36 Good morning wifey!

He drove silently back to the mansion. When they arrived at the porch, he turned the engine off but did not make a move to alight from the car.

Looking beside him, he found her sleeping!

'Wifey I know I'm a great driver, but should you sleep on me all the time?'

She looks so cute sleeping though. Not having the heart to wake her up, he carried her upstairs.

'Ha! You like sleeping on me? Sleep with me then!'

He gently laid her down and removed her shoes, she must have been really tired today. She sleeps like a baby! He tucked her in before he went to his side of the bed.

Alex just watched her face, unsure what time was it when he succumb to sleep.

In the morning, Lara had to blink several times, even rubbed her eyes, before she believed what she is seeing.

At first she thought she's dreaming, but the beat of her heart is so loud and the warm arms cuddling her can't be unreal!

'What am I doing here?!?'

She tried her best to get out of bed gently as not to wake him up. But she can't even get out of his hug.

Alex felt Lara moving and he hugged her tighter.

'Hmmn, this is the best morning ever!'

"'Morning wifey." As he bury his face to the crook of her neck.

Lara froze. He's awake! Craaaaaap!

"Why did I slept here?" She asked him.

"Would you prefer the car? But the servants might think something else if they find us there."

'Huh? What would they--whaaat?!' As it dawned on her what he was pertaining to. Her cheeks suddenly felt hot.

Not hearing an answer from her, Alex squinted at her from her neck.

"Why are you blushing so early?" He teased.

Aaaaaaah! Lara's screaming inside her head. "Let go now I need to check Luke."

"Baby's gonna be fine. He's got a nanny." His hold not loosening one bit.

"Don't you have work?" She reminded him.

"Mmmn, but next week you'll be busy. And you still want to clean your house. Then you also have Luke."

"So?"

"So? I won't get as much time with you as we are now."

"Alex!" She reprimand him. Was that what he was sulking for last night?

Suddenly he toppled over her which rendered her speechless! The covers is not that thick enough. She can feel his warmth, and then there's something else.

He felt it too, and something else passed in his eyes.

"Quit complaining."

The arrogance of this devil! Really!

But her thoughts haven't even finished when his face inched closer to her. She closed her eyes and covered her face in embarassment!

Alex narrowed his eyes then he tickled her sides.

"Whaaa--Alex no!" She tried to dodge those evil hands but she is supressed under him!

Her laughter filled the room as her eyes get watery.

"No more please--" She begged.

Satisfied he hugged her again then turned over taking her with him.

"Stay like this for awhile." He held her head in his chest.

The woman he married has the same face, but he clearly remembered that morning when he woke up beside Crystal. He was so angry he wanted to slap her face for what she did! Only he doesn't hit women.

While the woman in his arms now, had given him a peaceful night sleep, and a morning that's brighter than the sun. He doesn't want to get up but thinking of the amount of work waiting for him today and the dinner they have to attend tonight, he reluctantly let her go.

But not before giving her a morning kiss and a slap on her butt! It made Lara jump from the bed in a heartbeat.

"I'll fetch you tonight wife." Laughing as she ran out of the room as fast as she could.
