5 5) CRUSH

"Hi, cutie."

Cecil was at loss after hearing Noah calling him cutie. That was the first time he didn't get angry after someone called him cutie. He was often bullied on his childhood for his slightly feminine face. They used to bully him by saying word like 'girly boy'. Although most of the people called him cute lovingly, he never liked hearing people calling him like that. Gradually they stopped calling him cutie. It really had been long since someone called him that. But still he managed his specs on the bridge of his nose and said, "My name is Cecil."

Noah chuckled and said, "I know. I am just teasing you. You are the second boy of this class, right? Nice to meet you. Shall I call you foxy then? It goes according to your surname, Redfox. Is that okay?"

Marcus laughed from the side and said, "Don't call him that, Noah. He is the respected student of our class."

"Yeah. Just call me Cecil."

Noah sighed and said, "Okay, Cecil."

Cecil didn't know why but he loved the way Noah said his name. It sounded kinda melodious. Ms Jenny then announced, "We still got to choose the class representative for the semester. Who wants to be? You can raise your hand."

Of course, none raised their hands. None wanted to take the responsibilty of the whole class. The entire class was silent. Seeing none raising their hands, Ms Jenny narrowed her eyes and said, "Since none is interested, how about I choose myself? None is allowed to object my decision."

All of the students immediately lowered their heads praying she won't take their name. Ms Jenny stared at the whole class for a while and made her decision.

"Okay. I choose Cecil Redfox. I've seen the records of your previous performances. So, Cecil..... I hope you will perform your duty properly for this semester too."

Everyone sighed in relief after hearing their name wasn't picked except for one. Although there wasn't any expression on his face, Cecil was internally screaming. Why? Why did it have to be him everytime? Weren't there more than 20 other students in the class? Why chose him? He was also tired, okay. Despite his unwillingness, Cecil stood up from his seat and answered, "Yes, teacher."

After Cecil sat down, Noah asked, "You actually don't want to be CR, right?"

"Yeah. It's troublesome and I have to handle everything alone. It's really boring and hard."

Noah looked at Cecils' side profile for a while and pinched his nose. He really like Cecils' cute, small nose. He then stood up and said, "Excuse-me, teacher. There are many students in our class and it will be hard for Cecil to manage everything alone. Why don't I be vice-representative? It will be easier if there are two persons."

Ms Jenny thought for a while and said,"Ummm... that's reasonable too. Do you have any problem with this idea, Cecil?"

I mean, how could Cecil push away the chance he got to be with Noah deliberately? They would be together for most of the time now. He really was feeling pleasant. Today might be his best day. Was today the lucky day for sagittarius? He had forgotten to look at todays' horoscope.

"Okay from today, Cecil Redfox will be the class representative and our new student, Noah Kelly will be the vice-representative."

It was already lunch break. Cecil was sitting together with Katherine and Samaira in the cafeteria eating his lunch. Noah was sitting on the next corner with Aaron and Marcus.

"You got 2 steps ahead of me, Cecil. I am really unhappy as your rival." Katherine said gloomily.

"I must work harder than you." Cecil said.

"Why?"

"Because I am a boy. You have got more and better chances than me. I really have low confidence in this matter. I don't even know if Noah likes boys or not."

"It's okay. If Noah really likes you, then gender really won't matter." Samaira assured Cecil.

"But still what if he finds me disgusting after knowing I like him? Maybe he won't even talk with me."

"Stop these depressing talks. We'll see that later on. You haven't even tried yet, Don't give up before trying." Samaira said hugging Cecils' shoulder.

Meanwhile at the next corner, Noah was eating his lunch when he saw Samaira hugging Cecil. He twitched his eyebrows and asked, "Are Samaira and Cecil together?"

"No." Aaron answered looking at the same direction.

"Then why is Samaira always hugging and being touchy with Cecil? And why is he always surrounded by those two girls?"

Marcus looked at them and said, "Ah! They are the best friends. He is basically the baby of that trio."

Noah laughed and said, "Haha.....with that small body, he really looks like their brother."

"Ho-Ho!!!! Do you like Katherine or Samaira?" Aaron asked teasingly.

"Why?" Noah got confused after hearing that question.

"Why!? Dude, you have been staring at that table since the start of the lunch break. Don't tell me that you were staring at their lunch. Tell us honestly, who do you like or more importantly which one is your crush between those two girls?" Aaron shouted.

Noah showed a smile which was also not a smile and said, "Why don't you both tell me yours first? Then I'll tell mine."

"Okay. I have crush on Katherine. She is really beautiful and cheerful." Marcus said blushing.

"Hmmm.... I like Samaira more between them. Most of time she is silent but easy to talk with. If I have to talk about my crush then I like Rossane. She's really cute." Aaron said.

Then both of them looked at Noah with eager expression waiting for his answer. Noah was silent for a while and said, "Well..... I don't have a crush on both of them."

Aaron jumped from his seat and shouted, "What!? You fooled us!!!!!"

Noah laughed sinisterly and said, "But I definitely have a crush on somebody from our class."

"Who?" Aaron and Marcus asked together.

Noah then ate his lunch glancing at Cecil from the corner of his eyes and answered,

"I'll tell both of you another time."
