16 Fiancee and Friend

Da Xia anxiously stared back at the King and took a few steps back, "Do you need something Your Highness?" He walks inside the room, making the atmosphere feel uneasy, "It was you all along.." Confused, she questioned him, "Are you okay Your Majesty?" Without any warnings, Zhang Yong charged towards Da Xia ready to take her life away. He placed his hand on her neck with a tight grip as he pinned her down, choking her to death. Da Xia gasped for air as she tried to break free from his grip.

Xue Qin grabs the Eunuch's collar on the royal robe angrily, "Tell me, what did my father say to you?!" Shaking in fear, the Eunuch replies, "Your Highness, please forgive me! His Majesty told me to tell you to meet with him in the Sun Art Room but he has went in your room to meet with Your Highness's future wife!" Xue Qin pushes the Eunuch away then quickly runs to Da Xia, hoping that nothing had happened to her.

The King ferociously looked at Da Xia as she was beginning to weaken, "Show yourself you Demoness!" She continues gasping for air as she tries to speak out, "I.. don't know.. what you're talking about!" He looks into her eyes then soon realizes, that it isn't a gleaming red color as he expected to be, but just a natural brown color. He lets go of her neck, leaving her to turn to the side, coughing. Hearing someone running over to the room, Zhang Yong quickly changes his personality, pretending to help her, "Jiang Da Xia! Can you hear me? What's wrong?!" Xue Qin bursts into his room and sees the King panicking, "What happened? Father, what did you do to my fiancee!?"

He looks back to see Chen Xue Qin, "Crown Prince, I was on my way to the Sun Art Room but suddenly heard someone choking and objects falling onto the ground. I found that the noises came from this room and found her lying on the ground like this!" Before Xue Qin was to say anything else, the King cut him off, "Quick! Call the Physician over right now!" Xue Qin gives a look at Da Xia then runs out to get the Physician.

Wu Zhou begins to get impatient, "I need to get over there right now! I can't wait another day! Da Xia could be dead by now!" Ying Pei tries to explain, "The fastest we can get there is by sword," he looks back at Wen Qiang, "but are you willing carry her all the way there?" Jia Yi jumps in the conversation, "Wen Qiang still doesn't have enough strength to stand by herself, don't forget that she's lost her inner core." Wu Zhou quickly goes over to carry Wen Qiang as he pulls his sword out, "Whatever, let's get going." Jia Yi and Ying Pei looks at each other then follows Wu Zhou behind.

The King steps on Da Xia's arm, "Don't ever let me catch you becoming who you really are, else you can say goodbye to this world forever." He kicks her body over then walks over to the door.

Da Xia faces towards his back, "You're really evil, how can you do this to me? I'll make sure to tell Chen Xue Qin everything!" Zhang Yong smiles, "We'll see who he'll side with, a wench and become fated to disaster or his father and inherit the throne?" Da Xia clenches her fists angrily. Before Xue Qin was able to enter his room with the Physician, one of the royal guards came to tell him, "There is a little group of people waiting outside the palace gates to talk to you Your Highness." Xue Qin responds back to the guard, "Let them inside, I'll come talk to them after I'm done here." The royal guard bows his head then leaves to orders the other guards to allow them inside.

Da Xia sees Xue Qin enter the room. She quickly runs over to him, "Chen Xue Qin! The King tried to kill me! He's lying to you!" Again, with a change of personality, Chen Zhang Yong looks at Xue Qin, "How can I? Under heaven's watch I will never do such evil thing! I only came here because of the noise I heard while I was on my way to the Sun Art Room! How dare you say such nonsense!?" Xue Qin closes his eyes, "Father, please leave me alone with my fiancee for a while." The King smacks his lips then leaves with his Eunuch.

After the Physician examines her wounds he explained, "There are hand prints on her neck, someone had tried to choke her. Thankfully she wasn't choked any longer else she could have died," He takes something out the medicinal box, "Here are some medicine I will give you to heal your wound. Make sure to apply it to your neck wound every morning and night." Da Xia continues to talk to Xue Qin, "He really tried to kill me.. do you not believe me..even after what the Physician explained?" A tear falls out her eye. Xue Qin takes a deep breathe, "Don't worry about it, I'll make sure something like this won't occur ever again."

She wipes her tears, "I want to go back home.. Xue Qin I want to be happy again, and to live peacefully." He stands up, "Deal with it." Her eyes widens in disappointment, "Why would you..say that?" Xue Qin turns away from her, "We can't go back unless we finish our job here, didn't I already explained that to you? So don't tell or ask me that you want to go back home because we CAN'T."

Da Xia stands up, "What's gotten into you..do you not care about me? How I feel about all of this? Why is that I almost just died and you didn't even bother to ask me if I was okay?!" He turns around to give her a hug, "Of course I care about you, you're my everything. How could I live without you? I promise you that..I will always be there for you no matter what. So please, stop overthinking about me. Things are also hard for me which I can't explain, I hope you understand."

Suddenly Wu Zhou's voice was heard from outside, "When are you going to come out you damn Prince!?" Da Xia notices his voice almost immediately, "Wu Zhou.." Xue Qin looks out the window, "I'll be back Da Xia, stay here."

Ying Pei tries to calm Wu Zhou down, "Don't do anything else, be careful of your words and actions, this IS a royal place, you can get executed if you don't look out for yourself." Jia Yi places her hand on Wu Zhou's shoulder, "We will try our best to get Da Xia back, therefore remain calm and don't act on impulse." She smiles warmly at him. Wen Qiang looks around the palace, "I hate it here."

Xue Qin comes out his room and walks over to where Wu Zhou they are, "What makes you all come here?" Wu Zhou clenches his fists at the sight of him standing before them. Ying Pei calmly answers him, "We'd like to have our friend, Jiang Da Xia, back please." Jia Yi avoided those stone cold eyes of Xue Qin's. He crosses his arms together then says, "Da Xia is my fiancee, who are you to take her away from me? And, she doesn't even know you guys!"

Hearing all the commotion outside, Da Xia looks out the window to see Wu Zhou them talking to Xue Qin. In the corner of his eyes Wu Zhou sees someone's face stick out of the opened window, he turns to see clearly and notices it's Da Xia. Wu Zhou shouts out loud for her to hear, "Xia Xia! Are you okay!? Don't worry we'll get you out of here!" Ying Pei and Jia Yi also sees her by the opened window.

Wen Qiang questions herself, "Did he just nicknamed Da Xia...'Xia Xia?'" She begins seeing fragments of memory when Wu Zhou also called her "Qiang Qiang" with a smile, filled with pure happiness.

Xue Qin tells them, "No matter what you do, I won't ever let you have her! Who knows what you all would do to her!?"

Eyes focused on Da Xia, Wu Zhou begins to see the huge bruised wound on her neck. Da Xia drops down to hide from their eyes and curls into a ball, "I just want to go back..I don't want to stay here any longer.."

Angered Wu Zhou walks up to Xue Qin, "What did you do to my friend..why does she have such a big wound on her neck!??" Guards unsheathes all of their swords and points it directly at Wu Zhou. Ying Pei hurriedly over to pull Wu Zhou back. Jia Yi's brows pulls together creating a crease in the middle, "She's hurt?" Xue Qin smirked back, "Whatever happened to her is none of your business. I will take care of it."

Wu Zhou clenched his fists tightly in anger, "See how wicked you really are! You've killed so many women whom you've claimed is your 'Fiancee!' I will not allow you to kill my friend like you did with the others!" Xue Qin bursts out of laughter for a short moment, "And were you not the one who poisoned Wen Qiang making her weak then told us to kill her off just so you can have her inner core? Were you not the one who planned it all to kill off her entire clan?! We did it all for you because you promised us to give us your sword, Falling Light!"

Ying Pei looks at Xue Qin, "Wu Zhou isn't someone like that. He deeply cared and loved Wen Qiang! You dare lie and put the blame on an innocent man! Wu Zhou also, would never give his sword to anyone!" Jia Yi also speaks up, "Wen Qiang has told us everything, you needn't say anymore lies Crown Prince."

Xue Qin looks at Wen Qiang then back at them, "Not everything you hear is true, there will always be two sides to a story."

Da Xia's eyes widened the moment she heard all of those words. She begins to think to herself, "Who am I to side with now..?"
