2 Training start

Walking inside the shrine main grounds from the torii walkway there was a small fountain to the left and further down there where three building a living space, a dojo and the main temple which was a beautiful four story building with peeked roofs of dark green tiles and a golden spire at the top and four small cherry blossom saplings at the four corners, The the living space was a small square single story building to the right of the path leading to the temple that was built on stilts with only two rooms divided by a thin partition in the middle for a separate bedroom and sitting room with a few spare changes of cloths in the bedroom, it wasn't very luxurious but it was enough for one person to live in, the dojo on the other side of the path was a simpler building if not only i little bigger but inside was completely empty spare the mats on the floor, the whole shrine was on the side of a mountain covered in a forest of manly Japanese pine trees and a variate of different fruit trees.

3rd POV

after looking around the shrine for a few hours Yato took some rest before going into the dojo to start reading over the scroll on sword Technics, sitting in what he he thought to be his best seiza on instinct that he had never done before, he opened it as far as he can, which wasn't very far before it stopped leaving only the very basic sword stances and correct ways to grip his sword visible to read so he got started and read the whole the for about an hour the even though he felt like he wold remember the whole thing just fine he read it again front to back, back to front the whole day before he finely felt satisfied with his under stranding of the basics, getting up he left the dojo went to his room for the night so he could be well rested for the start of his training.

4 Months later

for the past four months Yato has got into his daily routine of waking up early (which he struggled to do at the start) stretching, picking fresh fruit form the trees along the edge of the shrine grounds to eat for breakfast at first light and then spend the whole do in the dojo perfecting his basic sword stance and basic sword strikes till night before going to meditate in the temple for a few hours, it was after the first few days he decided to try meditating and he found it very peaceful and helped with reviewing what he as been doing so far and also come to peace with his past life in these past few months, but he is far from perfect in his meditation and still finds it boring but he decided it was a good way to temper him self for his long life ahead of him as a god and cement his resolve for always putting in all his effort into his training and whatever else he dose in the future after mastering the sword, but that is a long ways of when he has only just started down that road, after two hours of meditation Yato leaves for his room to start all over again the next morning.

after four months of training the basics Yato is ready to move on in his sword Technic so he sits down in his dojo and opens his scroll again but this time it opens about three times further than the last time and he starts reading it for the next few hours before reading it again and again for the next two days to perfectly remember and understand as much as he can before starting his next round of self training, the subject this time was still basics but more focused on the sword draw and the transition between the different stance and grips and increasing the speed of each strike before flowing into the next in fluid movements, so with his next training program set he set his training for eleven hours a day with a one hour break in the middle before four hours mediation before eight hours sleep before waking up an hour before sunrise and repeating for the next two years.
