Prologue

"This press conference was held to announce how this organization has branches all over the world." In a large hill, a crowd of figures blurred by lights surrounded me only blocked off by a tall wooden stand.

People live their lives in tandem with one another, and those don't follow this logic have their legs bound to the Earth by karma.

"It's quite amazing that your business has influence around the world, but didn't the League of Nations declare that your business should be split up among your employees in order to respond quickly to events and remove the need of checking in with you when making a new decision. Will this really be beneficial for your company?"

A reporter's voice comes from one of the figures in front of the stand, while the lights start to flicker like a bright flame about to be snuffed. Suddenly my heart sank and something tugged at the edge of my mind.

"Of course, although this company has been separated into multiple entities, our motto hasn't changed so I don't disagree with League of Nations' decision."

"You know what I really mean."

Suddenly the lights disappear and my vision goes dark.

It means you failed yourself, in your own dreams.

Suddenly a cold chill covers my skin, as I lash out at the nearest thing, a buzzing alarm.

After a cracking noise, I pull my arm away, curling my body into a ball laying on my right side of the bed, as I realize where I am. My name is Eve Terrance, and this is my room where I hide in the warmth of my blanket. I'm one of the leaders of this world….

No who am I? I blankly stare at the roof above my head, a fear filling me as I try to remember my identity. I have to remember who I am, right? A blinding light cuts through a window behind me, causing me to twist to my left. If a window is what I first see upon awakening then am I-

Ah, I remember.

Struggling to get myself out of my bed, I survey my room, saddened by the messiness of my belongings, which are scattered everywhere. Walking to the door, I look out the room checking the two rooms connected by the hall, void of any life.

"Ah she did say yesterday she would have to leave early." I pack up a few supplies in my dark leather bag laying it near the door. I quickly dashed to the bathroom as light flashes on the doorknob behind me. Prepared and content, I start eating my breakfast.

"I really want to go back to sleep… Am I missing anything?" I ponder as I eat my breakfast, hoping to rush out quickly before the next bus comes. Finally, I step outside, putting on my backpack, before pushing the entrance door open.

Light blinds my eyes, as I take in the scenic view. Although a red car sat in front of the house, I could see houses spanning the road as far as my eyes could go till the entrance of the neighbourhood. Flowers and bushes also sat beside the homely structures suddenly having a hint of a red glow.

Red lightning flashes through the sky, as a figure seemingly flies behind it at a speed almost invisible to the naked eye. A water droplet lands on a flower's leaf, almost pulling the leaf off the stem of the flower, as a tear hits the ground.

Buildings stacked in a row, a nice garden, a faint glow in the air, and a bright summer, is this what one considers youth to be? I walk forward, without realizing for some reason my fist was crunched into a ball. Ah, I forgot to lock the door.

I flick the doorknob left and right like punching in a passcode, as the door glows a faint blue for a moment. AH! "I only have 5 minutes left till the bus comes!" I dash straightforward, taking a left immediately after passing the car, curving around the edge of a house, onto a grassy path lacking any sort of pavement.

Suddenly a girl appears to my left, disappearing in the next moment. Instinctively, my head flicks towards her figure, as I notice a large footprint on the ground. I throw my head up noticing a figure flying under the shine of the sun, like the legendary Apollo's Chariot.

"I know…. DAMN IT!" A scream echoes in the air, as birds chirp loudly before fluttering off, a faint red tinge in the air, as the sky seemingly darkens a little. A leaf is knocked off a flower, yet that flower will find its own way to bloom. This is a story of the dandelion who will dare to bloom and dwarf all others.
