11 11) A SONG FOR YOU

Cecil was standing on the stage in front of everyone holding a microphone on his hand. Everyone was looking at him waiting for him to sing. The lights on the stage got dim only focusing on Cecil. The bright white light fell on him. Cecil brought a microphone near his mouth and started to sing.

I hung up the phone tonight, Something happened for the first time, deep inside It was a rush, what a rush

It was a song called 'Crush' by David Archuleta.

Cecil's voice had a kind of charm that could make everyone relax. He had a soft and soothing voice which could make everyone hypnotized. All of them were in deep thoughts about their crush and their feelings when Cecil was singing. It was like they themselves were calling out to their crushes to say those feelings. They all were still so deep in trance that they didn't realize when the song was over until someone finally clapped.

That someone was definitely Noah. Noah was the same as them. He was just staring at the boy on the stage. The boy on the stage looked as mesmerizing when he was singing. He felt like Cecil was singing that song to him. Was Cecil always that beautiful? Was that the same cute boy he knew?

After that Noah turned to Aaron and asked, "Does Cecil had crush on somebody?'

Aaron answered, "I don't know. He is always busy reading. I can't even imagine him having a crush on somebody except his books."

Marcus spoke in middle. "But I heard he has a crush on Aerial."

Listening that answer, Noah's expression immediately darkened. He didn't know why but he didn't like that. What was this feeling?

"Ariel?! Then they would be a perfect pair. Both of them are nerds. Hahahahaha.........."

They stopped laughing when they saw Noah's dark face.

"What??"

"Nothing."

Noah walked out leaving them. He was feeling irritated. He hadn't liked Cecil avoiding him and now he didn't like the feeling of Cecil having crush on somebody. Why was that?

Cecil came out of the hall and wanted to see Noah but he was nowhere. His head dropped like a puppy who was abandoned by their master. Katherine came and hit on his back.

"Why are you in so low spirit? If you're worried about the competition, don't worry. You'll be the winner."

"Yeah. You'll win." Samaira also added.

"You may also win, Katherine." Cecil said.

"Maybe I'll be second. You ended the competition with a bomb. I definitely can't survive that. And Noah was also there." Katherine teased Cecil.

"What? Noah was also there?" Samaira asked being surprised.

"Of course. He came to see our dear Cecil." Katherine teased even more. After that it was only Cecil and Katherine talking, Samaira was silently listening to them. None knew what she was thinking.

It was already 11 am. There was a table tennis match so, they went together with Samaira who was participating in that competition.

After that match, Cecil with his friends walked towards the basketball court. The players were already getting ready. Cecil and his friends sat together. Noah came to look at his competition so, he should also come and cheer him.

The final match was between Black Panthers and White Fox. White Fox had won their previous game against Red Jackals. This time, Noah was obviously the centre of the attention. All the players were surrounding him. All the girls were also there to see and cheer Noah. Those who didn't like sports also came to cheer Noah after the previous game. Their friends had boasted about Noah and said they were unlucky for missing that game. And now they definitely couldn't miss watching Noah playing basketball, okay. They were satisfied now.

Noah turned at the crowd of Black Panthers supporters and saw Cecil at the centre. His low spirit immediately rose up after seeing Cecil. He must increase the affection point of Cecil towards him. He should win against that Aerial. Except studying, he was good at everything. He was better than Aerial, alright.

If Cecil really wanted to have a crush then it should be him and him alone.
