3 Chapter-3: Home

After a couple of days, Phillip found the asteroid path and found the origin coordinates. The location was close to a few light-years away, after obtaining the path the ship space jumped to the exact location.

They found a planet half-destroyed and forming an asteroid belt around the sun. The star was a blue giant and was revolving at a fast speed.

From the ship several, exaction ships landed on the planet, they were not able to find any traces of neither the symbioses nor their space ships.

In the control room of the spaceship, Jules looked at the report on the plant. It said that the planet gave life only a few million years ago and the evolution of species was relatively faster and if given a few eons it might have evolved into a 3rd rank civilization.

'I think someone destroyed this planet because of its potential, but under our imperial court, all the planets are valuable assets. Is it the neighboring domain but is very far away, and it doesn't look like the work of symbioses', they destroy a complete star system and never ½ a planet. Is it a work of a rough cultivator but why would they do that?' the more Jules thought about it the more confused he became.

For any species, a star system was an asset and never destroys it. Even if they destroy they never leave it ½ done they either extract the world energy or destroy the planet completely to terraforming /rebuild from scratch.

"Commander, inter-dimensional object readings have been found and the asteroid the specimen traveled on also has similar characteristics," said a person who looked like a half eagle.

'What the fuck, it was an inter-dimensional rock. This planets luck is very bad, I heard that the boundary region was prone to these, but it's the first time I heard of them this close to the Imperial court domain'

[An inter-dimensional object was a part of a destroyed plant that passes through a chaotic space at a very high speed, they form an independent screen that blocks or isolates the asteroid surface with that of the outer space for short time duration and anything in its path get destroyed.]

"Hmm… no wonder that kid didn't have any notable wounds, but why was he able to survive a fall from that height and why is his luck so good?" Paul thought as she was looking at the half-destroyed planet.

After a time Paul moved outside the ship and was flying close to the planet. The robot had a few jet packs and gliders.

She was looking at the planet's core and came close to it; she pinched something in her palm. A blue crystal was now rotating on her palm.

"Ttthats a luck stone…. But… but how?" said a voice beside Paul.

Jules was floating beside Paul, without any bodysuit. He had a huge crock face and a body looking like a human but covered with thick green scales.

"Hmm… yes. It's a luck stone; I thought it was a legend. In an ancient book, it was said that when a catastrophe is coming a great deal of luck will also come following it, if one survives it he will receive it. This planet bore a catastrophe and if the luck stone was absorbed by the core of the planet it can be rebuilt naturally"

'That boy must have survived that mountain fall by his luck, but this planet's luck might have played a big role in his survival as well. But why? I have never heard of a person with such extraordinary luck before. The survival of a planet plays a major role in luck but why is the boys' luck comparable to that of a planet. I have to ask master'

"Doctor Paul, regarding the Luck stone?" Jules asked with a grin so ugly that all his alligator teeth were visible.

"Don't worry I will, record and report your contribution to the imperial court. Now I will log out of the avatar and I will be reporting the findings, I will arrange for an escort, the luck stone of a plant is of immense value take good care of it." Said Paul and the robot started dimming down and started floating in space.

Jules took the Luck stone from the robot and placed it into a box and pulled the robot's arm. He said some words and the robot shrank to the size of a palm; he looked at it in his palm and placed it into his pant pockets.

He looked at the dead planet and announced "Everyone look for any signs off inter-dimensional asteroid" he said and projected the image of the asteroid.

The luck stone was a priceless treasure only 1 stone can be mined in 10000 years and is guarded by the respective civilization in the ancestral grounds and very few individuals knew of its appearance and mostly pass is it off as a blue stone/marble, that's why the commander had confidence that only one was available on this planet and that's why he never revealed its name to anyone in his crew for searching.

He returned to the ship and placed the Luck stone and the shrunk robot into the ship's secret vault.

The ship stayed in the vicinity of the planet for a month and never found any signs of the asteroid.

They set course to a nearby long-distance space portal/Long distance space node to return to the Imperial Palace.

Their main mission was to patrol the boundary and report the cause of the local disturbances and they knew with the ambush that a mole was present in the palace and that the mole was likely working for the symbioses.
