5 005 YOU’RE SAFE NOW

Pan er was on her way out of the hospital building when someone called her name, "Pan er stop right there!" Huang jin managed to stop her,then continued.

"She's awake!" He buttoned his shirt as he was gasping for air.

His hair was unkept and his eyes were red.

"What do you mean? Who are you referring to? Don't tell me....?"

Pan Er opened her mouth wide.

He nod his head as a yes.

"The woman is awake, she scared the shit out of me earlier!" Huang jin responded as his whole body was soaked in sweat after running for a while.

Pan Er couldn't believe her ears. She felt like her heart was gauged out of her chest. Her face was in pale.

"Did....d-did you....do it?" She managed to speak.

"No,she opened her eyes when I reached for her hair." He explained holding her by the shoulder.

"Well.. That's.....that's.... a relief,as long as she doesn't remember anything before that then we're clean but, you better leave before anyone sees you." She exhaled.

Huang jin only nodded and left.

"I'd better go inform Doctor Xiao!"

Pan Er ran towards the elevator, her heart could not stop beating fast.

"I hope she doesn't say a word or else I'm doomed!" she screams in panic.

Pan Er kept on pressing the elevator button but it was still at the 10th floor. She was at the 1st floor.

Not able to wait anymore ,she ran towards the stairs.She ran as quick as she could as if her life depended on it.

She did stumbled a few times on the stairs before she safely arrived to the 4th floor.

Doctor Xiao was currently sitting in his office when Soo jin entered the room.He was a man in his mid thirties.

"Doctor Xiao! Doctor Xiao! ...Patient 101!...Patient 101 is finally awake!"

She was panting and sweating so hard.

Xiao Tian removed his medicated eye glasses, revealing a pair of dark brown eyes; his pupils shoned as he raised his head, "What?"

"Yes Doctor Xiao,Jane doe is wide awake!" She gasped for air.

"When?"

"I received the news just now..."

"You look like you've seen a ghost! Are you okay?" Xiao Tian asked while staring at her eyes.

"It's nothing, i just ran through the stairs to your office from the first floor."

"That's tough. Okay,lead the way!" He dropped the file he was holding and grabbed his stethoscope then stood up.

Room 606

Remembering how she ended up in the hospital, she cried bitterly.

Later on,she abruptly sat up, wanting to know what happened after she saw the bright light.

She tried to stand up but ended up falling down on the floor due to the sudden weight she felt on her legs.

"Ouch—" she massaged her head then noticed the door was opened. She lifted her head and saw a nurse and a doctor behind her.

Pan er quickly ran to assist her.She tried to raise her but Fei Shuang couldn't feel her legs, which made it more difficult to lift her up.

Doctor Xiao suddenly gave a hand to lift her up. Fei Shuang was back on bed when she realized a man was standing in front of her.

She swiftly moved backwards.

Pan er panicked thinking she might have recognized her.She opened her mouth to speak when Doctor Xiao interrupted,

"Don't be afraid,you're safe now!" Xiao Tian tries to comfort her. "You're at the general hospital in Beijing,I'm a doctor." He explained.

"What is your name?" He asked smiling.

"My name...my.....name is L-lee Fei Shuang. How did i end up here?" she answered in a very weak tone.

"Miss Fei Shuang you were brought in by the woman who hit you with her car. Your heart has already stopped beating but the medics were able to revive you inside the ambulance." He sat on the bed right next to her.

"She claimed you had no phone or an Identity card with you so we couldn't get to inform your family."He approached closer and used his stethoscope to monitor her heart beat.

"You had a slight cut on your skull as we found a blood clot in your backward lobe on your head and some broken ribs. You were miraculously saved but have been in coma for about two months!" He responded reaching for her forehead to examine her body temperature.

"Can you tell me more about yourself.....family and recent life?" He wanted to test if she has amnesia.

"I used to work at a plastic company before i was fired...*sob* *sob* I have no home and no family...*sob* *sob* to this world, I'm already dead... Boo~ hoo"

Like a lost child, Fei Shuang cried pitifully. She didn't want to tell the Doctor how her previous life had actually been.

"I'm sorry about your past Miss Fei Shuang but now you got to concentrate on your future. You being alive at this hour is a miracle." Pan er tried to comfort her.

"Do you feel any pain?" Xiao Tian asked.

Fei Shuang looked at her legs and felt like something snapped inside her head.

"I'm feeling a little bit dizzy.....i also can't feel my legs." She massaged her temples.

"I'll run some test now...how about you rest for a while. We'll discuss further tomorrow." He examined her body.

Fei Shuang weakly smiled and nodded, "Can you turn the lights off?"

Pan er nodded.

Both Doctor Xiao and Pan er head towards the door and gently closed it.

Fei Shuang closed her eyes and remembered Caofengs betrayal. Tears could only roll down her cheeks.

"I hope you find peace with the woman you love Caofeng."

She murmured to herself.

She remembered how she wrongly accused Li jing. If only she could find a way to ask for his forgiveness.

It was a cloudless night with moonlight reflecting from the window. Car horns could be heard from a distance and sounds from creatures.

Fei shuang managed to fall asleep.
