1 FIRST

"LISAAAAAAA" shouted Mrs Ang, Lisa's aunty. Lisa rushed out of her bed and stepped out of her bedroom. Mrs Ang stood there with an unsatisfied look on her face. Lisa asked in a sleepy tone "what is it?" while rubbing her tired eyes. "You are late for school, you wanna be late on your first day of school?!" scolded Mrs Ang. Then it hit Lisa that its her first day of school. She saw the time and quickly get ready for school. Within 5 minutes, Lisa was out of the house running to her school which will take another 5 minutes.

Finally she reached school, thank god she wasn't late or else it would be her first detention in her life. As usual, some naughty students will call Lisa out for fun as she walk through the hallway. She is known as "Lisa the egghead". At first she'll get hurt by it and cry to sleep every night but after a while she got used to it.

Lisa sat at her place in class. She had no friends. Seriously, zero friends. Everything needed for the first lesson were set up and organised on Lisa's table. Her pencils,erasers,pens and books were neatly put as Lisa has an OCD (obsessive compulsory disorder) issue. Then, Miss Song entered the class carrying a long cane. She is very very very very scary. Nobody dared to mess with her. Once a kid named Seung Woo talk back at her and what he recieved was the most horrible punishment the students have ever seen. She caned the boy's hand 5 times, reported him to the Headmistress as she was a close friend of hers and the boy was immediately expelled. It was a nerve wrecking situation which made the students afraid of being expelled plus getting caned by that long wooden cane of hers.

After greeting Miss Song, an unfamiliar looking boy who was pretty handsome came into the class. No one knew him. Miss Song introduced him to the class, stating out that he's the new kid from Bodwell High School in Canada. He came all the way to Korea because his mom got a job here. Korea is where he was born but due to some personal stuff, he had to fly all the way to Canada but now he has returned. "Hey guys, my name is Lee Jai Hyuk but you can call me Jay. Nice to meet you guys". The boy had an accent when he spoke in Korean because although he was born in Korea but he was raised in Canada at a very young age. Jay looked for a sit that was still available. After scanning through, he found one right beside Lisa. No one sits with Lisa cause in their eyes, she's a nobody. Just a lame loser. So, everyone was surprised when Jay took a sit beside her. It was obvious that some girls were staring at Jay's handsome natural looking face. He even owns a charismatic look which made the girls go even more crazy for him. When he sat beside Lisa, Lisa got a bit shy and covered a face with a book, pretending to read it. "Are you gonna cover that face of yours till the end of the lesson?" asked Jay in a sarcastic tone. Lisa replied "Um no, hi I'm Lisa. Nice to meet you", holding out a hand so that both of them can shake hands. Jay just nodded and continued learning. Lisa put her hand back down looking embarrassed. She turned red and thought that he may be nice to her which she thought wrong. She just brushed it off and focused on the blackboard.

*RIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNGGGGGGG*

The alarm rang alerting the students that it is now recess time. Everyone packed their things and ran out to the school cafeteria. Lisa was the first to line up to take her food but everyone was pushing her so she ended up at the last of the line. Coincidentally, in front of her was Jay. "Poor egghead got pushed behind" said Jay while giving her a small smirk. Lisa is used to being called an "egghead" but she wondered where he heard it from and for some reason when Jay said it, Lisa got upset and very angry. Not wanting to make a scene she just lowered her head. After a while, Lisa finally recieved her lunch food. She sat at a corner where no one can see her. Jay sat opposite of Lisa's table where other girls were crowding him trying to get his attention.

Recess finally ended. Everyone got back to their classes and continued with their lessons.

*RIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNGGGGG*

School ended.

Everyone rushed out of their classrooms happily to go home. While Lisa is going out of the classroom, Jay walked quickly passed her pushing her purposely which caused all the books she was carrying to fall onto the ground. Jay looked down and saw Lisa sobbing while looking at something. Jay wondered whats the thing that made her cry suddenly.
