Chapter 68: Information

I changed into the sun dress I had originally came in with and put the red dress back on the hanger. When I came out of the changing room Amira was waiting to take the dress from me. She was still smiling as she said, "I cannot wait to see you tonight in this dress! You will be the talk of the night!". She let out a happy sigh as if imagining it all.

I asked, "So you are coming tonight then too?". Amira responded, "Yes, of course! I could use an excuse to get out of the house and wear something nice for a change". I tried to prod a little further for information, "What are we dressing up for anyway?". She held up her finger and wiggled it back and forth before saying, "No, no, no, you are not getting any information out of me girl! Logan already told me it was a surprise". I had been caught with my hand in the cookie jar... dang it!

Amira linked her arm in mine and headed towards the front door where Logan was already standing. She whispered as we got closer, "All you need to know is that you are going to have a great time!". Her arms went around me in a big hug and she said, "It has been so much fun meeting you and finding you the perfect outfit! Don't be a stranger Little Wolf. And that goes for you too cousin!". She gave him a big bear hug too before messing up his hair and pushing him out the door with me.

As she went to shut the door after us she called out, "You take care of that girl cousin or I'll personally beat your ass". She gave him a mischievous grin before disappearing into the shop. Her words made me laugh while Logan mumbled under his breath about Amira always embarrassing him in front of people. I could see her and I being close friends in the future.

We walked to the truck and Logan put the dresses inside. He turned to look down at me and said, "Do you want to go grab some food before we head back and get ready? We have some time". I nodded yes and he grabbed ahold of my hand. We stayed hand and hand as he led me down the bustling side walk. Logan spoke over the people walking around us as he said, "I know this little pizza joint down here on the corner. It's the best in the city. I think you might like it".

A few minutes later and we were standing in front of another brick building. The smell wafting through the air had me salivating instantly. The food smelled amazing! My stomach let out a growl or maybe that was my wolf it was so loud.

Logan opened the door and I went inside. He followed right after me.
