Prologue

Mya watched in awe as the sun seemed to descend behind the trees. She looked at her mother. "why dwes twe sky cwange cwlor?" She asked in a soft voice, eyes still transfixed on the beautiful orange and purple sky. "Because the sun is leaving." Her mother replied gently. Mya could smell the food roasting on the campfire. "Is twat meat?" she asked. Meat was a rare treat to her. Mya could smell the spices mingling with the delicious smell of the rich meat. Her mother nodded. "Happy birthday sweetie," Her mother replied. Suddenly, they heard a rustle in the bushes. Mya turned to the source of the noise. Then more rustles. Mya's parents got out their weapons, ready to use them at any moment. The, at least 5 people in navy blue and gold/white suits rushed out of the bushes. And they were all holding guns. They yelled a lot. They said words like 'license' and 'illegal' and then Mya heard her parents tell her to run, and she heard gunshots. So she ran, ran and never looked back.
