13 13) RUMOURS AND ANGER

The weather was warm and gentle. It was afternoon and the cold air was blowing as if the winter was around somewhere. The two figures under the tree looked so beautiful like it was out of the world. The boy with the blonde hair was lying on the lap of the messy black hair boy without the care of the world. The black hair boy was looking gently and lovingly at the laid blonde hair boy. The afternoon sun was enveloping their body. Passing by students were looking at them and whispering at each other but they dared not to disturb that beautiful scene.

"Look! Aren't they Noah and Cecil?"

"I had heard they are really close but today I got to see it. Lucky day."

"What a beautiful friendship."

"But why do I feel like there is gay air surrounding them?"

"They look so cute and adorable together."

Those were the words of some girls who were rotten to the core.

"Hey! Don't say Noah is gay."

The two groups of girls were already fighting with words. Katherine and Samaira were also nearby them. Hearing the commotion, they both went towards them. But they were both thunder stroke seeing the scene in front of them.

"No, they aren't together. Noah is just resting." One of the girl standing next to Katherine answered.

"But they look perfect with each other." Again the verbal fight was sparked.

Rumours immediately spread in the school. There were rumours like Noah was gay. Noah and Cecil were dating. Some students believed it while some didn't. Most of the supporting students were girls and some boys too. The other boys were happy that there was one less guy to compete for beautiful girls. Cecil naturally didn't talk with girls while Noah was popular among girls.

But the girls felt like their dreams were crushed. Noah's girls classmates were devastated. They didn't want Noah to be gay. They had just got one hot and handsome guy. Why was heaven playing with their fate? Was it some cruel joke? Why were all hot guys either taken or gay? They just wanted to kneel down and cry.

Of course, Noah and Cecil got aware of those rumours too. How did it suddenly start. They had just sat down together afternoon and now it was already spreading around the school. How? Cecil was really worried while Noah was relaxed. Noah also assured Cecil not to mind those rumours. They knew the real truth and didn't need to listen to what others say.

Next day at school before Noah's running race started he went to the restroom. As he was about to enter the restroom, he heard some students gossiping about them. He just stood outside to eavesdrop them and he also didn't know who they were.

"I heard that our juniors, Cecil and Noah are gays and are dating."
