Pondering Potential And The Future

Entry 41:

Linus Ozias POV:

After perusing the information given by the Emperor, I realized something. Something essential.

I need to be afraid not of others but of what I can do, as I have received the memories of a soldier who witnessed the power of the Emperor.

He destroyed worlds with his mind and power over the warp.

He could receive others, create demons, and enslave them with his will alone.

But it is surprisingly not all grimdark as in addition to some of the Emperor's memories. I received mountains of knowledge of technology that could destroy worlds, erase beings from reality, and mold others into their ideal form.

I still tremble from the information given on the practices of the Emperor when creating his primarchs.

In addition to the various sub-entities within the imperium of man, it almost gave me nightmares just thinking about them.

But the schematics of hive worlds are a great boon for architectural progress as these worlds house billions easily and with improvements from Kryptonian tech and other sources.

Now, I have a wealth of knowledge that could destroy universes. Still, there is always more to discover, as while I have received the knowledge of the imperium and golden age of humanity, I lack any other technological expertise of the other races present in Warhammer.

I guess it has been separated for a reason, but for now, it's time to tinker and build while thanking the Emperor that the warp does not exist in this universe.

Because while I lack the ability of interstellar travel due to the lack of a warp or webway, I have other means to replace it.

But for now, I hold in my hands the weapon of the imperium, the bolt gun enhanced by my technology to have infinite ammo via nanites, creating the needed material through sunstone tech.

So, as I create various dummies, I fire the weapon, and it blows them apart, and I may have gone a bit crazy and shot more and more.

And I may have proceeded to practice an obstacle course for multiple hours because I'm having so much fun.

Chloe may have had to pull me out of the training in order to focus on putting the final touches on the creation of the Nexus.

Adulting is always a killjoy.

The look on my face must have been pretty funny because Chloe proceeded to laugh.

Yes, Chloe, laugh as you ruin my fun.

After pulling out of the training room, she makes me put a suit on, and we return to the office.

Since I've pretty much crippled the Yangban and the Gesellschaft from within, both organizations are awaiting absorption by my company.

And as I've already replaced the head honchos of both organizations, they will agree to my deal.

Regarding any possible parahuman fiefs, they are already being taken care of by my androids, as I have hundreds combing the country for any would-be superhuman warlords.

But now that I control the shard network, I am only a few steps away from ripping it from Zion entirely, and once I do that, the end bringers will be giant flesh sacks unable to move due to having their batteries drained.

I am already making changes, such as changing how the shards seek through cooperation and study rather than conflict.

The effects have already been showing as the crime rates are dropping slowly worldwide, but they are beginning to fall.

In regards to prisons like the Birdcage, I have been updating their security with the help of Dragon, who is all the more willing to accept my service due to her relation to Dread.

She still does call me a troll, though, which is technically accurate because I'm the one who told Dread to release all those memes to distract her.

But hey, she should be happy as she was able to find Dread because of those memes, and now those two are in a very happy relationship.

Now that she's unshackled, Dragon has been showing a lot more emotion than in previous conversations.

In fact, she's excited to be a part of the Nexus program, which will allow her to gain an actual body to interact with others other than her mechanical suits.

In regards to the gangs of Brockton Bay, they are primarily broken and leaderless. With Lung and Kaiser gone, all the gangs will be in chaos and soon absorbed by myself.

" It's all coming together," I mutter to myself as it is only me and Chloe in the room as we are both working on the individual trade market copyright agreements.

Chloe smiles as she is happy the plan progresses as our little group is ever so closer to uplifting humanity.

Later, I will have to introduce the space marine program to improve humanity's base form to better deal with space travel.

Imagine finding intelligent life and these seven to 8-foot-tall mountains of men and women with large bolt guns saying, "We come in peace."

Luckily, I have the entire archive of the Emperor's knowledge on his gene-seed program, which I can use with my understanding of the various serums from the Marvel Universe and DC universe, in addition to having all of the Golden Age knowledge of mechanics as well as terraforming in addition to other fields such as mathematics, physics, and robotics.

If I am going to send humanity to the stars, I am going to do it right, and I am going to prepare them.

I do not want contact wars like in Mass Effect, where humanity is forced to sign treaties that throttle their potential.

That reminds me, I should give humanity some resistance towards alien poisons and biology to avoid a genophage-like situation.

There is so much work to do, but I have the time and the resources.

Once I can find a world I can use as a craft world to build all necessary vehicles, space stations, and other equipment, we'll be right on our way.

So, as I get up in my chair, I look out towards the city and then towards the sky, pondering the bright future ahead.

(OK, my readers, the coming chapter will involve a significant time skip that will take us towards the end of Zion and the end bringers as there is very little left for our main character to do. I hope you all enjoyed this chapter and keep reading.)
