"You okay, Lee?" Solar asked Emma, looking concerned.

"Of course. Why would I be bothered by idiots?" Emma clicked her tongue. 

"Yeah. That's my girl, er, friend." Solar corrected himself and then grinned. "So do you want to pair up and blow away the competition? We can win this thing easily."

"I see what you did there." Emma narrowed her eyes at him. "But what about Samu or my other guy classmates?"

Solar Blyze leaned down closer to her ear. "I turned them down. Besides, only weaklings would want to form a group to defend themselves."

"I don't like how you're implying that they're weak." Emma frowned at him. "They only need to study more and do well in class. You probably had early training while you were a kid to be a level seven aeromancer. The Blyze family can afford that."

"Ahem… you are wrong. I am not a level-seven aeromancer. I told you I don't have a level." Solar grinned when he replied to her words leisurely.
