Introduction
World Setting
Set in a world much like ours. Not sure if I want to make the characters travel further than their own city, but for now I'll just name their city and that is Owl City. The followings will be the main settings:
1) Falcon High School
Most event will occur here. This is the high school where the female lead and the rest of the crew will be studying at.
The two places will be where writer and editor will usually meet with each other to discuss regarding her romance novel are:
2) Editor's office in Wanderer Publishing Company
3) Queens Apartment;
The female lead's apartment, where the Best Friend is a neighbor living on the same floor. The female lead live alone.
Other settings will perhaps be the dating spots such as: the park, the theme park, the mall, etc
Main Characters
- Female Lead:
1) Sylvia
She is the author of the best-selling light novel series titled Love Serendipity. It was a story that she had started righting on a whim for fun when she was in middle-school. She had no desire to become a writer at first, but then through a 'stroke of luck', his busy-body of an older brother found her story and sent it to the Wanderer Publishing Company, that happened to be searching for a new inspiring writer at that time to be their model new writer to pull other new writer to their company. They accepted her script and from then on started supporting her writing. She wrote under the pen name Alex. Her identity and gender had never been revealed to the public by her own request.
Her family consists of her loving parents, and older brother which she both love and hate at the same time. Since her parents often traveled because of their work, Sylvia had been moving to many places since she was little. She decided to start staying in Owl City when she started high school under the encouragement of her editor who wanted her to focus on her writing, besides its easier for them both when they stayed in the same city. Her family is happy-go-lucky type of people so they agreed with her decision, however they kept reminding her that if someone were to bully her they'll come rushing to Owl City that instance. Either way, they do come for a surprise visit here and then.
The female lead is portrayed as an average girl. Doesn't stand out in the spotlight, neither was she so low in popularity that she will get bullied. The very definition of an average girl.
- The Helpers aka the Jokers who made her life upside down:
1) The Editor
Editor to the Love Serendipity for the last 2 years. Like an uncle to the female lead, already part of the family, so they really trust him with her. The female lead also depends on him a lot whenever she had problems either with writing or personal life. He had really wanted to only help his writer when he gave the First Love System to her.
2) The Master
The Creator and also Tinkerer of the First Love System. Concerned about his best friend's (the Editor's) health, so he suggested the use of the System he had just created. What he had never told him was that it was just a prototype and he was looking for a beta tester for it.
3) The Pixie
The Guardian for the First Love System's User. She provide guidance or opinions to the User about the systems and the missions needed to be executed, or so she said. Like any other pixies, she is one really naughty creature. However, when push come to shove, and her female's feelings took over, she really do help in making a difference when problems arise.
4) The System
The First Love System. Basically a computer. It provides the missions that the User will have to execute. Also provide User with Love Percentages of each candidates; either they are suitable to be User's Lover or how much the candidates love the User, and etc.
- The Male Lead aka the Guys aka the Suitable Candidates for Sylvia's Love (So the System says):
1) The Rebel
A mafia boss son.
2) The Best Friend
Childhood besties with the female lead. Has a crush on her despite the other not having any feelings towards him. Happy she came back to Owl City.
3) The Mysterious Character
A sniveling poor boy that always got bullied. Female lead save him once. There something about him that doesn't seemed right or character a bit unreal.
4) The Big Brother's Clone
An athletic person. Cheerful type. Remind female lead of her big brother.
5) The Mr Perfect
Part of student council. Stickler for rules.
6) The Miscalculation
Unfortunately this one is a girl.
Outline
The main theme of this story is teen's romance. The female lead of this story is a novelist of a popular romance light novel series named Love Serendipity. Since she had no experience with love herself, because of this at some point during her writing she was struck with a writer's block. Wanting to help his writer the Editor gave her the First Love System as suggested by created by his best friend. According to its creator, the system will ensured that not only will help the User experience her first love, but also one that is 100% guaranteed to be everlasting.
About the First Love System:
It constantly provide its User with a series of tasks to be done and choices to be made. Whenever the User failed to make a choice or complete a mission within the time limit penalties will be issued accordingly. These penalties ranges from something that are painful (ex: being struck by lightning in the Mind Space) or something that will force complicates the User's life (ex: the User's body will involuntarily move on its own and had her first kiss stolen).
