On her bed, Prinah fall into deep sleep while the cold whistle of the wind, hissing of the streams and the rustling of the leaves in the surrounding creates a harmonious melody. The starry sky, the bright moon, the waving branches of the trees and the sounds of the nocturnal animals were seems her looker-on that night. Little by little, Prinah sees and feel the personality of her father. The things in her surrounding's implying what her father was.

Four in the morning, the red jungle fowl (feral chicken) roost and the lovely birds chirping and flying up in the trees to and fro preparing to search their food. The daybreak ambient sounds of the forest overlapped the noise's of the crickets, katydids and other night calling insects. The sun gradually rising and lit the light from the crown down to the floor of the forest.

Prinah slowly open her eyes when the sunlight filled the room. Looking at the ceiling while feeling the warm brought by the light she then whispers to herself.

"Thank God you're here, hope you'll find something new this day"

Prinah knows that it's just the beginning of her journey. She knows new things are yet to come. Although she didn't hear the voice of her father, his care and his appearance, but she believes the answer of her questions is found in that house.

"There is something in this place that I didn't know yet." Prinah curiously asks herself.

Prinah get up and fix her messy hair while sitting in bed, then she stretch her both arms side by side, lift her chin up and take a deep breath and exhale. Trying to reach the mug from the table, she accidentally drops it on the floor. Her jaw drop, her eyes widened while raising her eyebrow and both palm touches her face while looking the mug quickly touch the floor. But she was surprised that the mug wasn't broken instead she hears a hollow sound as the mug drop on the floor. She slowly uncovers the floor by taking up the mat and roll it. She knocks it with the knuckle of her middle finger and notice it is made of wood. While she knit her eye brows in curiosity she realizes that it is a secret door.Using her finger, she pull it through the hole in its side and it opens. She's shocked after discovering that there's a space beneath the floor. There are twenty steps that lead underground. She then gets the zippo (old lighter) and light the place and luckily found another gas lamp. She then quickly lit it.

"Wow, this is it what I'm talking about," Prinah smile as she checks the area, "Father thank you for leading me this far."

There is a table and a chair placed in the corner. The wall, ceiling and the flooring are well furnished as she turns her head in every side.

"Let's see what can we find her," she suspiciously investigating every corner of the secret underground.

Under the table she discovers a drawer and surprisingly as she pulls it, she found out a composition book that widened her eyes. She couldn't stop her tears when she saw the name 'Ramle' in the cover of the book, fully convincing her that's the name of her father. She's crying out in joy and widely open her mouth looking up the ceiling while holding the book in her both hands. Prinah feels like a treasure hunter as she found out the name. In a few moments she feels the calmness and sit down. She's excited and couldn't wait to open the book. And when she opens it there were phrases of words and sentences and rhymes. Each page has a date indicating that was the time when written. She couldn't identify whether it's a song or a poem, but the things that telling to her is its message. A piece of writing that captivates her attention saying:

"This is my hiding place"

This is the place where I can rest

Teaching myself to do my best

Like a bird that lay her egg in a nest

Will you be there to give the rest?

As I walk and follow the light

I realize as the beginning of might

Don't walk away from my sight

Then you teach me what is right

Do not think that I am alone

As I think over creating this tone

..."

The text did not continue then Prinah stop and asked herself, "What does this mean?" she suspects that her father is struggling what to do next. There were lines that were not finished, there were erasures and even tear up pages.

"I believe you came down her every time pouring out your feelings, I know there are things that you want to write, but you just want it to express it in a right way." Prinah express her feelings to her father.

"I know you were seeking something but you couldn't just do it, instead you run in this place to hide yourself because you don't want people to worry about you. I feel your heart when you go down in this place carrying your burden and in this book where you lay down everything you wanted to say."

Prinah cried out as she's thinking the condition of her father. The book tells her a lot of things and the pain that her father going through. Then she continues reading throughout the pages and read different styles of writings. He's writing about his suffering and the trials that he had passed through. It's difficult to imagine a man who withdraws himself and live in a solitary place. She understands that her father wants to do everything he wanted to do, but things just don't work out for him. She realized in the writings that her father loves to write songs and poems, but the condition of his mind seems to interrupt him preventing him to move on.
