Synopsis

In a time long ago the Gods grew bored and came up with a way to entertain themselves together. They trapped a civilisation in a pocket dimension and raised the people there to believe and worship them, wage holy wars in their name and so on. This accursed project was dubbed 'Project T'. Alas, like any other form of entertainment, the gods grew bored of it and left it unsupervised allowing the civilisation to develop on their own pace free from the Gods' influence. While this world was developing, an event that originated from the after-effects of 'Project T' on the young gods, would bring a baby God that came from a powerful bloodline to this world. Follow this unknowing God on his path of self-discovery. Will he be able to find out where he came from? What he is? Will he be able to embrace divinity? /// A/N: Hi everyone I am WritingBrain. Chapter 1Prologue 1

"Stop, this is madness. You can not do this.", a beautiful woman pleaded. She had purple eyes and long dark-blond hair. She was dressed with a long palatial dress "Hmph, I can and I will. This is the only way. I am aware of the risks but this is something I have to do", a handsome middle-aged man said, with a determined voice. Anyone, listening to his words and seeing his face would undoubtedly say he was very confident in his plan.

"How long have we been together, dear?", the woman asked out of nowhere. "A long time, why do you ask?", the man asked while he forced out a stiff smile. "Yes, a very long time, on top of that I saw you grow up too, so stop with your pretences and drop the confident attitude, I know what you are feeling. Just give me the truth already.", she spat while crossing her arms with an impatient attitude. "Sigh, As expected of my lovely wife, there is no fooling you…"

Yes, I have no idea if this is going to work, but it is the only way. We have to try something. For all we know, they already figured it out and are on their way as we speak.", the man explained in resigned tone. "Look, Kronos, if you dare to try and redirect my attention to something different one more time, you will feel my wrath. So I will ask one more time. What is your plan, the truth this time.", the woman demanded while a vein was about to pop on her forehead. "What I said was the truth.", Kronos said while shrugging. "Kronos, yo-" "Just listen to me, please. It is the truth, I do not know if this will work and I do not know if I can entrust him to my divinity… But it is the only way. Please just believe in me and more importantly, your son, Rhea. No harm will come to him unless my divinity crumbles and I fade away.", Kronos said with a determined voice. This time even his wife was forced to accept his ruling. She had never seen her husband so resolved. It is almost as if this was a clever play of fate where this was supposed to happen.

"Promise me, you will be okay.", she asked in a soft voice, her anger slightly abated. While she looked away with a tint of red appearing on her cheeks. "Will my lovely wife miss me if I were to pass away?" Kronos asked with a playful smile, while looking at his wife. POP "WHO WILL MISS YOU?", Rhea screamed while storming to Kronos to give him a good old smack. If this was a cartoon, there would be smoke coming out of her ears by now. Her face was red, but it was unclear if it was anger or embarrassment that was causing it. While the two often had squabbles like this, they loved each other dearly. They understood each other perfectly. Of course, this is something that was to be expected after spending an eternity together.

"Haha, I'm joking, I'm joking. No need to hit *ouch* me, hey *ouch*, okay, okay enough already" Kronos jokingly said while blocking some of his wife's hits. "Rhea, I promise I'll be fine, don't worry.", A wry smile appeared on his face before he quickly wiped it off his face and looked away as if to hide his true emotions. When she heard his words she stopped hitting him and turned around with a grunt while saying "Good, you better. The palace will feel empty without your big ugly face walking around." Kronos looked at her with an amused smile and was about to make the mistake most husbands make: engaging in the 'word battle' "Is that so? Look at you being all cu--", Sadly before he got the chance their love quarrel got interrupted by the sound of a big explosion.

[Lord Kronos, We are under attack!], a voice rang in Kronos's head. [Already? This was much sooner than expected.. Buy me some time.] Kronos calmly said while looking at his wife with a saddened look. 'it seems our time is limited dear...' Kronos thought. Even with the knowledge that this was bound to happen eventually, it happened too fast. 'It's almost as if they- no, no time for speculation, I need to make haste.', Kronos disposed of his unnecessary thoughts while quickly getting his priorities straight. "Rhea... It is time… Go get Aziel and meet me at the oracle, my divine power is strongest there."

Rhea looked at Kronos and immediately sensed the seriousness in his voice. So she stopped playing around and hesitated, but before she could voice her complaints again she heard a soft whisper: "Rhea, please trust me." Rhea obviously heard him and continued studying his face, looking for any signs that she might be able to use to steer Kronos of his decision. Realizing she couldn't find anything and understanding there was no time, she reminded herself how far Kronos was willing to go for Aziel and the risks he would take in doing so. She respected her husband in many ways. And the love Kronos had for his children was one of them. So in the end she couldn't do anything more and gave him a quick nod while teleporting away. Kronos smiled and swore he heard her whisper "I trust you, husband" before she disappeared.

''They breached the perimeter, retreat to the inner sect! How dare they attack us, do they have any idea who lives here?'', a general screamed. "General, why are we being attacked so suddenly?", a soldier asked. Like most soldiers defending the outer wall, he got scared out of his mind a few minutes ago. What should have been a peaceful night, ended up being a night worthy of being called a nightmare. Sure, he trained hard everyday to get hired as an elite in the mighty legion from the House of Time. But never did he expect his loyalty would get tested only a month after passing the rigorous tests to become part of them. On top of that, the enemy that was attacking… weren't they a little too powerful?

'Why am I so unlucky? Gods, give me strength.', he thought while looking at the general with an expectant look. "How would I know, brother? Stop asking stupid questions and get to the inner sect! Seal off the doors and sound the alarm! We need to inform the rest of our brothers and sisters in the inner sect so that they can prepare. The rest of us will hold them off as long as we can.", the mighty general proclaimed, for decades on end he defended the sect and trained the house's personal army on Kronos's behalf. He was one of the stronger men in the army and even got the divine blessing from his lord, his God, Kronos.

Unfortunately, The divine power Kronos wields is one of the hardest powers to comprehend and utilize. Even after all these years he only had basic mastery over his divine power. "General, no, you should come wi-" "MOVE YOUR FEET SOLDIER, WE DON'T HAVE TIME!" the general desperately yelled. 'Sigh, is this how it all ends… Even if the lad manages to sound the alarm, the chances of us besting the big three are small. I hope you have a plan Lord Kronos, the general thought while barking more commands to his underlings while steeling his resolve to defend against the upcoming army for as long as he could.

He closed his eyes, filtered out the painful cries of his brothers and sisters in the army and drew his sword. The sword was made from a special material that could be used to guide his magic in a way that would not only amplify but guide his blessing. He took a stance and mumbled "I, Adrien von Riest, hereby call for my God's blessing. Please, give me the strength to protect my allies." His call was heard and the emblem on his right shoulder pad began to glow. The emblem signified his ties to Kronos and was the highest form of respect a soldier could get. It was so special, only one person could have it at a time. He could still remember when he received this honor and let his mind drift to that faithful day.
