17 The Ex Girlfriend (1)

It was around 8 p.m. August reached Charlotte house in no time as it was not so far from his house.

He stood in front of a large contemporary house. It was brown in colour. Just by a quick glance, anyone can tell that it was very luxurious and spacious. Even the gate and the walls were so protective that no one would be able to enter without permission. In front of the main foor was a small yet alluring fountain. It looks like a palace.

August press the door bell and the gate opened right away. As he entered the house, he saw Charlotte sitting all alone at the main room.

Charlotte was wearing a blue frock which was just above her knees. Her long black hair was untied which covered her shoulders upto her breasts. Her blue eyes were so beautiful, like a fairy.

August didn't even flinched a bit as he saw the perfect beauty who was sitting right before his eyes, eagerly waiting for him.

He slowly approached her. Charlotte looked around excitedly as soon as she heard the footsteps. She smiled happily yet gracefully as she saw August. She ran towards August and suddenly hugged him.

"I'm scared that you might not come to see me. Thank you." She whispered, her voice as sweet as honey.

Even though a beautiful and attractive girl hugged him dearly, August just stood still. He was so far from hugging her back. He didn't even laid his eyes on her.

Charlotte placed her hand on his chest and rolled her hand down his body. "I really missed you." She whispered again, giving him her best seductive look that no man would be able to refused.

Her seductive eyes were looking at him straight into the eyes. Her strong yet sweet scent was all over the air. She caressed his upper body with her soft and beautiful hands.

August suddenly grabbed her hand and put it down. He was a bit harsh. "You have no right to touch me now. I'm not yours anymore!" He stared at her with his cold eyes.

Though Charlotte had a fragile heart, she tried to maintained her composure. She almost laughed at what he said. "I'm not yours anymore? Have you ever been only mine, for atleast a day?" She thought to herself. She barely maintained her calmness because she wanted him back so much. She didn't want to ruin what seems to be her only chance.

She let him sit down and smiled. "Give me a minute."

August was a bit amazed by her actions. As far as he know, she was always weak and fragile. How come she behaved like this? Can people suddenly changed? He stared at her with confusion as she left the room.

Charlotte came back to the main room after a minute, with a bottle of wine and a wine glasses on her hands. Once again, August was filled with amazement.

Minors were not allowed to drink but it does not stopped August from consuming alcohol. From the age of 8, he saw his father drinking everyday. Their refrigerator was always filled with different types of alcoholic drinks. He too started drinking from a young age of 13. But unlike his father, he knows his limit well. He rarely gets drunk.

Charlotte smiled sweetly at August, who was staring at her with amazement. She sat beside him. He felt his jaw dropped as soon as he noticed that she was holding two wine glass, rather than a single glass.

It's true that August often drank when he visited Charlotte's house. But he always drank alone. He still remembered very clear that Charlotte never consumed any types of alcohol. What's going with her? It's been only two months after their break up. How can she changed so much?

Charlotte opened the wine bottle and poured it on both the two glasses. August was still staring at her. She raised one of the glass and gestured August to take it.

"What exactly are you doing?" August asked, again with a cold voice.

"I just want to have a drink with you." Charlotte said in a calm voice, lowering the wine glass on her hand.

"But you never drink before!" August raised his voice. He was displeased at her.

Charlotte ignored August words. Once again, she raised the glass of wine, trying to took a sip of it. But before the glass reached her lips, August took the glass from her hands and he consumed it all in one time.

"I asked you what exactly are you doing?" August repeated himself. He was full of anger and his eyes staring at her were fierce.

"Why? Are you worrying about me? You don't have to. I already started drinking a month ago. I'm used to it." Charlotte simply answered with a small smile.

Charlotte words were like a thunderstruck for August. In his mind, he recalled how innocent and pure Charlotte used to be. Though she was popular among boys, she never disgraced herself. She always lived with pride and dignity.

August looked at the strange girl sitting next to him. He didn't saw any similarities between the girl on his mind and the girl who was sitting next to him. He can't believed his eyes and ears.

What's wrong with her? Why did she changed her behaviour? August mind was flooded with questions.
