THE IMPOSSIBLE TASK
After burning the three useless fools,the big boss had calmed down a little. The feeling of wielding his old power felt nice. Even though he was far from a hundred percent, he still liked the feeling the power cursing through his veins gave him. Earlier, before he had killed the other protectors, he had tried to make them tell him where his wings and the other half of his soul were. They had refused and Zeus had even gone as far as spitting on his face. Well,he wouldn't be pulling that stunt anymore now. All the same the big boss had been annoyed greatly. Even after he had promised them imprisonment instead of death, they had still refused to show him where his other halves were. He had huffed,and puffed and...well, he had just killed them.
Later he stormed the castle alone and turned the place upside down. Every corner had been searched. Every inch of the walls had been probed but he still found nothing. In great anger he had lifted a small sculpture of zeus that was propped on a stone pillar and smashed it to bits on the floor. After destroying the sculpture, he had decided to continue with the stone pillar but his eyes fell on the middle of the pillar which looked to have been cut and fitted. The big boss was sure that if he pressed the center,it would drop into the pillar.. Initially,the stone sculpture had covered it but now it was free for everyone to see. The big boss had pressed the square shaped thingy and immediately the floor started rumbling.
The big boss had been so happy, if any of his associates had been near him he would have hugged them in joy.he could already feel his other halves under the slowly opening floor. Today seemed to be his luckiest day. That happiness had been short-lived when he had entered the secret chamber. His wings were there all right and boy were they happy to see him. The pair of wings had quickly attached themselves to his back the moment he undid the enchantments placed on the container holding them and shattered the thing to smithereens.
After freeing his wings,he had gone on to look for his most valuable possession. His lost soul. But search as he might, he turned up with nothing. His anger then had been great. He destroyed the whole underground chamber and all it's locked possessions. Later he had gone up to call a meeting to discuss search groups who would go out and search for his other half. Of course he wasn't going to tell them what they were looking for. He had already decided to forbid them from going near his soul if they found it. They were to only search, observe and report back to him if they found it. Going to the meeting hall,he had no intention of punishing anyone but the sight of those weak fools grumbling about his sitting choice had even infuriated him the more and he had ended up burning them to nothing. Now the other's were looking at him fearfully and he was really enjoying the looks on their faces.
"I called you hear to discuss two things. The first one being the protector you let escape." Hades said in his normal tone that was still frightening none the lest. Anytime he spoke like this, his voice changed tone many times mid speech and was quite slow. One moment his voice would be smooth like a woman's, the next second it will fluctuate, sounding very manly and deep. Then the very next second it will turn ice cold and calm. Anyone listening to him speak would find it difficult to judge his real emotions or intentions, and this was the voice he was using right now. It was safe to say that the generals in the wooden chairs were legit peeing their pants at this point. Some were even praying to the protectors they had helped kill.
"Your incompetence,as annoying as it is in task completion has saved your lives today.", The big boss said with a glance at the still shivering wooden seaters. "Looks like I'll need that protector after all. He knows the whereabouts of something very valuable to me. I want him Infront of me as soon as possible. Find him, and bring him to me." The big boss ordered. "Yes your majesty", all the dark generals instantly answered. "The second reason why I called you here is linked to the first one. I want a team of generals and a small squad each to start searching all the realms for my valuable item. By all realms,I mean every single one of them. When you do find any trace of my item or any other item that looks suspicious, I want you to report directly to me. You are forbidden from going near my item. Anybody who disobeys will feel my utmost wrath. I don't know nor do I care how you're going to go about this task but I want it seen to. Quickly. You're free to leave my sight.", The big boss dismissed them immediately after he finished his speech. "The generals were shocked but knew better than to continue sitting when the boss had openly dismissed them. They immediately stood up from their seats and bowed before turning to leave the hall.
On their way out of the hall, all the generals had only one question on their minds. Just what was so important that the big boss would give them such an impossible task as searching every corner of all the realms. The realms were as big as earth, if not even bigger. With their own continents and such. Most of these realms were unoccupied since not all of them favored life, and a few here or there had some pretty strange plant and animal life on them. All the same,the fact still remained that these realms were huge and could take months or even years to search them and there were thousands of them. Some of the generals were already starting to regret escaping through that portal the big boss had opened for them the night he freed them. Limbo was hell but it wasn't impossible to survive.they were beginning to wish they had stayed there instead of coming out. But alas,it was already too late. They now belonged to the big boss and he would use them anyhow he pleased.
