14 Future War

Xue Qin held onto Da Xia's hands firmly, "Promise me you'll never go near Song Wu Zhou ever again!" Startled by his sudden grab and yell she stutters, "Wh-why's th-that?" He leans closer towards her, "I know a lot about him, he WILL hurt you. Da Xia, he's a monster in disguise. He will manipulate you, take advantage of you, and will kill you."

Da Xia takes a step back, "I..I don't believe it.." Xue Qin gently places hands onto the sides of her cheeks, "How will I protect you if you're with him?" She sees the seriousness in his eyes, would Wu Zhou really hurt her as he said?

Wen Qiang looks at her nails, "Wow, they're as red as ever." Jia Yi peels off the carrot's skin with a sharpened knife, "Was it always red? I don't remember you painting your nails."

Wu Zhou replies, "She painted them using raspberry and cherry stains." Ying Pei fixes Xiao Jian's bamboo toy, "She's just becoming stranger and stranger, doing weird things she's never done before." Wen Qiang laughs, "I just want to experience what having colored nails are like."

"Okay, once I finish cooking, we will all go get Da Xia back," Jia Yi smiles. Xiao Jian pouts, "So I really am going to Grandma's place?" Ying Pei ruffles his hair, "Yes, you will. But I don't know for how long though."

Chen Zhang Yong digs through the books in the Library Pavilion, "Where is it...." he pants aggressively, "WHERE?! The book of records..." Chen Xue Qin walks into the Library and sees the King throwing books all around the ground, "Father, what are you doing here?"

He instantly raises his head up and walks over towards Xue Qin, "That woman...she's up to no good! I can tell, her eyes says it all!" Xue Qin pushes his eyebrows towards each other, "What do you mean? And who are you talking about?"

After eating, Ying Pei sends Xiao Jian away to Grandmother Xing at Nian Zhe Village. Wu Zhou and the rest begins packing up, getting ready to leave for Da Xia once Ying Pei returns.

Xue Qin enters his room and sees Da Xia reading books, "Da Xia, can I talk to you for awhile?" She lifts off her eyes from to books to look at him, "Sure." He sits down across her from the desk, "We might be going to war soon, my father has been dealing with something quite anomalous. He's stressed out because he's still trying to find out who exactly this person is that's agitating him."

Da Xia worries, "But I don't want to go to war, I don't want to see anyone dead.., Xue Qin, is there another way to prevent this?" He shakes his head, "Whatever comes out from the King's mouth, will always happen. He never goes back on his words." His head begins to hang low, "That's why Mother is dead."

Da Xia's eyes widens, how can the King do such wicked thing?!

Wu Zhou kicks the door open and accidentally hits Ying Pei. "Dude! Watch out!" Ying Pei yells out as he rubs his forehead. Wu Zhou laughs, "I'm sorry, didn't know you were out there." Jia Yi carries her sword and goes over to them, "Let's go." Wen Qiang lies on the bed. Wu Zhou pulls her off, "We're leaving already, where's your sword?"

"I don't have it," she replies.

"Why don't you have it?"

"They took my sword, it's gone," she answers Wu Zhou. He puts on a annoyed face, "Just CALL your sword over? It's not that hard?" Wen Qiang stands up, "I don't have my core, it's impossible to call my sword over. It doesn't recognize who I am."

Ying Pei stands by the door, "Are the both of you ready?" Jia Yi smiles, "Wen Qiang I've packed some medicine specially made for you so you can gain energy as we go." She thanks Jia Yi then heads out the door. Wu Zhou follows behind her.

Da Xia becomes frustrated, why must a war happen? Xue Qin holds her hands, "Lets get married, we'll have our wedding arranged on a good day before the war happens. That way we'll have nothing to worry about, you'll be with me, and I'll be with you. At all times that is." He continues, "More the reason for me to protect you, because you mean everything to me. I can't let anyone hurt you."

She nods her head then hugs him, "Okay, then let's wait until then."

Wu Zhou rants while walking, "The evil King has an evil son and that evil son happens to be Jiang Da Xia's fiancé?!" He shakes his head in annoyance, "I can't. I won't ever allow the Prince to marry Da Xia. She's such a innocent person who doesn't know anything at all, the Prince is going to hurt her in the most painful way she'll ever experience. That I know."
