, Da Xia's legs stopped moving, her heart thumped, and she stood there frozen.

Xue Qin's men begins to talk to each other:

"That girl...she's the woman in red?!"

"So it IS true that she came back! We're doomed!"

"She has the nerves to return to this world again? Hope she'll experience the same death again!"

"Does His Majesty know about this?"

Xue Qin quickly walks over to grab Da Xia, but Wu Zhou sheathes his sword out at him, preventing him to reach Da Xia, "What do you think you're doing?" Xue Qin looks at Wu Zhou, "You dare to stop me?"

"Chen Xue Qin, you fail your role as a Crown Prince, you're nothing more than an animal!" Wu Zhou then pushes his sword forward, attacking him. Xue Qin grasps into the thin air and pulls out a sword. Water splashed upon the sky and created a ring which beamed out a deep blue magic ray. "Song Wu Zhou , it's about time you quit hiding your true self, you monster!" Xue Qin clashes his sword against Wu Zhou's sword, Falling Light.

Da Xia begins to see pieces of memories flashing upon her eyes. There were cherry blossom petals being blown by the wind, a beautiful scenery of mountains and trees as someone stood by the cliff enjoying the warmth of the sun. But as beautiful as it was, the scene quickly changed into lightning and thunders, mountains were burning and rivers were filled with blood. The feeling of anger and fear started to form inside her, Da Xia couldn't stop those feelings. "What is this..why do I feel like this.." she mumbled to herself.

She then collapses and becomes unconscious, Jia Yi runs over to her to see what's wrong. Ying Pei carries his mother away from the fight, "Wu Zhou! Da Xia blacked out!" Hearing what happened, Wu Zhou pushed his sword upward to make Xue Qin's sword slip out of his hands then ran over to Da Xia.

Before Xue Qin and his men could get over to them, Jia Yi used her Earth Magic to split the grounds far apart from each other and made thick large trees grew tall into the sky, blocking their path. Quickly, they all escaped before Xue Qin and his men broke their way in.

It wasn't long enough until Jia Yi realized that Da Xia had fallen into a very long, deep sleep. She tried her best to find a cure, to wake Da Xia back up.
