Finding Lara

Lara has just wrapped up her day. Working as an assistant for a new celebrity in the company. Ah she is tired. Nobody told her she will be assigned to a total b*tch this time. Before she was assigned to a singer and though tiring at times, at least that singer is human.

She waited for a cab. Its not easy to catch one on this side as this place is mostly frequented by the rich. Damn that b*tch for wanting a take out from one of the restaurants here then calling her later she don't want it anymore. Oh well, Lara herself doesn't have a choice. Unless she follow the steps of this celebrity she is assigned to and sleep her way up.

Hmmmn, Luke would love these dumplings. They never ever eaten something from this pricey restaurants. Personally she thinks that the dumplings from the old Chinese restaurant near their house is still the best. But this doesn't happen everyday.

If only a cab will come by.

30 minutes passed by...

Lara started to walk. She has to go home. She promised Luke. Thinking of her son make each day for her bearable. Luke is her only family. Her parents passed away right after she graduated high school, it was a car accident. Her parents have left her a little savings and since she is an only child, it would have been enough for her to continue to study in the University, she just perhaps need a part time job. But Luke came.

She never regret having Luke. He's four years old now. And poor as they may be, they get by. Life is hard, but nobody said it was easy. Atleast she gets kisses and cuddles each time she comes home.

As she walk lost in her own thoughts she didn't notice the black car that stopped right before her. And the man in the passenger seat looking flabbergasted seeing her. After the initial shock the man's eyes dimmed and he get out of the car and approached her.

"Miss! Come with me!" The man grabbed her wrist and dragged her to the car.

Shocked and scared Lara tried to free herself from the grip of the stranger.

"Help--"

But he covered her mouth with his big hand and pushed her at the back of the car and told the driver to get going.

Lara stared at the guy before her. She tried to get as far away from him as possible, but where to go? They are only in a car. She watched the man dialled something on his phone.

The other line connected in two rings.

"Boss, we found her" said the man who captured Lara.

"Bring her in." And the line was cut.

The man looked at her. She can see anger and frustration. But it doesn't look like the man is going to hurt her. Boss? Who was he that he called. Lara racked her brains but she don't recall offending anyone. Not even that celebrity she is assigned to. Who are these people?

Even the driver is decently dressed. They don't smell too. They don't look like gangsters, and she doesn't owe money to anybody too. Her phone rang.

"Mommy?"

Panic rosed in Lara's heart upon hearing her son. She nervously look at the man beside her at the backseat but he doesn't seem to care about the phone call.

"Baby" she forced not to cry.

"Mommy where are you? Aren't you coming to get me from Auntie Jenny tonight? Did that girl asked you to stay again?" Lara almost smiled to the seriousness on the tone of her son. But remembering her situation she swallowed hard.

"Yes baby she did. I'm sorry can you tell your Auntie Jenny that I'll be late again tonight?"

"But I miss you mommy" she can almost see her son's pouting.

"I'll be home soon baby"

The man smirked on her reply. Her heart pounded so hard she can almost hear it. She hung up the call and look where are they going. That's when she noticed they are almost out of the city. She closed her eyes tight then opened them again. She has to see where these people are taking her.

They entered a very exclusive area. She doesn't know what this area is called but judging from the tight security at the gate this isn't an ordinary area. She only saw one massive house so far and they didn't stop there.

Her head is full of panic and she is dizzy with nervousness but still she fight the urge to faint. Atleast the stranger didn't drugged or hurt her. He even let her answer her phone call.

The car stopped in front of a majestic villa. The guy went out of the car and held the door open for her. She doesn't want to get out. The place might be very beautiful but Lara is so scared she cannot move. Why am I here? Who are these people? What do they want from me?

She closed her eyes. This can't be real. Only a bad dream. Nothing more. She didn't notice another man approached the car and entered the backseat.

"Crystal" the man called her and Lara opened her eyes to see a very beautiful man before her, looking at her angrily.

This man wore a black suit and definitely the most handsome man she had ever seen despite of her working in the entertainment industry. And right now he looks as angry as a pissed devil at her.

Lara fainted.
