Irife has always looked everyday of any sign of enemies or her old man but to no avail. She thought it was for the best. Staying at Viole's place for the past few days prove to be of help.
Every morning Viole always brings them to his extended dimension. There he teaches Charles basics things and how to use his new found powers.
Every day they come home with Charles beaten black and blue.
Irife watched as Charles got thrown out again from the circle Viole had made to serve as their makeshift ring. While he was all bruised and covered with scars, blood splattered on the ground, Viole on the mean time was enjoying the moment.
Whatever Charles did that night of their encounter with the enemies he couldn't bring up the same enthusiasm that he performed. He couldn't counter Viole at all. To his frustration Viole always lands the first punch. Irife thought that maybe at the night when Charles awakened his powers was because he knew subconsciously who and what they were up against. He did say he was moving on pure instinct, and it was the difference as of today. He was forcing to pull that power out of him because he needed to learn to use it at will, but there was no serious threat to his life and she and Viole saw it as a complication.
What was the point of doing it every day when she knew Viole already realized the problem?
Charles needed to understand what he is as a Reaper first.
Irife knew Viole was contemplating on doing something but still couldn't decide on what to do exactly, he was still too conscious of the situation.
Her old man had said to her, Viole might look like an easy guy but he was deeply scarred. Some things are a serious matter to him; he was not a man who doesn't think first before deciding on doing something. He had lived to be patient for the past few years, she find him capable as someone who can lean in to.
It was that night when Viole told them of his plans. Charles needed to come to see it with his own eyes.
Irife offered to come too but Viole excluded her on his plan. He said he needed someone who can easily outpace the enemy and doesn't lag him behind. Things she knew she wasn't capable of doing together with a Reaper, so Viole asked her instead to set her eyes out to serve as their look out for any signs of enemies.
Her eyes were one of her abilities. It cannot be seen by anyone unless she shows it to them. She plans to place one on each of them instead, and a hearing for Viole to hear her early warnings. They both needed to be together since she can only let them carry these three with them on the distance that Viole plans to go. Her power doesn't serve to be helpful if she was too far away from it, it can simply disappear if lost.
Viole talked to her first about the setting of his plan. He had said to her that he wants to Charles to see him when he performs his duty tonight because Charles knew he was a Reaper in words only but he didn't know his responsibilities.
Viole also told her that he thought Charles was of different lineage because of the way he had awakened, but it serves to be his main problem. Charles couldn't summon up the power she had witnessed on that night and that Viole wanted so badly to see.
If Charles may really be someone who can very well be the same as that Reapers Viole once encountered, then he needed to make sure he helps Charles grows his power not just to be able to fight them off but to be the first to have Charles mind set on avoiding becoming one of those crazy bastards, before they can manipulate Charles themselves.
