14 14) MISSING HIM

There was a huge fight inside the boy's restroom, Noah vs four seniors. It was a matter of fact that Noah couldn't deal with those seniors. He was just screaming and punching those seniors like a madman.

"You shits!! How dare you say that about Cecil?"

"I'll kill you."

"Go to hell."

The next moment when Cecil met Noah, Noah was full of wounds and bruises on his face and body. Seeing Noah's bad state, Cecil felt like he was the one who had been hurt. He was sure that Noah wouldn't be able to participate in a running race. He immediately rushed towards Noah and put Noah's right arm on his shoulder.

"What happened to you? Who did this to you? How did this happen?"

Noah smiled and said, "It's nothing big. I just had some arguments with seniors."

Cecil knew Noah would never fight without any reason. If Noah didn't want to tell him then he wouldn't ask but he was still worried.

"What if teachers discovered?"

Noah laughed and said, "It's okay, they won't discover. None was there when we were fighting."

Cecil looked down and didn't say anything. How could Noah still laugh? Then he took Noah to the infirmary and took out the first aid kit from the shelves as the teacher wasn't present there. He started applying for medicines on the wounded area and wrapped a bandage around it. He also applied for medicines on Noah's face especially on the corner of his lips... Cecil was worried so much like it was him who had received such wounds. Cecil was almost about to cry. He didn't like seeing Noah hurt at all. Noah should always be healthy and cheerful.

Noah looked at Cecil who was about to cry and asked, "Why do you look like you're the one who got beaten?"

Cecil was in a worried state so, without thinking anything he just blurted, "It would have been much better if I was in your place. Anyways why did you want to fight with those seniors?"

Noah's ear automatically filtered out the last question and just heard the first sentence. He looked at Cecil and asked, "Why do you want to be in my place?"

Cecil then realized what he had just said. He blushed and answered, "It's just that I was worried about you. You can't participate in the running race now."

Noah chuckled seeing Cecil's flustered expression. Of course, he wouldn't want Cecil's cute face to be damaged looking black and blue. He also felt sad listening to Cecil's answer and said, "It's okay. I can just cancel my name."

Cecil then sat beside Noah and asked," You still haven't told me why you fought with them?" Cecil hoped that Noah would share his problems with him too.

"Those seniors were badmouthing you. I couldn't control my temper so, I just barged in and punched them."

Cecil didn't know if he should be happy or sad. He was happy that Noah had fought for him. It meant that he might have an important place in Noah's heart, right. He was also sad because Noah got wounded because of him and couldn't participate in the game.

"You shouldn't have minded those seniors words. Just let them say what they like."

Noah looked at Cecil and said, "But I don't like it when somebody says bad things about you."

Cecil and Noah looked at each other for a while and smiled.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The sports week ended just like that. Cecil had participated in a chess competition, singing competition and art competition. He won third place in the chess competition, first place in the singing and art competition. Noah had got the first position I'm basketball competition and got second in soccer because of his wounds. Katherine got second in the table tennis competition but won none of the other competitions she had participated in. Samaira got third in the debate competition. They were awarded medals on the last day of the sports week which was also a closing ceremony. Then, the school gave a week holiday for the students and teachers to rest.

On this holiday, as usual, Samaira went out of the city. Noah stayed at home. Katherine also didn't go anywhere but sometimes visited Cecil. Cecil also stayed at home. He didn't have a cell phone so, he had no way of contacting his friends. He also wanted to know how Noah was. He just knew Noah lived in the next part of the city. Cecil's home was in the east while Noah's was in the west.

During this holiday, Cecil spent most of his time reading, painting and helping his mom. Sometimes when Katherine came they would visit the nearby park. It was just that he was really beginning to miss Noah. He was just wishing that the holiday would end soon so he could see Noah again.

It was already Friday. It was around 5 pm when Bella asked Cecil to go to the supermarket to buy vegetables for the dinner. The supermarket was twenty minutes away from his home. He just wore a casual hoodie and half pants and went out.

After he finished buying vegetables, he looked at his watch. It was already 5:45 pm. He was on the way back to his home when someone patted his shoulder from behind. Cecil knew who that was and his heart began to beat loudly. A natural smiled formed on his face. Behind him, Cecil could hear the voice he loved the most calling his name.

"Hey, Cecil."
