11 Meeting the childhood enemy

"Oh my god! Finally you two arrived. We were waiting for both of you for a long time. We were really worried about you too because of the delay.", said Selina while hugging Merry in relief voice.

"I am so sorry for the delay... Because of us, you got to worry... And thank you so much for coming to pick up us as Johnathan was still busy with our new apartment here... By the way, you are still looking the same as before...", said Merry cheerfully.

[Selina, Reo, and Merry were classmates and both Merry and Selina were best friends since the young and also were schoolmates and university mates with Alora's parents. Because of Selina's moving out both of them had a communication gap but their friendship is still the same till now]

"Merry, it's just nothing, my dear. When Johnathan called Reo and me to pick you up along with Alora from the airport, I was so happy to fetch you two...", said Selina happily and by looking at Alora she added, " Oh my god! Is this our baby Alora??? She has grown up a lot into a beautiful young lady. In the first place, I couldn't recognize her. Oh, my dear, you look so beautiful. Welcome to Japan, my baby... I am so happy to see you... Did you recognize me, your Aunt Sea???", Selina said while hugging Alora happily.

It was the first time she met Alora after growing up. When last time she met Alora, she was only a little girl of 3 years and due to busyness she then didn't get an opportunity to meet her again.

Alora smiled shyly and said, "Thank you, Aunt Sea. Of course, I could recognize you." Alora used to call her Aunt Sea when she was younger.

"By the way Selina, who is this handsome boy standing behind you with Reo??? Is he, our little Evan???", said Merry curiously.

"Yes, he is our Evan. Your little prince charming who used to tail around you whenever met us before.", said Selina happily.

"Oh my goodness I couldn't recognize my little prince... He has grown so tall and becomes so handsome. My lovely boy. Didn't you miss me in these years???", said Merry while pulling Evan's cheeks by smiling.

"Of course, I did miss you, Aunt Merry.", said Evan while smiling and touching his cheeks.

"And Reo, you haven't changed at all. Still the same as before smiling shy fellow.", said Merry in a teasing voice.

"Oh, Merry there is nothing like that... You are also still the same as before who likes to pull my leg always.", said Reo in a teasing voice.

"Humph, see Selina your boyfriend... I mean your husband always feels jealous of me and pulls my leg...", said Merry in a complaining voice.

While they were busy with pulling each others legs, Selina said to both Evan and Alora by seeing them wearing shocked expression on their faces at Reo and Merry's argument, "I know that you two are so shocked to see them like this way as this is the first time you guys see them like this. They are like this from our childhood."

"Are you serious???", both Evan and Alora said in exclaimed voice.

"Hmm, I know both of you are shocked to hear this but this is the truth. As you two know we all grow up together and from that time to now these two always used to feel insecure about me and was jealous of one another and always used to compete for me with one another by pulling their legs. So, don't worry... I will handle them."

"Oh no... Merry and Reo, are both of you still the teenagers??? What you two sit to argue about like babies??? That too in front of kids.", Selina said in a teasing voice.

"Humph, it's not me. It's your darling boyfriend who became your husband now and stole my best friend???", said Merry while complaining.

"NO, no... Darling, I am not... It was Merry as always who is pulling my leg.", said Reo while sticking his tongue out to Merry.

"Ok... Ufff... Stop you too now. See how our kids are looking at you. They are so shocked that if you two continue further they won't be able to sleep tonight.", said Selina in a teasing voice.

"Ok... Fine... We are stopping it for now. But we will continue this after going home.", said both Merry and Reo in a promising voice like they were going to each one another if they got the opportunity.

"Hmm... Good. So, let's go home now. Reo, call the driver to the exit gate and Evan, help Alora and Merry with their hand luggage.", said Selina while bossing around.

Both Reo and Evan nodded obediently to Selina like the cubs fearing to the tigress. After Reo called the driver to the gate, then Evan helped Alora and Merry with their hand luggage by taking them with him. Merry and Selina were busy in chit-chatting while walking with them and Evan along with Alora were walking after Reo with the luggage.

For both Alora and Evan, the situation was a little awkward as they met each other after so many years and they were confused about how to have a conversation with one another as the childhood enemies who met after so many years or as lovely cousins who met after ages. So, they decided to exchange smiles and be silent for the moment as they could talk after reaching home peacefully as the way they wanted. And at the same time, they could feel the pressure of someone's burning out of jealousy and sorrows because both his wife and her best friend kicked him to the corner for chit chat with each other while ignoring him.

After their driver's arrival, they put the luggage into the car boot with the help of the driver. Reo sat in the front with the driver while Merry and Selina along with Alora and Evan sat in the back seats.

After getting in the car also both Merry and Selina were busy with their chit-chatting and Reo was busy with the business call while Evan was busy playing with his phone, Alora fell asleep by hugging the puppy teddy given by Merry as she was so tired after such a long journey that she couldn't keep her eyes opened till they reached home though she wanted to enjoy the beauty of the roadsides and the nature while heading to their home.
