Day 1

Arriving at the room's door, I cracked a small gapping into the classroom to see if I could spot any students. Maybe Amora was pulling my leg, or I could silently sneak into the classroom without being too noticed. Yet to my dumb luck, Amora hadn't pulled a prank on me.

The teacher's gaze automatically locked unto mine as if he had noticed me from the beginning. His finger drummed impatiently against the book that laid at the desk, which he stood nearby. A guilty smile over took my features as I revealed myself to the class fully. Way to make a complete fool out of myself...I strained not to mutter those words. A pair of nearby women whispered as I redirected myself to the seats laying in the far backend. No doubt their whispers were related to me.

Crashing down into my chair, my head wearily thumped unto the desk in defeat. The classroom's students' attention fell elsewhere as silence eroded the atmosphere again.

A few moments slipped by as my awkwardness faded. My eyes were trained unto the lesson and the teacher's heavily laced accent. Though, my attention was lost when the heavy metal door abruptly swung to an opening. In came a familiar hazel eyes and black hair women with the familiar man following suit. Our professor dragged his breath our loudly. He situated the chalk down with a audible thumb.

The man's arm wrapped around the women's neck with a grim expression.

"Thank you for the interruption," our professor addressed the pair bristly, and then his attention slide unto the remaining students, "From now on, if you are even five minutes late to my class...those doors will be locked!"

The women's eyes grew dim as she attempted an apology. An apology which the professor would not bother to hear. "You two may take your seats," he dismissed them with a flicker of his hand. What are the odds she'd be in this class? I couldn't help but wonder. My eyes were trained on the professor but my focus laid on the pair who sought seats two rows below me.

She's so stunning. I fiddled in my seat becoming self conscious of the fact I had now been fixated unto her appearance. Maybe I was luckily I hadn't been born with her beauty if I was bound to staring this much...

I would have been lying if apart of me hadn't been also intrigued by her. Did I really just think that? What am I a creep now or something? I don't even know her!

A pit of disgust and discomfort swayed into my stomach. My head swayed in silence as if to rid myself of my wondering thoughts. I forced my uninterrupted attention unto today's math lecture.

The lectures came to a final closing. My eyes strained to get a glimpse of the area surrounding me as I departed from one of the building's doors to the outside. I had been more tired coming out of my lectures than beginning with all the notes we had taken. Not to mention this morning had taken a considerable toll on me.

I peaked down to my cellphone, pressing my thumb over the screen. There were five bright green labeled messages from Amora yet nothing from my certain boyfriend. Maybe if Josh had been keeping to his promises like a boyfriend was supposed to...my morning wouldn't have been far so shitty.

I popped open the text messages from Amora.

Amora: Hey

Amora: How was class? 0.0

Amora: Has that boyfriend apologized yet?

Amora: Sccccaarrrrlet

Amora: Look up

Confused by the her most recent text message, I sought out my surroundings. A 5'4 foot women came swaying down to directly in front of me, with phone in hand, and a beaming smile displayed upon her lips.

"How can you be so happy," I sighed wearily as a smile attempted to cross my lips.

Amora's curved shoulders prompted themselves upwards, then released into a shrug. Our arms linked with another as she guided us down the campus walk way with a stride. "How can you be so not?" she teased me with a playful frown.

"You know," I spoke with a cheerier tone, "I could've been stranded without a ride, right?"

Amora laughed as she smiled widely.

"Yeah I know."

My mouth gaped as I jokingly pressed on her shoulder to offset her balance. She wavered to the side when our arms unlinked. "You are such a jerk," I exclaimed back at her with a teasing serious tone.

Her shoulder rose once more in a shrug. "Maybe you should get a car then," she countered.

"Well..." I sighed, feeling defeated, "maybe you're right on that one."
