50 50. Stand off.

"A god or goddess of harvest?" Rose asks before looking over various papers for familia.

Currently I was at the guild looking for some specific gods or goddesses, I am hoping a goddess of harvest would be able to sell me seeds as my land is fertile in the kingdom but barren, I have no animals, and no plants. But i plan to change that.

I don't feel like being a king of a dirt kingdom.

"Demeter is probably the goddess you should ask about seeds and other plants. Her familia focuses on agriculture." Rose suggests. "Why you need seeds however is beyond me."

"Where is the Demeter familia located?" I ask pulling out a small map from my pouch I had just in case.

She circles the area on the map.

"Thank you." I tell her before heading off to handle my business.

However I'm interrupted by someone I hadn't chatted with in a while.

"Ryan, I haven't seen you in a while." I turn to see Syr looking at me with a smile.

"Hello Syr, indeed it's been a few days. How are you?" I ask the gray haired woman.

"I am good, and yourself?" She smiles and asks.

"Prettt good, things are going well." I tell her.

"Do you have time to stop and eat or are you busy?" She asks.

"Eh, I'm not too particularly busy with anything I suppose I can have some breakfast." We head inside where I order the large breakfast platter again.

"The food here is always delicious." I compliment.

"Thank you. I'm glad you enjoy it." Syr says happily. "You should come and eat here more often if you enjoy it."

"I would but usually I'm too busy to eat and just spend most of the day working on things." I admit. There was a noise from the door as more customers came in to eat.

Seems however that these were ones I knew.

"Ryan!" a brown blur appeared kn front of me with sparkly eyes. Appears some of the Loki familia had come out to eat.

"Good morning Tiona." I didn't really have a problem with the amazoness, she was relatively happy and just liked to listen to stories.

"You seem stronger than before?" Tiona mentions with that extremely acute adventurer danger sense.

"I have been working hard in the dungeon the past few days." I tell her with a friendly smile.

"You know the Loki familia?" Syr asks from the side knowing who Tiona was.

"Yes, however I had a small dispute with their goddess a couple of days ago. Honestly my dislike for God's and Goddesses seems to be growing with the more of them I meet." I frown as I answer.

"Loki isn't that bad." Tiona offers with a small frown.

Shaking my head. "They are supposed to be the leaders of their family, if they choose to manipulate those under them by choice, then I can only see them as scum. From all the gods and goddesses I've met so far all but 2 have left me with a terrible impression of the whole species as nothing but glorified children who do what they want. If they don't get what they want or are questioned then they throw tantrums exactly like children."

"You know I'm right here brat, if you have something to say you can say it to my face." Loki says appearing at the table with a frown.

A smile spreads across my face as the restuarant goes quiet. "Ah I don't have anything to say but general thoughts, I believe if you take advantage of your children or manipulate those in need of help. You are one of the lowest form of scum on this planet, just in general, but if you happen to fit in the category that I've described then I guess you would know best? But then again that could just be your divinity acting up right? Honestly I pity you all if it has that much control over what you do."

"You seem to be under the impression just because you are part of my sisters familia that you are untouchable and can say what you wish." Loki says as her eyes open to glare at me.

I glare right back. "You seem to be offended by something i said? Is it because you truly identify as scum I mentioned?"

"Bete!"

"Knights!"

Everything rapidly becomes tense as the 13 knights appear combat ready around me. Seems there is a standoff in the establishment as the Loki familia looks warily at the 13 newcomers. Danger ringing their senses.

"Let me tell you a little something Loki, each one of these knights can cast the exact same magic I can. I wonder how much damage they could do if they unleashed the best they had, even I'm scared to see what it could do." I tell the red head who is now on guard. She had been informed had Bete not dodged that terrifying magic before he most likely would have been seriously injured or killed. "You want to make a threat against me? You wish to make a move? Become my enemy? Grow the fuck up. You have a problem with me? Then do what the other gods or goddesses do and declare a war game. Now are we finished here? My breakfast is getting cold. Actually why am I even asking you, we are finished here."

I sit continue to eat my breakfast and enjoy my orange juice under the glare of Loki. "You know I actually like most of your familia. They seem like good people which I why I think even worse of you." I point out while cutting into my pancakes.

The only sound in the establishment is the sound of my silverware clinking as I eat my breakfast. Soon however the rest of the familia seems to arrive and look at the situation in stunned confusion.

I finish up my meal and take out a rather sizable tip. "Thank you for the meal Syr it was delicious. Nice seeing you again." i tell the gray haired woman. "It was also good to see you again Tiona you are more than welcome at the house and I'll tell you stories."

My knights form up and I give a nod to the rest of the familia before heading off to do my business for the day.
