7 A Matter of Belief

Silently, Zhang Yong stood up, "That witch? What's so important about her? She's full of malediction! Always doing nefarious and pusillanimous acts up her sleeves!"

Xue Qin crosses his arms, "I want to know how we killed her." Chen Zhang Yong said nothing yet only gave a look towards him.

Jia Yi finished preparing their late lunch, "Everyone please come eat. Let's lift this atmosphere a bit!" Wu Zhou and Da Xia sat down by the little table and ate. A little while after digging in, a knock came from the door. Da Xia looks at them, "W-who is it?" She was afraid they were found.

"Are you going to just stare at the door like that or open for me? My arms are tired," a man said from outside. Jia Yi stands up, putting a huge smile on her face and rushes to open the door for him. The man looked almost unrealistically beautiful. He had fine silky long hair, porcelain face, immaculately defined eyes, a high narrowed nose, and clean bushy brows. The white and light blue silk robe he wore made him pop out even more.

Does such person exist? It's like he jumped out of a manga! Da Xia shooked her head and spoke in her little mind, "I have Xue Qin, such person like that i needn't care of. Xue Qin is as handsome anyways!"

Xie Xiao Jian runs into Jia Yi's arms, "I missed you so much mommy!" He have a cheerful laughter. Then he runs off to hug Wu Zhou happily. Da Xia smiled at the happy reunion.

Jia Yi helped her husband unpack his stuff, "Xie Ying Pei, how was mother? Is she doing fine?"

He smiles softly, "She's as strong as always."

Da Xia couldn't help staring at Xiao Jian, he was just too adorably small and doll like! Ying Pei looked over at her, "Is she the new person?" Jia Yi nods her head, "Yeah, it's a long story, but she's quite a good person. I trust her nature. Though Wu Zhou has just a bit of trust issues with her. I'm sure he'll be fine with her sooner or later in the future."

Xiao Jian wrestled with Wu Zhou, "I've gotten stronger now! I will defeat you!" Wu Zhou smiles and jokes around, "Yeah right you twig! Come at me then!" They both burst into laughter while playing around.

Ying Pei goes over to Da Xia and introduce himself, "I'm sure you already know of me as Jia Yi's husband. My name's Xie Ying Pei. May I get to understand and know of you?"

She looks over at Jia Yi's direction and sees her smiling, saying that it's okay to talk to him. She begins talking, "You wouldn't believe nor understand my story of how I got here because Jia Yi and Wu Zhou surely didn't. But my name is Jiang Da Xia. Nice to meet you."

They both chatted for awhile to get to know each other more.

Wu Zhou sat outside and takes out a hairpin accessory. He gently held it with care and precisely looks at it. Jia Yi steps outside to play with Xiao Jian and sees Wu Zhou. She walks towards him, "When did you buy that pretty hairpin?"

He inhales then exhales, "I just buy them for some reason, I don't know why." She smiles at him, "I hope you'll treasure it for now then, there's always a reason as to why we do things out of our nature."

Xue Qin slams his door shut and tries to unhear what the King had told him. He takes his hatwear off and pulls his hair, "No..no no no no!! I didn't do such thing! I didn't!! I'm not a mad dog..." Going crazy he begins laughing, "I don't do such wicked things..."

Behind the doors of the Prince's room, the Eunuchs and maids can hear loud screaming and things behind thrown and smashed across the room. They looked at each other terrified. One maid quietly asked the others, "Did he remembered everything?"

They answered back:

"I don't know, but the Prince always scares me."

"He's seems to be back to his normal self."
