Hiring

Penny Poppins opens her back door, dressed in a lavender-colored robe and a messy bun. She took deep breaths. "A nice yet a bit cold day. It will be fine." She walked back inside, shutting the back door and fell onto the couch and switched on her TV to her favorite channel.

"Now Hiring Night Guard." A commercial said. Penny sat up and paused the commercial. She got up and walked to her TV closely. She read carefully, "Now Hiring Night Guard. Five or more nights, from twelve AM to six AM. Help will be optional. If interested, please call ******."

Penny grinned and walked to her old fashion phone that she was given by her father in the early '80s. She dialed the number and a man with a deep yet soothing voice answered her. "Hello?" The man said. Penny wrapped her finger around the cord as she thought of her words.

"Hello! I saw your commercial for Freddys Pizzeria! And that you need a Night Guard! I am up for the job! My name is Penny Poppins, but call me Penny." Penny answered back. The man hummed, thinking.

"Alright, Penny. Please meet me at five PM at this location, **** ** *****. I will be at the front desk, in a purple suit." The man answered. Penny thanked the man and hung up.

"The pay seems good." Penny walked back to her TV. She yawned and unpaused the commercial. Her TV show soon began to play.

Six hours pass. It is four PM now. Penny walks out of her shower and gets dressed in a short yet wavy dark purple dress. "One hour till I have to go." She looks at her watch. Penny goes downstairs to her kitchen to find a snack, she decides to eat an apple then leave.

Penny arrives at the Pizzaria, fifteen minutes early. She walks out of her car and inside. A smell of fresh pizza welcomes her. She always loved the smell of pizza, who doesn't? Penny looks around for a man in a purple suit, she only finds a man in a purple suit with black bags under his brown eyes. She freezes as soon as she lays her eyes on him. She takes a deep breath and walks forward. "Hello! I am Penny Poppins! Are you the man I needed to meet up with?"

The man looks up and smirks. "Why yes, I am, William Afton." William stands up and shakes her hand. "Alright, follow me to my office." William lets go of her hand. Penny smiles nervously. He frightened her a bit but tried her best not to show it.

William sits down and Penny follows. "So, Miss Poppins, what makes you want this Night Guard position?"

"Well, the pay seems good, I love to see robots, and seeing that bear interested me. It looked cute. And I am a night owl, I actually rarely sleep, so it would be something for me to waste my time on." Penny responded. William looked her dead in the eye and grinned again. He took off his glasses and laid them flat on his desk.

"Well, are you afraid of jumpscares, and giant robot suits?" William glanced around her. Penny froze and sweated a bit.

"Well... what do you mean...?" Penny slowly and shakily raised her hand onto the desk. William chuckled and got up and walked out of the office, three minutes later, he returned with a mask of a rabbit, a robot that Penny saw on her way to the office, Bonnie. She watches William return to his seat.

"This, this is a Bonnie mask. From our second most popular animatronic. Imagine it with a body, same color as this, and wires poking out, with blue eyes too; shaking and screaming in your face." William shakes the mask in her face. Penny gulps and takes the mask from him. She feels inside and outside the mask and shutters.

"I can manage, I sorta like horror stuff so, I can do it! As long as I don't die." She chuckled nervously. William took back the mask and returned it.

"Very well Miss Poppins. Meet here again at eleven PM, wear this suit when you arrive." William hands Penny a purple suit. Penny thanks him and walks out of the office, as soon as she is about to exit, she pauses and turns around to see the animatronics. A bear, bunny, and chicken stare at her, singing and dancing. She shutters but smiles and waves to them, then she runs out to her car.

"Alright, Penny;" Penny whispers to herself as she clenches her fists on her steering wheel, "You have a job of horror in five hours. Go get ready now." Penny turned on her car and started to drive home.

As soon as Penny got home, she took her suit and threw it into the washer for an hour, then the dryer for an hour. After the two lovely hours passed, she tried on the suit, it was very comfortable. Penny smiled at herself as she turned around, checking her curves. "You are one fine looking women." Penny chuckled to herself.

Two hours pass by quickly. Penny turns on her car and drives back to the Pizzaria. It looked scary at the night. She sighed and walked to the doors, and slowly opened them. As soon as she stepped in, the fresh pizza smell greeted her again. She shutters slightly and makes her way to the main room. She only sees six eyes staring at her. She gulps her spit and walks to William's office.

"Ah, welcome back Miss Poppins." William cracks his knuckles as Penny entered his office. "The suit looks lovely on you." He said with a smile. Penny smiled a bit, but it faded quickly as she took a seat. "Alright, I have some things to give you, the pizzeria keys, this purple hat, and this badge. This badge you will wear on any outfit. So in case you come home with any 'damages' done to you, people can't laugh, they will bow to you." William slide them over, Penny shakily took them, she put on the hat, the badge, and clipped the keys to her belt.

"Thank you... sir... I guess we both should get going?" She got up from her chair and opened the door. William got up and walked out.

"Good luck Miss Poppins." He waved her away as soon as he walked out the door.

"Alright, Penny, the office should be down here..." Penny paused. She heard a phone going off, which made her sure she knew where the office was. "I am coming!" She called out to the phone as she took down the hall, feeling ONE pair of eyes on her.

"Hello? Hello? Uh hey-"
