Changing An Ending

(OK, before this chapter begins, I would like to explain how the alternate dimension or New Cadia works. It is essentially an alternate dimension that only my main character, along with his organization and loved ones, can access, and it will grow along with our protagonist as he ventures to more worlds. Regarding security, any creation of my main character is automatically accessed by the organization, as the tinker of fiction will always force his creations to be loyal to him to a fault. Anyone else must be allowed inside.)

Entry 114:

Linus Ozias POV:

I introduce New Cadia to the others, including Rossweisse, who, by the way, grew giant anime eyes as she viewed the multiple Halo rings, and Jibril essentially lives in the library.

Ingvild has taken to the multiple sound stages and various musical and entertainment areas as she combs through civilizations worth of music.

I have transferred the Iscariot main base into the central Halo installation and have ramped up Android production to populate even a percentage of the space.

Bulma and Vomi spent hours just analyzing the various tech and architecture. Bulma literally gave me the sex eyes as I introduced her to all of this, and Vomi bowed before me and thanked me for the opportunity.

I have not seen them since. Regarding Lapis and Lazuli, they have taken to their new quarters swimmingly, while A2 and B2, being the androids they are, have been guarding me.

A2 has gone full maid mode as she even trained with Grayfia to perfect the Dao of Maid, as she calls it. B2 has found a hobby in painting, and her work is excellent as I feel like a proud Dad.

Even the psychic imprint Emperor felt proud of my creations, but he is still miffed about them being Androids.

But as I stand before the Iscariots, I begin a small speech: "My Iscariots, my friends, my family, each one of you has done me proud! Every one of you has held to the tenets of the order even in your new lives, and I thank all of you for it. Your dedication honors me and honors yourselves."

They begin to cheer as I continue, " But our mission, as you all know, is never-ending, and while some may view it as futile, others may view it as foolish, we know the truth! For every world we grant our might and our progress, they prosper, and our name grows! Others view our goals as naive, but we have already begun to prove them wrong!"

The cheers grow louder. " Others believe that a universe must follow order or Chaos, but we know differently! Progress shall define our journey! Progress shall define our existence, and progress shall never end!"

I pause as the Iscariots raise their blades and shields in the various armors and frames. "Our order shall span the universe we find ourselves in and the worlds beyond! Let it grow and prosper so that our order may span millions of worlds! Let Iscariot be revered in every reality, heart, and mind we come across!"

I raise my own blade into the air as the swords glow, lighting up the ring in holy light. As I shout out, "For Iscariot! For The Future Of Humanity!"

"For Iscariot!"

"For The Future!"

"For The Emperor!"

"For The Future Of Humanity!"

The shouts and cheers rouse the organization in a frenzy as I calm them down." I thank each of you for your fervent belief in me and in this organization, and as we travel beyond the stars, always know that you are never alone."

They all bow as I say, "All of you have proven your worth thousands of times over, and now I ask all of you to follow me into the abyss."

One by one, they stand and begin to chant "For The Emperor!" and "For The Savior!"

I smile as I send them all off to return to their posts across the world of DXD and get used to the rings and craft worlds.

"You have done well, my son. Be sure never to repeat my mistakes," I hear as I almost stop. I hear that same voice upon the golden throne. I admit I almost teared up as I simply say, "Thank you @#$#@$$##$#"

The psychic imprint disappears, but not before leaving his knowledge of psyker abilities and ruling, with the former being helpful when I access the immaterial.

I raise my chalice as I say in a solemn tone, "I thank you for your wisdom  and know that your lessons will never be forgotten, my emperor."

I feel the imprint smile as its last vestiges leave my mind as I stand observing the infinite void before me. I now feel the weight of my mission without the Emperor in my mind.

All will know Iscariot and revere us even if they never realize it.

My empire will never fall to Chaos, and I shall end anyone who seeks to do so. But I know I am not alone in this mission.

So, focusing on the feeling once more, I find myself in the office once more. I then see the ROB smiling at me as he pushes another essence towards me and says, " I noticed that the Emperor is gone. My condolences, but know that he always exists even if we don't see him."

I nod and drink the essence as I feel strange in a way as I fall through another portal leading to my side quest.

But as I fall through the dimensions, I find I can understand more and more of the dimensional barriers. So, I analyze them as I fall through the wormhole.

After around what I assume is 1/2 an hour, as time is very much subjective when traveling through dimensions, I find myself in a new location that I immediately recognize.

It's time for some course correction, shall we?

Commander Shepard POV:

" Wake up," I hear a distorted voice say as I open my eyes and stand up.

I really do not want to, as I am in so much pain that even dying can't beat at this moment.

"What? Where am I? I ask, looking around the alien structure.

"The Citadel, It's my home." The child hologram says.

"Who are you? I ask the AI, and it responds, "I am the catalyst."

"I thought the citadel was the catalyst." The hologram shakes its head and states, "The Crucible is a part of me."

I then refocus the conversation as I see the fleets of Turians, Quarians, Geth, Humans, and Krogan fight and die to the Reaper's endless hordes.

"I need to stop the reapers. Can you help me do that?" I ask the AI as it states, "Perhaps I control the reapers. They are my solution."

I then follow the AI, shocked at the revelation that the Crucible was another Reaper trap this whole time, as I ask, "The solution?"

The Ai turns toward me and says, "To Chaos. Without the cycle, synthetics would destroy organics, and as such, we destroy old civilizations to make way for new ones."

It stops and stares at the battle as I ponder my answer: "That is the solution."

I then point to the reapers tearing through the alliance and say, " We are at war with your creations right now!"

The AI says almost in a pitying manner. "So, does one fight fire when it burns? The reapers are not interested in conflict but are simply fulfilling a duty to maintain the balance between organics and synthetics."

My injuries are causing me to black out as I continue, "Then what is the Crucible?" It responds, "It is merely a power source, but it can release an enormous amount of energy for either synthesis or destruction."

I try to think under all this pain as I ask, "What is synthesis and destruction, and why have you not done it already?

The AI looks to the Crucible as it explains, "Synthesis would give rise to a new DNA, a new understanding of synthetics and organics while destruction would destroy all synthetics across the system."

It then points to the power core and says, "If you relieve your corporeal form and join with the Crucible, you shall give rise to an understanding. If you destroy it, Chaos ensues. Make a choice now."

I stand there thinking of everyone and what they may think of what I am about to do. As I pull out my sidearm and aim it, I find a large hand clasping the weapon, and as I feel my consciousness fading, I hear the figure say, "Rest now, shepherd of Man, and know peace upon a new awakening."

I almost smile as I feel safe and close my eyes, hoping to see my crew after all of this.

Linus Ozias POV:

"You should not be here! What are you?!" I look at the child AI as I simply scoff and heal Shepard of his wounds.

"You hold no sway here, computer. Be silent!" I reach through its systems using my aspect of control and shut it down.

I then teleported the healed Shepard to the Normandy as I floated through space, and using my senses, I spanned the whole galaxy and located every single Reaper and every single being turned by their machinery.

I then use my full power, and as I glow brighter and brighter, I snap my fingers while saying, "Let there be light in this dark hour."

*Snap*

And all turned white, and the galaxy stood still.

General POV:

Ask thousands upon thousands died as they battled the Reapers. Many believe the fight to be lost as it seems like their final weapon, the Crucible, had failed them.

But as all hope seemed lost, a bright light spread across the galaxy, disintegrating every single Reaper it touched, and as they tried to flee using the mass relays, all of that technology rejected them.

And in those final moments, those machines near the meaning of fear as they were erased from existence.

Any recordings of the battle would hear garbled audio barely resembling speech as it was simply too advanced or too primal to be recorded.

Yet everyone in space during that battle saw its enormous being made of pure light with wings spanning across the planet, and as it snapped its fingers, all went quiet.

The silence was deafening as the various races looked around for the enemy but found none, and where there used to be the cyber zombies the Reapers created, they found people.

After that day, many will know and record this event as judgment day. Those who believed in the Lord above celebrate this holiday, believing their god had saved them.

And as quickly as the figure appeared, he vanished.

Yet his actions changed the galaxy at large, and whether or not it was for better or worse, who knows?

Shepard POV:

As I open my eyes, I find my crew all waiting at my bedside in the Normandy, and before I can say anything, I am barraged by the crew.

"Enough! I am still healing you guys, and where is the catalyst?" My statement confused them, and Joker responded, "Commander, you just appeared here, and soon after, a large light enveloped everyone, and the reapers were just gone."

Gone truly, I don't believe it.

But before I can say anything, an envelope appears on my lap and simply says, "Live well, Shepard, you deserve it, and also Tali, Best Girl." - From LAO.

All I can think at that moment is, "What is best girl mean?"

Although, without realizing it, my thoughts sent laughter through the sender.

I smile for the first time in a long time and say, "Well, who wants to drink as I need it after what just happened."

All the crew raised their hands while Garus had a sign that said, "You're paying."

(By the way, the new essence will be added to the list after this chapter goes out, and it was the Essence of the Hentai Protagonist.)
