15 014 THE SURPRISE PARTY
Every single one of her close friends were present including Miss White Head; who is Ji-Ro's girlfriend,Qi ming,Feng jiu and Ji-Ro himself.
Katherine was called Miss White Head by Fei Shuang and co because she is an English woman. She came to Beijing on a business trip and has stayed ever since she met Ji-Ro at a coffee shop. He volunteered to be her tour guide. She wore a green-long sleeve mini dress with red high heels. Her short blonde hair matched with her red lipstick which captured a-lot of attention. She looked at Fei Shuang with her dazzling sea-blue eyes.
The house was decorated simply with bouquet of flowers in a vase,some colorful balloons lying freely on the floor,some decorator candles and a few greeting cards on the side tables.
They'll approached over with flowers and gifts to greet her. Fei Shuang couldn't help but tear down with emotions. Only now did she realized what ZhenZhu has been lying and hiding about.
Angel who was sleeping comfortably on her lap, woke up due to the sudden noise around him and angrily barked continuously at the so-called strangers who got near them.
In an instant, everyone was stunned. Holding gifts and presents,her friends were a little bit displeased upon by the angry little pup, "Fei Fei since when did you get yourself a Shih Tzu [1]?"
Fei Shuang knew that Angel was insecure with people and would definitely cause trouble, so she immediately apologized, "I'm sorry, Angel isn't family with your faces and always end up being alert to his surroundings; and he's not my dog,he's ZhenZhu's... " She dropped him on the floor to play around the house.
"That's normal for every new dog."
"He's such a hottie tho!"
Her friends were dropping comments as they started to speak up, "We heard what happened to you and originally wanted to give you a visit but Ji-Ro suggestioned that we organize a surprise party at your place instead."
"I hope your injuries are completely healed."
"I hope so too, it's so good to have you back Fei Shuang."
"Once again, welcome home!"
Her friends gathered closer once more handing her the flowers and gifts. Ji-Ro walked closer as he pushes a new wheelchair to her direction. It was different from the one she was sitting on. He was an average height man with a sharp gaze. He was dressed in blue jeans and a white Shirt designed with black artistry.
"Is that a powered wheelchair? That must have cost a lot!" Qi Ming whispered to Feng Jiu.
Fei Shuang covered her face with her hands again which made the gifts fall on the floor. This time, she was crying so hard, "Thank you so much everyone for being like a family to me. I don't deserve any of this..." *boo hoo*
Ji-Ro immediately stood between the others and Fei Shuang as he slightly kneel in front of her, grabbing her hands away from her face and consoled her.
"It's alright Fei Fei. Cry no more, it's bad for your health. You deserve the world itself and need our attention now the most.
Just know that we'll always be there for you,always! So please, don't say such ever again."
The others also voiced out their opinions.
Fei Shuang opened her eyes and encounters Ji-Ro. Even on his knees he was tall enough to reach her height as she sat. He indeed was a handsome fella.
"OK."
Fei Shuang tries to hold back her tears but couldn't when ZhenZhu spoke, "Hey y'all, what did i miss?"
She entered dragging Fei Shuang's luggage.
Fei Shuang smiled as tears rolled down her cheeks, "Girlfriend.. *sob*..." she tries to speak but couldn't. ZhenZhu only lied because she didn't want to ruin their plans. She got her all wrong.
Ji-Ro retreated back to his original position beside Miss White Head.
"It's alright, I'm so sorry i lied to you. Please forgive me." ZhenZhu bite her lower lip to stop herself from crying. Suddenly,she gently lowered her back and wrapped her arms around Fei Shuang.
"I'm really sorry Fei Shuang.."
"No, don't be... I'm the one to say sorry... boo hoo."
Fei Shuang hugs her back. She could feel her calm breaths. From now on, she wasn't going to doubt her ever again,never! She was going to trust her bestie and treasure her much closer to her heart.

The party ended well without the house being turned upside down. The drinks ran out way faster, which made the party last shorter.
There was music, but not loud crazy fun because of Fei Shuang's condition.
Everyone was gone except for ZhenZhu, Ji-Ro and Miss White Head who decided to stay and help Fei Shuang clean out the little mess that was made. The room had empty bottles laid on the ground, waiting for someone to trip over them. ZhenZhu almost was a victim.
"Holy S**t!"
"Be careful girlfriend, don't fall and become empty and useless like these bottles and the person talking." Fei Shuang joked as she kept the gifts on the center table.
"Stop making fun of yourself lady, you're not what you say at all." Katherine reminded Fei Shuang that her condition was supposed to be temporarily. She placed the empty bottles into a polytene bag, "And Fei Fei you need to try this thing. I ordered it myself for you."
"What is it?" Fei Shuang questioned.
"It's Lavender herbal tea and oil."
"I've never heard of it before,what is it used for Miss White Head?" ZhenZhu asked out of curiosity.
"Well it's fo—" Katherine got interrupted by Ji-Ro who just came out from the restroom. "Fei Fei can i have a word with you?" He scratched his lower head at the back.
"Sure,spit it out." Fei Shuang responded in a nonchalant way.
"Emm Girlfriend, I think you should speak in private. Miss White Head and i will clean up the mess." ZhenZhu suggested.
"But—-"
Fei Shuang got cut off by Katherine, "No buts Fei Fei, trust me." she insisted.
Fei Shuang exhaled and spoke, "Fine then,shall we?"
"Sure."
The digital clock hung on the wall of the kitchen read '9:OO' when Ji-Ro pushed Fei Shuang into the room. Jiro reached to the refrigerator and pulling it open, "Do you want a drink?"
"No thanks, I'm good. What was is that you wanted to say in private?" Fei Shuang smiled with her hands folded. She was excited to know what he wanted to say to her.
Ji-Ro closed the fridge with a bottled water in his hand and leaned over the the table at the center of the kitchen. He hesitated for a moment then finally spoke, "i know you don't want to talk about the incident that happened between you and Caofeng but i also want to apologize on his behalf. I agree what he did was very wrong...
I.. iiii... i ...."
Fei Shuang looked a little bit upset as she said in a serious tone, "It's alright Ji-Ro, let's leave it all in the past. I know that'll never be able to forget him which leaves me with no choice but to cherish the little memories we made. I believe that memories are always special. Sometimes we laugh by remembering the days we cried. And we cry by remembering the days we laughed! That's life." Fei Shuang's voice held a sense of been wronged, "So please,don't talk about this ever again. To me,Caofeng is nothing but a beautiful mystery that I finally solved. Case closed!"
"Ok, I'll do as you wish. I bought you a powered wheelchair to make things easier for you. Watching you push the wheel all by yourself is hard, you deserve to have an indepent life. I know it's not much but.."
Fei Shuang smiled at him in response. "No it's fine. Thank you so much Ji-Ro ahh. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I wanted to tell you something too. I made up my mind, I'll be moving into ZhenZhu's house tonight."
"Pleasure is all mine. Alright, well i want you to have this.." Ji-Ro handed a white envelope which he just took out of his pocket to her, "Use it for your expenses until you recover."
"I can't accept it. I might be fired from work but that didn't made me broke. You've done more than enough Ji-Ro ahh.I'm sorry but this is too much. I decided to move houses only because i want to and not because i have to. I need to move on with my life."
"But—-"
"Please Ji-Ro,I'm really okay. Don't worry,i have enough money with me."
He breathed deeply and managed to flaunt a smile, "Fine then, just don't hesitate to call me if you need anything."
Fei Shuang shook her head. "You both must be tired. It's getting late,I suggest you go home now."
"Alright Fei Fei."

Outside, ZhenZhu and Fei Shuang accompanied Jiro and Miss White Head towards the car. Fei Shuang was already sitting on her new wheelchair. Katherine showed her how to use it. She was enjoying how she moves by simply directing her movement with the control stick.
"The way you're smiling like this tells me you're enjoying the new ride." Katherine spoke out of joy.
"Yes Miss White Head,i no longer require physical exertion to move all thanks to you both. Thanks again for helping me pack up my things,you sure know my things very well." She replied out of happiness.
"You're always welcome Fei Fei." They both answered at the same time.
ZhenZhu could only smile at their conversations.
"Fei Fei, you better return and rest. You have to take care of your body. Your health matters alot. Go now, we'll take it from her." Ji-Ro tried to send Fei Shuang back to the house.
"But why do— "
"Sweetheart is right, you need a lot of rest dear. Go on. I'm here for him." Katherine insisted too, "Come, ZhenZhu. Escort her back into the apartment."
ZhenZhu slightly nodded as her response.
"Fine. I'll go back now. Take care of yourselves ok? I will visit you next week." Fei Shuang smiled like a happy little girl.
"Alright, we'll come visit you before then. We love you." Katherine leaned over and kissed her by the cheeks.
"I love you too." She returned the kiss back.
Once again, Fei Shuang and ZhenZhu said goodbye to them both and went back to the apartment. When ZhenZhu closed the door after waving them goodbye one last time, Katherine asked, "How did it go? Did you tell her?"
