5 Infernals

Honestly fuck people. I'm finna graduate early😒

*********************************************

I had mastered the use of Null Presence and was ready to leave. Obviously I wouldn't just open the warehouse doors and leave. After all this place is supposed to be abandoned, so the doors opening would put all of the attention on me, which is what I'm avoiding.

However, I could leave out of a broken window from the back. I left the office and climbed out of a window in the back and went around the warehouse and out of the gate and slowly started blinding in with everyone while hiding my presence.

As I was walking around there were people who stiffened up when I walked past them, but I kept my cool. Some people were glancing around, but in the end it seemed like no one noticed me.

What I was mainly looking for was a map of some sort or just something to let me know what city I'm in. The radio never said anything about the city I'm in, but talked a lot about these things people called Infernals.

People said that they were "lost souls" or "Damaged Souls". I didn't know what they were talking about, but they also said something about these people called the Fire Force.

I didn't really pay attention to that because I dozed off at some point, but I wanted more information on them as well. As I continued to look around I couldn't find any stores that looked to have anything I was looking for.

I sat on the edge of a roof as I looked at the people below me. They were all on phones. Some talking to people, some texting, some watching videos and others looked to just be scrolling through pictures that looked interesting.

"Technology has everything huh?" I muttered looking at peoples phones in a daze.

'Everything…what if it has some information I could use!?!' I thought as my eyes brighten up.

{I suggest you go for someone alone}

Akuma advised me. I nodded my head as I looked over the street. Eventually, I found a woman walking around an alley in some professional skirt.

I jumped from the right side of the street to the left and landed on a roof of the building she was going through. Suddenly two men came around the corner after her.

I looked at them in confusion. These two men looked completely different from how the girl looked. She seemed like she was going to some big time like when my parents left for work. While the men behind her looked like they were just going out to some corner store.

Suddenly the woman walked into a side door to the building that was across from me. The two men followed her and when the door completely opened I saw some colors flickering around and loud music.

"What's going on in there?" I asked myself lowly. I was cut off almost completely from the outside world and so I basically knew nothing that regular people do.

From the excited screams of people, the music and the colors it looked like there was fun in there. I jumped down from the building and landed quietly as I opened the door. The moment I did, a smell ran through my nose as I shut it again.

'What the hell is that!?' I thought as I looked at the door in disgust. How does it sound like people are having so much fun in a place that smells like that?

I covered my nose as I opened the door again and walked down a set of stairs. Once I got down there my eyes widened in shock at what I saw. It looked like those parties my sister used to describe.

I walked in as I looked around at all of the people who looked like they were having a good time. As I was looking around, I accidentally bumped into someone.

A man looked down at me and his smile faded away as it turned to hatred and disgust. My body started shaking a bit as more people around him looked at me with hatred.

Suddenly he raised his leg up like he was about to kick me and my hands went up instinctively as my eyes closed. After a few seconds of not feeling any pain I opened my eyes and saw that he was looking at me with a smirk as he went back to drinking and walked away.

My body started shaking as I looked at my hands. Wasn't situations like this the reason I wanted strength? Why didn't I use it? Why do people look at me like that anyway? What have I done?

Tears started streaming out of my eyes as I looked at the man that went to dance with some girl. My frustration turned to anger as I felt my right arm and hand start to heat up.

My veins started glowing red as smoke started coming off of my arm. I ran towards the man and pushed my hand onto his back and within seconds a stream of seething flames came out and burned the man, the woman, and the people in range of the fire.

People ran as they saw this while yelling but I didn't want any of them to leave. Swiping my hand from right to left a wave if flames flooded out of my hand and started burning everyone.

Smoke detectors, fire alarms, etc went off as people yelled in anguish and pain. I looked around at the scene I made and wiped my eyes.

"If people won't accept me then I won't accept people. No matter who or where they are!!" I said clenching my fist.

{We should leave.}

Akuma said as my eyes widened in realization. I ran back to the stairs and kicked the door off it's hinges as the smell of burning flesh flooded onto the streets.

Running up the building I jumped onto the roof and used all of my speed to get away from the area.

<Safe House>

(Third POV)

Getting into the warehouse from the back window, he went over to his room/office and sat in the chair. For a good while he sat there with his head leaned back and his eyes closed.

"Seems like I still couldn't get any information." He said with a heavy sigh.

{Having that reaction is normal, but the more of the world we see the more we can see that it needs to be burned down.}

"But what if other people are different?" Akushi asked as he looked at his hands.

{People in this world are the same. The more you venture out the more it becomes apparent to your mind.}

Akushi stayed silent as he sat in the chair. He didn't know if he even wanted to go back at and be around people or just to lock himself somewhere alone.

Then again he never actually wanted to be alone. It was more like he wanted someone with him, even if it was just one person. Although from what happened to him today it just made him even more determined to burn everything down!

'No, just the city!!' He hurriedly thought and shook his head.

"I think I'll spend the rest if the day accumulating spirit now." Akushi said as he sighed and closed his eyes. He reached his hand out and turned the radio on as the news was heard.

~Everyone is going wild over the video of golden flames that seems to not be going out no matter how much water is put onto it. It's speculated that the cause of this was an infernal, but one on this scale is almost unheard of…~

As the news continued on and on about this fire, it finally announced the district name. He was in Torigoe District and the Kawaguchi Metal Fittings Corporation had been trying to put the flame out for about 10 minutes now.

Akushi widened his eyes as he realized he finally knew what district he was in, but they went back to normal after wondering where it actually was.

He knows the name, but not it's actual location.

"Akuma, do you know where we are. Like on a map or something?" He asked.

{No, the last time I was in the human realm everything was different.}

"Oh." He sighed and sunk in his chair.

"I probably should have took someone's phone first or something before just burning and leaving." He muttered.

With nothing left to do he ate some snacks and went back to accumulating. Although he might not be able to give more energy to the rest of his body for a while he can start to accumulate more energy for when he does start spreading more energy around his body.
