73 Chapter 73: Who is getting married

While she was still showering in the bathroom, she heard flirtatious sounds coming from the bedroom next to hers.

Mu Ru could not help but grumble. The Dongfang family was so rich, yet they had not invested in good materials to make their walls thicker and well insulated.

She hurriedly took a shower and walked out. The sounds from next door seemed to have become louder, and she could vaguely hear Xi Muxue's exaggerated screams.

Mu Ru quickly took out the recording pen Dongfang Jun gave her and quickly turned it on. She listened to the recording and pictured herself in class with the rest of her classmates. She steadied herself a little and quickly took out her textbook, notebook, and pen to make notes.

She was about to let out a long breath, but before she could open her mouth, someone spoke to her.

She froze in fear and shock. She immediately recognized that the voice didn't come from the next room, but from her own room.

She slowly pulled her head out of the blanket and realized that Dongfang Mo and his wheelchair were already beside the bed. He had something in his hand.

He said, "Although I can't have sex with you as a husband and wife normally would, I..."

Dongfang Mo paused for a moment, and a strange smile appeared on his face. Mu Ru looked at the rough texture of his skin, and his smile looked more like that of a devil's.

He continued, "I can't let you be bullied by your sister so arrogantly, can I?"

Dongfang Mo's tone was obviously filled with mockery.

Before Mu Ru could react, he reached out his hand and quickly pressed the lights on the wall. The room instantly plunged into pitch-black darkness.

The rooms in the Dongfang home were not soundproof, but they had a very cozy feel. The thick floor-to-ceiling curtains were black and gray. When the lights were turned off at night, everything would be pitch black, and not one single ray of light could be seen from the Dongfang house.

In the darkness, Mu Ru was so scared that she curled up in the blanket. She soon heard rustling sounds from behind her. She knew that Dongfang Mo was taking off his clothes. Obviously, he planned to stay in her room for the night.
