Claude almost pulled the trigger at the man's words.

Camellius is dead? There is no way. That wasn't part of the plan!

"He's one of them, Claude," Ian murmured, drawing his sword.

"No! No, I'm not!" the doctor pleaded and desperately clung to Claude's legs. "I was here to treat a patient! Then I saw a woman lying dead and ran—"

The doctor couldn't finish his sentence as Ian's blade mercilessly drove through his hand. He screamed, rolling on the ground. Claude kicked him aside and jumped onto the boat.

The city watch shone a large light upon the vessel, and those hiding in the shadows jumped overboard; most were children who were too young to commit any kind of crime.

Claude made his way inside, eyes ablaze in fury.

Camellius is not dead. I won't allow it.
