4 Safe house

Don't expect daily updates. I had chapters stocked up so you might get a chapter every two days, depending on how much stress and depression school wants to give me.

<Spiritual Prison>

"Akuma, I'm ready to accumulate more now." I said as I was floating in space now. Akuma appeared as a flaming face again.

"Alright. You know the procedure, so let's do this. With the amount today I should be able to speak to you in your head." He said.

I nodded and relaxed, followed the right breathing as before and waited for the pain. I didn't have to wait long as I felt the burning sensation in my chest again.

While this was going on I decided to spread the energy around this body while taking some in. Once again I started making tendrils out of the energy and slowly it flowed through my bones and veins onto my left arm.

Suddenly it stopped. The heat and pain was still building up in my chest letting me know I was still recovering energy, but I can accumulate it anymore.

"Wait!!" I yell desperately as I breathed out and grabbed my chest.

"What happened!!" Akuma's tone suddenly changed to worry as he looked at me.

"I can accumulate it anymore. It won't flow through my other arm." I explained as I looked at my left arm. My veins looked the same as when I first did it with my right arm, but they don't go bast the shoulder.

"Hmm, have you noticed any changes about your body?" He asked.

"Yeah, I'm stronger and faster. My brain also processes thing a bit faster, but nothing like my looks changed or anything." I explained to him.

"I see, then it's nothing serious. You body is at its limit right now. Meditate more and do more exercises, you also need to be healthy. This would allow your body to not block off the power. You should also try to target your pressure points when accumulating this energy." He informed me.

I nodded and when I opened my eyes I was back in the cave.

'Akuma?' I thought. He said that he would be able to communicate with me from my head, so he should answer.

{I can hear you. I can also see what you see.}

'That's good. I was planning on leaving to find an abandoned warehouse or something.'

{This forest seemed good enough. Why are you here in the first place?}

'When we first met and left your prison, I was in this forest. I don't know how I got here. I just assumed I was thrown out after they thought I was dead.'

{Tch!!}

'It's cool though. I'm gonna burn them and the town down to nothing.'

{Then let's hurry.}

I quickly climbed up a tall tree and looked at my surroundings. I was very flexible since I did a number of stretches before and after a workout so climbing and hoping from branches were easy thanks to my balance and flexibility.

I could see that there looked like it was a road a bit ahead. Well it only looked close because I could see far, but it was actually really far.

"How far though?" I muttered with a sigh. I jumped down the tree and landed nicely on the ground.

{In the human realm I think they would say it looked about 13 kilometers.}

"Eh, you know about that stuff?" I said shocked.

{I've spent some time in the human world before.}

"I see." I stretched and went into a sprint. I didn't get tunnel vision as I ran towards the roads. I didn't know my full speed, but I know I was fast.

It took me about five minutes to get to the road. There were cars on the road that were zooming by, but I saw them as if they were walking slowly. I zigzagged around some cars as I crossed the road.

I stopped for a moment and saw that I was on some highway exist. I don't even know where I was. Am I even in the same city?

{Follow the cars for now.}

I nodded and followed by the cars. I was hoping that they would lead to some open road with crossing lights and they did. From there I just stayed on roofs.

Even I know a kid like myself who still hasn't grown would look weird walking alone. Plus my clothes are all dirty.

Right now I was atop a grocery store. There were a lot of builds and stuff that sold different things, but there was nowhere for me to go as of yet.

"I think I'll wait till tonight and find somewhere to stay. For now I'll try to do what you said before. I have a question though, where are my pressure points?" I asked.

{Close your eyes and feel the energy in you chest. Instead of making tendrils make it sort of pulse, like a radar.}

I followed his instructions and the ball of energy made a pulse like my heart beat. It sent a wave of energy over my chest. I guess there wasn't enough energy for my whole body.

It's cool though. I was about to sort of inspect the inside of my body and I saw the veins that led to blocked points in my body, and some pressure points. I didn't know what those blocked parts were, but decided to focus on it later.

I sat down and started getting some tendrils of energy to flow into the two pressure points just below my collarbone and the other two on the outer part of my chest around my shoulders.

Instead of pain, the moment the energy flowed through my pressure points it felt like all the tension in my shoulders were released. My chest also felt like it loosened up even though it never felt tight.

I continued to do this till I felt my breathing get hot like I was breathing flames. I opened my eyes and saw that it was nighttime. I looked at my hands and saw a faint red glow.

"What's happening?" I asked.

{Your body was in a subconscious state of "overheating". It's when you start to expand your bodies capacity to get more energy.}

"Ohh, so should I accumulate more?"

{No, that would be too much and your body needs to adapt to what you have.}

"You're right, that was stupid." I said as I scratched my head. I looked at my hands again and saw that the faint light was gone. I looked out at the road that seemed to have went quiet.

I silently jumped down from the roof of the store and walked the streets. I've already been here for hours and haven't eaten, but I wasn't hungry.

I looked across the street and saw a clothing store, then I looked back at my clothes and smelt myself. Honestly I didn't care about stealing. I'm going to do what I have to do.

I ran across the street and around the building to the back. I made energy flow through my arm and to my hand as caught fire I put my hands on the brick wall and it started melting instantly.

I stepped through the hole in the wall and saw rows upon rows of clothes. The store was big, but the inside looks way bigger than it's supposed to. I walked around the store after looking at my clothes size seeing that they still fit and went over in that section.

I'm still like 5'1 so I'm short. I decided to just get a big bag and take a bunch of clothes I like. With my bag slung over my shoulder I looked up at some red dot and that's when I remembered.

Cameras.

I started getting worried. Of course if people came by and saw that a hole was in the wall and there was a lot of clothes missing that there was a burglar. Then I got an idea.

Just destroy the cameras.

With that idea in my head I sat my bag down and ran around the store and broke all of the cameras. Afterwards I picked up the bag and ran out of the hole I made.

'Akuma.'

{Hmm?}

'You were pretty quiet so I thought you left or something.'

{I can not leave you, I was just thinking about the future.}

'What do you mean?'

{After we get revenge what happens next?}

'I haven't thought about it. Let's just cross that road when we get there.'

After an hour or two of running around I was able to find what looked like an abandoned warehouse that had been under construction.

I went up some stairs that lead to an office and decided that I'd turn this place into my hideout. I sat my bag down on a desk and sat at the chair with a sigh.

"For now I'll use this as my hideout/safe house. I need to somehow get back on my feet." As I was thinking about what to do next as let myself relax and fall asleep.

<Next Day>

I woke up with a yawn and stretched. I could see the sunlight from the windows, so I knew it was morning. I looked at myself and sighed. I just changed my clothes into some shorts and a shirt I took.

'Akuma, is there a chance that I could go outside without being noticed too much?' There was no way I could just stay in here all day everyday. I needed to get food, more clothes, and I didn't want to stay locked up like before.

{There is a technique called Null Presence. It should take you a few months to learn, but if you practice good enough it should be a week or two.}

"How's it done?"

{You need to take deep, but quiet breathes in from your mouth. Then exhale slowly through your nose. Calm your heart beat as much as possible. When you walk you want to quietly put your hill down then make a smooth transition to the bottom of your foot then the ball. Practice that to basically erase your presence}

"This sounds more ninja like than I thought it would."

{It's a technique made by one of the Shinobi that came into the spiritual world}

I nodded and began practicing. For the next three weeks, I only went out at night, to get food, clothes, some basic supplies and things like deodorant, soap, and things for my hygiene.

I never liked being dirty. On the radios there was a lot of news about burglaries and theft around this place. While practicing I also took in some more energy, but the process has been slow. At most I can use my right arm to its fullest.
