3 3) NEW BOY

"Please come in."

Everyone was looking at the door with anticipation. The classroom door opened and the tall guy with blonde hair entered inside the classroom. Those sharp green eyes with high nose made him look like a prince from fairy tales. The blonde guy stood in front of the class carrying his bag. When Cecil saw him, his brain was exploded with different colours. His silent heart was beating loudly. He didn't even have to look at the state of other girls in the class. Their eyes were full of heart emoji.

Then the new blonde guy started introducing himself.

"Hi, everyone. My name is Noah Kelly. I am fourteen years old. I used to live in city B but we recently transferred here. I hope to be friends with all of you."

After Noah spoke, all the girls started shouting. Although Noah was fourteen, he kinda had a husky voice which was the weak point of every girls. Even Cecil himself was attracted. The girls were beaming with happiness when they finally got a hot boy in their class while the boys had a normal reaction.

Cecil also didn't know himself what he was feeling. Was it the legendary love at first sight? Was it just a crush? But one thing was sure, he was attracted towards Noah. He didn't think he was gay before. It was his first time being attracted towards the same gender. Before that he thought he liked the first girl of the class, Aerial Lynx. But what he felt towards Aerial and what he felt towards Noah was totally different.

Cecil wanted to talk to him but he couldn't because of his personality. He belonged to the silent type while Noah looked like the one who was frank with everyone. But still he wanted to befriend Noah.

Noah felt like someone staring at him intensely and looked at that person. He was always used to being glared and stared by delinquents and bad guys of the class. But to his surprise, he saw a cute boy with spectacles sitting near the window staring at him. He looked quite harmless. Noah also made eye contact with him and smiled.

Cecil was shocked and immediately lowered his head when Noah smiled looking at him directly. Was he staring too much? Did they just had eye contact? Did Noah just smiled at him? His head was full of those questions and his face was becoming red.

After Noah introduced himself, Ms Jenny made him sit on the last bench. Cecil was still lost in his world when Katherine elbowed him. He looked at her and asked, "What?"

"Did you see that new boy? He's so handsome !"

Cecil also nodded his head and said, "Yes."

Samaira looked at Cecil surprisingly and asked, "What?! Are you attracted to him? You normally don't pay any attention to the new students and your classmates. Don't tell me !!! Is it love at first sight?!"

Cecil blushed and answered, "I also don't know. I just find him attractive."

"Are you gay?" Katherine directly asked raising her eyebrows. Cecil had never shown interest in any girls before, don't even talk about a boy.

Cecil thought for a while and replied, "No. I am only attracted to him. I don't like other boys from our class. I only like Noah."

Both Samaira and Katherine were silent. Katherine sighed and said, "Then we are rivals in love too."

"Are you interested in Noah too?" Samaira asked.

"Yeah. Cecil and I are rivals in love starting from today besides being best friends. Do your best, Cecil." Katherine answered.

"Um. Same to you."

"What about you, Samaira? Aren't you interested in Noah?" Katherine asked.

"Hmmm... I don't know. He is okay, I guess." Samaira replied. Then she looked at Cecil and asked, "Cecil, weren't you interested in Aerial?"

"I have no idea myself. It was not like I loved her. I just found her good like reading partners." Cecil answered honestly.

Katherine chuckled and said, "Of course, she is just your reading partner. Aerial is first in class while you are second. Every time you both used to stay cooped up in the library."

Cecil raised his spectacles on his nose with his index finger and said, "Let's stop talking about her now."

"Yeah. You only have Noah in your heart now." Samaira teased Cecil.

"Ahem!!! Students on the third bench. Please concentrate in your class."

Cecil, Samaira and Katherine answered in unison.

"Yes, ma'am."
