1 pm, broad daylight.

The hospital gave off it's usual dissatisfied smell. ZhenZhu entered the hospital, escorted by her new puppy she bought recently called 'angel'. Her wavy black hair matched her outstanding outfit. She wore a nice full-creamed short dress that exposed her straight thin legs with a maroon jacket to cover her arms and a long golden-chained, simple heart-shaped necklace hung on her neck.She walked elegantly in her maroon heels even tho her little pup would bark at the attendants and patients around the area bringing attention.

After arriving to Fei Shuang's room, ZhenZhu could see Doctor Xiao walking out of the room with his usual blank face. Nurse Pan was right behind him.

"You're here," he said as he looked up then down at the cute dog she was accompanied by; he was totally not in the mood to argue with her today.

"Hi ZhenZhu, what cutie do we have here?"

Pan Er added as she reached down for the puppy but immediately retreated after it almost bit her hand which startled her.

"Hi Nurse Pan, meet angel.... my new pup."

ZhenZhu answered, forcing herself not to laugh by smiling instead.

Doctor Xiao tried not to laugh at the incident but broke a smirk instead.

"Seems like we won't be good friends." Pan Er frowned as she stared at the angry little pup.

"Is she awake?" She asked nicely.

Pan Er nodded.

"Please go in,she's been waiting for your arrival all morning." Doctor Xiao replied in a serious tone and left to resume for his work. Pan Er left too after waving goodbye to ZhenZhu.

ZhenZhu laughed as she praised her little pup, "Nice one my little angel, too bad it wasn't Mr arrogance himself." She pats him on the head.

Later on, she pushed the door and walked into the room with the puppy as it wags it's tail. Seeing Fei Shuang all dressed up sitting patiently in bed with Miss Long holding her hands, she smiled, "Hi Miss Long,Girlfriend how're you all doing today?"

"I'm okay." Miss Long answered in an unhappy tone as she wiped her tears with a handkerchief.

ZhenZhu knew very well that Fei Shuang was a little bit upset with her for leaving earlier yesterday and not calling her back. She had thrown all the blame on her.

"I'm fine..." Fei Shuang frowned and hesitated for a moment then continued "the day has finally arrived, I've just been discharged by the hospital."

"Well that's great news!" ZhenZhu sighed in relief.

She has been waiting for this day for so long and atlas the time was here. From this day henceforth, she vowed to be there for her friend until her last breath.

"From now on,I'll only make things better for you Bestie. I'll remain your best friend and be your legs...."

Fei Shuang slowly exposed traces of a smile, she was not in the mood because she's been consoling Miss Long all morning not to worry too much for their departure. It wasn't like they would never see each other again...

"Thanks a lot Girlfriend, this is better than anything I'd wished for." She spoke with a soft voice then returned to Miss Long who was still shedding teardrops, "Miss Long,this is not our last farewell. In fact, we can both visit each other when we have the time and can have a video call at anytime. I hate to see you in this situation." Fei Shuang pats her hand with a sad face.

"I understand. In this case, this is were we say goodbye... Please be careful," miss Long tried not to cry no more as she looked back at ZhenZhu, "take good care of her."

"Cross my heart." ZhenZhu uses her index finger to illustrate.

"I promise I'll call you immediately I settle down... Promise me you won't cry again after I'm gone."

"I.. i promise." A slow smile appeared on Miss Long's face as her eyes curved. She helped ZhenZhu pick up the few things Fei Shuang had with her at the hospital.

Fei Shuang exchanged farewells with the neighboring patients she considered her friends and even a few nurses. She considered herself very lucky for having good times with everyone and it was time to set journey on her new start.

"Are you sure you don't want to live in your own place again?" ZhenZhu asked as she she drives them both to Fei Shuang's apartment.

"Yes, i want you to help me move houses. I've been thinking about it ever since i realized my life would never be the same. Besides, the year payment will be expiring in a few weeks and i wanna leave all memories behind. I've saved enough money to buy a new apartment." Fei Shuang shook her head in certainty.

"Alright then, but you'll have to stay with me. I promised Miss Long that I'd take care of you." ZhenZhu replied revealing one side of her face.

"It's ok for me, besides I've got a lot of things to say to you when i settle down."

Fei Shuang gently rub Angel's back who was sitting comfortably on her laps.

ZhenZhu stopped talking and focused her gaze on the road in front of her. Meanwhile, Fei Shuang was busy replying to the text messages her friends and colleagues have been sending to her ever since she had an accident. It was indeed tiring and tough to explain to each and everyone of them how the incident happened, but she tried her best to make them convinced.

Not long after, the two of them arrived at Fei Shuang's home. ZhenZhu first stepped out of the car and first brought down the wheelchair from the backseat, then assist Fei Shuang who was holding Angel sit on it.

"Why are the curtains down? I thought you said you cleaned up the house."

Fei Shuang asked as she looked at the transparent glass windows.

"Um.... I think i forget to lift them up after cleaning the house." ZhenZhu bit her lips as she pushes her towards the entrance of the apartment.

"I see." Fei Shuang replied. She knew well that ZhenZhu was lying because the curtains were supposed to remained closed if she really cleaned up the house. Leaving the curtains up would mean she forgot to close them down when she was in a hurry. What she didn't understand was why lie? For what reason?

She's been like this ever since the day Mr Shen visited her at the hospital.

ZhenZhu had already unlocked the door but decided not to open it insisting that she forgot about Fei Shuang's luggage in the car. She requested Fei Shuang to get into the apartment first while she fetches her belongings.

Immediately Fei Shuang entered the apartment, the light switch was turned on and was suprised by her friends, "Welcome home Fei Shuang!"

At first, Fei Shuang was extremely suprised, but not long after, she closed her eyes and cried out, "Oh my God, I can't believe this."
