1 When they met...

Number 8 pov~

Its was October 1st, 1989 when a women her name still unknown, Gave birth to me. I came out of no where, At least thats what "father" told me. The women gave me up to "father", sometimes i close my eyes and imagine that i was still with her.

Father was training us to be the best "superhero" we could be. I had extreme intelligence, meaning i have the brain development 100,000,000x of a avage 30 yr old, It might sound lame..... but im the most powerful of all according to father, i can copy power with just a drop of DNA, control the atoms around me and much more that we havent discovered. Thats why father put an electric chip in my neck, cause he was scared of me.... so every time i misbehaved or just didn't do something he wanted me to do... he would shock me. I was very jealous of 1-7 they all got regular training and they didnt have chips in there neck. every was mean to me... especially number 6. he was daddy favorite and always had been. we were 29 when i got wasted and it turns out i become even more intelligent when im drunk so i somehow figured out how to make my DNA go back words. When I woke up that moring... i was in a 12 yrs old body..... Eveyone was shook when I went downstairs for breakfast and father yelled at me for getting drunk so i got shocked but it didnt bother that much in comparison to the massive headache. I ate my breakfast and went up stairs to put on my old uniform and took off my current one that rinked in alcohol and every became worse after that day

current day ( year later)

I was in the training room when i heard.... laughter? i was so confused. soon i heard number 6 say " who are these douche bags" so i went towards the living room when i saw another 2 pears of 1,2,3,4 and 7. so i said " who invited the circus?" they all look at me and i chuckled. I took a whiff of the air and glared at them. I walked over and stared at this scrawny 13 year old. father explained that these people were us. except this number five didn't look like this number five. Father explained the change in the past made a birth affect so thats why they look different and the fact the my 5 was an adult and this "five" looks 13. Then i realized.... " were am i?" i said in a confused face. Father said with a grin " it looks like your family wanted you before they mess it up" then 6 piped up "or he didnt want you. cause i mean who would want you" he said with a grin. i just rolled my eyes. to confirm who im talking about 5 is my 5. The other Five is the Five that is randomly in our living room. Father came next to me and said loudly " This one has powers is intelligents" pointing at me. Five look at me weird he opened his mouth but before he could answer Father said " she looks 13 cause she got drunk and Somehow reversed her DNA and doesn't remember how she did it" Five look at me and i kinda got uncomfortable. Sooner or later Father said still next to me " show these fools what you can do" he said with a grinned. My eyes widened, I said in a hurry " what?! no. im not doing that" he got the shocker button and pressed it. after a few seconds i had enough and said " Fine!" in rage. i grabed Five tie and kiss him for some DNA. i let go and he looks shook and it that made me chuckle. my eyes became blue and i was copying his powers in my vain to make it last up to an 2 hours. i see his history in a flash... its quite fascinating. i teleport right behind his and tap his shoulder, he turns around and looks at me in excitement. i lean in and whispers in his ear and says " you are cute. too bad your heart is still healing from your mannequin and the fact that you are 58". I teleport right infront of him and turns him around the look on his face makes me laugh. Father says " she can copy powers and read your past with just the drop of DNA. And do much more that will not be explained at this very moment". Five just looks at me the hole time, i dont even think he was paying attention to Father at this point. Father sooner or later father was done explaining everything and gave the " umbrella academy" is what they called themselves rooms. I went back to the training room and trained while thinking about what just happened. I was deep in my thoughts i didnt notice 5 coming up from behind me, he scared me. i say in a rush " what?". he looks at me and says " why did you kiss him? you know there other ways to get DNA" he seemed jealous.... i cleared that thought out and said " well i wasnt gonna eat his hair or finger nails thats gross and that way was much faster" he rolled his eyes at me and said " yeah well it looked like he would of rather have you chew off his foot then kiss him" he grinned. i turn back to training and said " hm really? cause i remember him not only not pushing away but i thinked he blushed" i dont really know if he blushed but i said that just to make him go away which worked cause he stormed out of there like a 6 year old after they get told to go to there room. now 5 is in an adult body so it was kinda funny watch him act like an 6 year old. About an hour later i got thirsty from all the training and went towards the kitchen were i saw five and who was apparently diego talking is whisper voices. I quietly walk in so i dont disturb there convention and grabs a water from the fridge, but i closed the fridge a bit too hard and they turned around and stared at me. i look at them with one eyebrow and said " what?" in a curious voice. Five walks towards me and i get goosebumps. he askes me in a curious but kinda mean voice " how much of my "past" did you see?" i look at him with a serious face and said " not much really. i just know that your conscious is 58 and you put the decimal in the wrong place do when went back in time your body went backwards to 13 and that you gave up your mannequin And been trying to save the word for the past week.It might sound like a lot but i only know main details." he look at me and said " what was the button thing mr.H ( father) was holding? and why did it hurt you?" Why is he asking so many questions? i mean i know he was an assassin i didnt tell him i knew just in case he had to kill me for it even if he wasnt one anymore. maybe he likes to learn about his victims before killing them? i didnt know so i just turned around and as i was walking i said in a harsh voice " this isnt 20 questions portal boy." Who was apparently klaus walked by when i said it and said " wow you are as mean as five" i roll my eyes and jog up to my room. I lay down on my bed think about everything before falling asleep. I woke up to someone playing some old folk song. i look at the clock and i yelled on the top of my lungs " WHO THE HELL IS PLAYING THAT AWFUL MUSIC AT 2am" who appeared to be "klaus" said in what seem to be in a loud whisper " now you know. its 2am." i got out of my bed and speed walk to "klaus's room". i turn the light and i see "vanya" and "klaus" talking. i glare at him and say in a mean voice " Was it you who was playing that awful music and woke me up?" he smiled and said " well vanya wanted to know what time it was" I grabbed an atom that was an attemment to the alarm clock behind him and swinged it so the alarm clock hit the back of his head. he said " ow! what the fuck?" i grinned and said " oops! i just wanted to know what time it was. your head was in my way" he look at me blankly and i rolled my eyes and walk towards my room. i closed my door practically slaming it and grabbed the whiskey from under my bed, all of a sudden i hear a voice saying " Can i have some?" i turn around to see five standing there. i stand up and up my hands up as if we were about to fight and asked " why the hell are you in her portal boy?" he teleported right in front of me which nearly made me lose my balance and says " i have a name". i say " okay and? i like calling you portal boy" he teleported behind me and holds me tight and says "call me what everyone else calls me" i could feel his warm breaths on my neck. i grinned and said " two can play at that game" i got out of his grip and grabbed his neck, i pulled him in and kissed him. he didnt even fight, in fact i think he kissed back. once i got enough DNA i letted go and teleport infront of him making him lose his balance. than i bented down and said " its portal boy" i teleported to my bed and poured a glass of whiskey and gave it to him. " now... why are you in my room?" i said watching him drink the whiskey. he gets up and said " i heard screaming and thought something was wrong but when came here you were gone so i was about to leave but you came in". we stared at each other before he teleported out of the room. i teleported to my bed just for fun and hop in bed.

I woke up the next day to argueing and the smell of what seem to be.... Coffee? i ran downstairs and saw Five drinking coffee while 5 yelled at him for drinking caffeine. it seemed they were the only ones awake so i walked over and said " since when do we have coffee here?" Five gave me some and smiled. " since now" he said. 5 took the mug from me and said " No coffee! if i cant have any you cant either". i look at him and said as i grabbed the mug" grow up! you are 30." i took a sip. YUM! this is really good but i didnt let it show. i just did what five did took a few sip at a time. sooner or later i felt a wave of terrible shock pain and drop the mug to put my hand on my neck were it hurts. five stands up looking at me. I hear a voice coming out from behind me " coffee?! you know better than to drunk shush garbage!" father said in a booming voice. five said " What what are you doing with that button". father replied still holding the button down " i have an shock chip in her neck. so when i press this it shock her." i get on my knees from pain and five looks at me with sorrow. " why is she the only one with one?" five says his voice getting louder. " she is the most dangerous" father says in a cold voice. my eyes starts to go into the back of my head when "Diego" and number 1 come down. "Diego" comes rushing toward me when i feel me when i feel five hand on my shoulder. his voice is very faded but i think he said " are you okay?" five stands up and i think he was yelling at father to stop. "Diego" trys to get to me but number 1 says " it fine. this happens all the time. she always does something wrong.". soon i feel the pain fade and ny eyes go back to the front i catch my self from falling and tries to get back on my feet. i look in father direction but he is already gone. Five rushes toward me and put his hands on my shoulder as askes me once again " are you okay?" i say " yeah,yeah im um fine". number 1 finally lets go of "Diego" when he stabs him in the arm. i hear number 1 groan in pain." Diego" runs over and helps me up. without even look at him or five i walk off to my room. i locked my door cause i was embarrassed and didnt want to talk to anyone and than i realized Five could teleport so i moved a few atoms in my walls which had cause a stong mega field which will make it nearly impossible for him to teleport in or out. i lay down on my bed look at the ceiling. i let out i sigh and grabs my Walkman, I put in the earbuds and close my eyes.i listen to the music for a while before i open my right eye and take of an earbud. i hesr whisper out side my room. it clear that it was Five Diego talking about how they couldn't get in. I listen in for a while before i go back and listen to my music again. i fall asleep to the sound of sweet but psycho which reminded of five... and that maded me smile. I dont know how to feel about Five and his family. But i got some feelibf of trust when i touched him.... but that could be anything so im just gonna have to wait...

i wake up at 2:00am. and this time not from klaus and vanya. it seemed much more intense than for it to be some loving brother and sister jokes. so i more the atom and open the door.I tip toe out over to were the hush voices are coming from. i look threw the cracked door and i see 5 and Five arguing. i could hear what they were saying but i could tell they weren't nice. I was going to leave them to argue but than i see Five look pissed while seeing 5 smirk. Five punches 5 hard on the cheek. i wanted to watch him fall but a apart of me have tooken over and told me to help him... after all he WAS my best friend 20 yrs ago. i know it wasnt much. but he WAS there for me when i was young.... too bad he had changed. I pull a atom so he dosent fall and i boom in there " WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!" i said loudly but not loud enough to wake up the others. I help up 5 then i tell Five " for an 58 year old who has comprehended much more difficult things its kinda unfortunate that you comprehend a skill of an first grader keep you hands to yourself!" before 5 could smirk i say " and you stop being a asshole" i walk out and head to my room. once i get in i sit on my bed so frustrated. i put my hands infront of my face from frustration. i feel some sort of woosh but i dont move cause im so frustrated. i feel five hand on my shoulder than i feel him sit down. Then he says " why are you so mad?its just a silly fight" i didn't truly know why i was upset but i told him why i believed i was so frustrated by the hold thing " you both are adults. especial you. just cause you look like a kid doesn't mean you have to act like one" i said annoyed a little. he says in a sweet voice " im sorry i have upseten you" i was shocked! i almost fall out of my bed. sorry? i know this guy. he wasnt the sorry type. he never had... even when he was a kid. Was he planning to kill me?! is that why he has been so nice?! i have to know!i just have to! i turn my head and grab his shirt and kiss him. for somereadon he kisses back but im sure thats the effect of dating a mannequin. i pull away after about 10 seconds even though i had enough DNA about 5 seconds before. but he didn't want to pull away and either did I for some reason. my eyes burn in blue and i look threw the past few days in a flash. nothing.... absolutely nothing about killing me... what if he had become smart enough to block me! my "father" had! even though i was extremely scared I controlled myself. I came back to my cautious insted of his. he smirked and said " what do you need my powers for?" i say looking away from him " i didnt need your powers.. i just wanted to know more about you." his smirk turns into a smile and he leans into my ear and says " or can you not keep your lips to yourself?" my eyes widen and i blush red. thats not true at least not a first now all i want to do is kiss him... but i do know how to keep my lips to myself. i teleport to my bay window and looks out and says " don't flatter yourself. i really just wanted to know more about you" i said im a harsh voice. i feel bad that i said it like that and in that why. but he can not of shush a mind set especially THAT mind set. i could feel the pear of eyes that have been on me this hold time not looking at me. I know he was still there but he was looking st the floor. i felt bad but i said nothing. it was silent tell i heard a woosh. he left. i thought i would be glad but.... i was honestly sad. But i walk to my bed and climed in and i feel alsleep almost immediately.

I woke up at 6:00am and i was tired as frick but i couldn't go back to sleep. so i went to a near by cafe ( which was a donut shop). I sat down and ringed the bell. i heard the door open and it was this 40yr old and of course Five we look at each other shook. i turned away. he of course sat next to me. i blush a little but than i saw a women i would say about 19 maybe? walk out(her name is kirsty). she ask them man what he wanted and than look at us and said " do the kids want milk or something....?" i look at her dead in the eyes and said " The kids want coffee.... black" i smiled and she look at us weird and left to get the order down. i look at five who eyes were widen and but sooner or later he just look forward still a little tense but that could be from him being tired and still being on guard. a couple seconds go by before Five says " This place is STILL a shit hole after everything" i turn towards him and rise and eyebrow. he just look at me and rolled his eyes. I turn towards the women who had just came out with 3 things of black coffee and was no getting out a jelly doughnut for the man next to us. I sip on my coffee which was was better than the previous cup of coffee at home. when i finshed i hopped of the stool thing and started to walk but five came up to me and kissed me. i was shock and after about 5 seconds i pushed away but before i could say anything he leaned into my ears and said " just giving you a ride home". i smiled a little and burned my eyes blue. i took in that DNA and put it in my vains that would give me about 2hrs worth of this power. As he left to finished i blushed and walk out of the doughnut shop than teleport by way back to home. When i got there Diego was in my room. we look each other in shock. Before i clould ask he said " Reginald was calling you down for breakfast and you didnt awnser so he told me to see of you were here" i walk up to him and said " Well you tell him i was" i said glaring at him as before i could walk by him he grabbed my arm and said " how do you have Fives powers?i thougt they only lasted for 2 hrs?" i looks in another direction and blushed than said " i was with five and he dtill wanted to be there but gave me his DNA so i could copy his DNA to get back home without any issues" he let ho of my arm and walked down stairs while he was right behind me. I felt a shock pain in my neck... this felt horrible. he put it up on 233 it only lasted for a few seconds so i was fine but it still stung. i walk to the table holding my neck. " Why were so late?" Father said in a mean voice. " i was asleep" i said fast. he just want some ' i dont quite believe you but i do at the same time' noises than started eating. i finished eating the pancakes and went to go upstairs but than father said "its time for your training. head towards the training room. i want you to get 500 points or more. and i want you in there training tell it time to go to bed. i went upstairs to change than head for the training room. i puched a punching bag for a while which each hit was 0.1 points so it took me a bit to get to one point. than i started doing some hard quizzes which each right awnser was one point. i eared 100 points from that quiz then i went to weights and tge heavier the more points so i did 2 600's which earned me 10 points each and it took me for a while but i eared 200 points from weights. So than i went on the treadmill and ran for an hour on 100 miles per hour which was quite exhausting. i eared another hundred from that. Over all i have 401 points. i could stop working so hard when i get 99 more. i do aiming which earned me 100 points after a few hours. i had 501 points. i went back to puching for an few hours which earned me 50 points. after another hour number 2 comes in and rolls his eyes and says " ew you look gross. anyways dad says its time for bed" i walked out in embarrassment. its time for 'bed' just cause i look like a child dosen't mean I should be treated like one and the other look like adults and they are adults i mean they dont act like it but they are, so why do we have 'bed time' but i WAS tired so i just went to my room and layed down on my bed. I hear a woosh and i got all excited inside thinking it was Five but it wasn't.... it was 5.

before i could ask What the fuck he was doing in my room he grabs my arm and askes me " do you love him?" he asked i look at him confused and say in a confused voice" in love with who?" he looks at me with tears in his eyes and says " Other Five!" i look at him... and im still confused... why does he care... is five trying to kill me and he told 5? I dont know. so i stare blankly at him before awnings " where is this coming from?" i say in a confused. he looks away from be letting go of my arm. im still confused but im still wondering why are people grabbing my arm so much dang?! but of course i dont say anything about that cause im waiting for 5 to awnser me. he gets real close and hold my chin up real high and kisses me i have never been more shocked in my life. WTF is going on?! i was too busy processing what the hell was happing to push him away and smack teh living crap out of him. soon he lets go and puses me against the wall. i was still so confused to even move so i just lean on the wall like an idiot and he bend over and whispered in my ears " if you want teleportation you come to me... not him." once i got my senses back i looked him in the eyes and said "no" and than grab his tie and dragged it to the door where i took outside of my room and shoved him against a wall and went back to my room. once i closed the door I moved a few atoms so it was nearly impossible for 5 to teleport his way in here. i sat on my bed. I was kinda scared a little bit so i went to my bay window and climbed out of the fire escape. I started jogging, You know for a little midnight jog. I had no idea were i was going..... or when i was coming back.
