First step on the grave ; Apocalypse ( Book one )

In an apocalyptic future where zombies have hunted down humans to near extinction , the only thing left is nothing but survivors . The surviving strands of humanity build fortress like cities to protect themselves and have a defence unit called Squad Fighters . Lesley Woodsman is a Squad fighter who has a deep animosity for zombies , having witnessed their horrific nature . But after working so hard to fight zombies and to kill them just as they kill humans , what will he become ? Will he find peace ?
