Seraphine's perspective: Chapter 8

Its been a long time, very, very long time.

But i'am still calm and collected and i can still think very carefully about my situation.

This is definitely not normal, right now i should be going insane because of isolation... But considering i have merged with the soul and body of a

' Vampire' I guess it is normal !.

Its been almost 11_12 years since our arrival to this world. Master is waiting for someone to free us but i don't have any hope left of freedom.

Master said that we have come here to protect this world. But to me it looks like we are just prisoned for our crime. He tried many ways, experimented on the magic circle, tried creating many space magic which could wrap the space around but to no avail. This place is indestructible.

Even though we are here for so many year we don't have a single distortion in our body. Normally considering we should be energyless right now. For a living being to live he/she needs energy but inside this seal we always feel satisfied and ageless. Well, it could be also because we are not humans now.

"Sigh"

I have read many novels where the seal gets weakened throughout the time it is cast but it was just a novel i guess, Considering we were reincarnated inside the seal it was already cast many years before we came, but this seal is the same as it was yesterday.

Its almost time for training with master,

"i should get ready."

Even though i have been fighting with him everyday i am not even close to his perfect aim and control of his body. He is able to see my moves before i even think them!.

After getting his emotions back i thought he would start to hesitate when attacking but his fighting style hasn't changed, when fighting his eyes turns cold enough to send shiver to anyone but I guess that's what happens when you fight to kill your whole life.

There area 7-8 floors in this place and i spend my most alone time in the top where there are incomprehensible books.

while walking i reach the end of the stair, Master was sitting on the throne while his eyes were closed. I slowly walk toward him and when i get close to him, he suddenly opens his eyes.

" Are you ready?" He says that while standing and walking toward me.

" Yes but before that can you tell me about your situation?" I asked that cause like mine his body was also going through the merging process where some memories and desires of this body are appearing in me naturally like me 'wanting to fight with master' Constantly.

"Well, i am merging with this body but nothing has changed about me, but it is strange phenomenon where i see myself as this body original owner and not at the same time...that's it i guess." he explains it and i thought he would ask about my situation but he didn't and continues to make his fighting stance

And i also get ready to fight, while i was getting ready he dissapear from my view... I got confused what is happening. Then suddenly he was in top of my head standing with out steping in my head and starts to say something

" we are in another world, So there must be different types of fighting styles where we won't be able to touch the opponent. Then try to see what i am doing and if i see you letting your guard down i will attack you very SERIOUSLY', Another thing i won't touch you with my hands this time while attacking. think of it as a handicap" While saying that he dissapears again.

What is happening, I thought it would be a regular training to keep ourself amused but this time master was very serious, well he alwàys was but i haven't seen him attack while using magic.

From when i came to this world i haven't used magic while fighting because it slows my movement speed and reaction speed cause it takes time to cast a magic because it needs a vivid imagination.

So master is trying to make me fight while using magic, i understand his intention but why was he so serious.

while i was thinking that master appear infront of me and puts a sharp object in my throat. I was seriously scared by the look master was giving. i have only seen it when he was killing his traget and he slowly slice my throat and separates my head from my body, my consciousness slowly starts to dissapear.

To use your powers you have to activate it or think that it is natural for it to be activate, But seraphine was living her life as a human. so she has not gotten used to her power because she rarely uses it. If you don't want to use your powers then you are no different than a human. so you have to get used to it from birth for it to feel natural that's the reason for my test this time. A person can live up to 1 minute after his head is choped off and i think that's enough time for her to think this through

Then a thought comes to seraphine's mind, [ If i don't use magic to heal my wound right this second i will die] .

When her head was separated and was in the ground, blood from her head and torse starts to pull each other and slowly gets healed but seraphine did not ' wake up'.

While being scared that something has happened to her i started to approach her. When i got near her and tried checking if her heart was beating but i didn't hear a sound..... but immediately when i was started to lose hope and was starting to despair her heart started beating. It must have taken some time for her brain to process everything.

" Phew~" Akind of burden was lifted from my body, Then Seraphine's body starts moving she wakes up.

" Cough~€ Cough~" While waking she starts coughing must because of the after thought of the incident.

While waking up from her position she stares at me for a second and starts speaking

" Can i ask why you killed me for no reason at all?. There were many ways to for me get used to using my body but why did you use that kind of method to make me remember my self healing ability! " She asks that question while being confused.

"Because i believed in you i guess,Besides from when you were small you have always made break through during danger and this was a small problem. Now your whole body will remember that you have to use magic if you don't want to die,। know it was a little dangerous but i think we don't have much time left to waste." I say it like i was reminding her of her situation.

"I understand, i sometimes forget that you don't know how to do things normally. sigh~." She says that while being sarcastic and unsatisfied with my answer but i didn't have a choice. When i saw that this caged place has made her weak my instinct told me i should make her realise how easy it is to die and the consequences of not using her powers.

"But, Master why did you say that we didn't have much time left, are we being freed."

Seraphine says that while looking at me, hoping for some good news.

"Yes, exactly i think we are being freed but it is just a feeling so let not get our hopes up."

"What do you mean?. Did you found some kind of future predicting ability or something?." Sera says that while being dissapointed

"No, but i just has this confident feeling which tells me that something good will happen and i know this sounds idiotic but trust me something will definitely happen."

when i say that seraphine's looks at me and" Sigh~" and goes to roam the palac while being dissapointed

Then i also "Sigh" and sit down on the throne.
