2 Feng Longming

Sandwiched between two tall, black haired men was a blonde with multiple piercings. He had on the iconic heavy makeup of a visual kei singer on his scowling visage.

It was clear he'd rather be anywhere but here.

"Long time no see, Longming," she smiled thinly at the singer who averted his eyes. And indeed it had been a long time. Almost three months she was hospitalized, yet he never showed up until now.

"En," he lightly grunted awkwardly when Bai Qian didn't continue her words.

"Of what do I owe this sudden visit?" Bai Qian asked after she nodded, full of satisfaction at his awkwardness.

"You should be grateful I even come to visit you," he snorted arrogantly. "The house is a mess, the rent is unpaid. What have you been doing?! I have half the mind to abandon you!"

Bai Qian delicately raised an eyebrow. "Well, I have been hospitalized, as you can see," she lightly gestured at herself as if mocking him.

He flushed, but immediately snorted in anger. "For months? Truly, a spoiled princess. Abandoning your duty for even a shred of pity. You shouldn't make mountains out of molehill, this makes you more pathetic rather than pitiful!"

Bai Qian blinked.

Tang Guo who was steadily standing next to Bai Qian's bed gritted her teeth and was about to open her mouth when Bai Qian glanced at her in warning.

Closing her mouth with a grim frown, Tang Guo decides to glare at Feng Longming in dissatisfaction.

"Pardon me, but I seem to not understand what you are talking about," Bai Qian replied in cold tone.

Unaware of the change of tone, Feng Longming harrumphed and stared mockingly, "Hospitalized for months because of some bruises and scratches, I never knew you were this spoiled."

Bai Qian stared at the man before turning to her pair of legs hidden under the blanket. Is he unaware of things? Underestimating them? Or just plain doesn't understand?

Tang Guo apparently had heard enough. "I'm sorry, young master Feng," she called his name in distaste, "I don't think being attacked by overly fanatical fans and being ran over equals to 'some bruises and scratches' only."

"What ran over? The car only sped next to her and the wind made her fall," Feng Longming retorted in a mocking tone. "You should be relieved that none of the fans got hurt. If they did and this affected my reputation...," he left the rest unsaid as a hanging threat while glaring at Bai Qian.

But truthfully, Bai Qian could only see a boy throwing tantrum for not getting what he wanted.

"You-!" Tang Guo raised her voice.

"Ah Guo," Bai Qian softly reminded her and Tang Guo backed down reluctantly. She silently relayed to Tang Guo that she could handle this. Meanwhile, Feng Longming smirked self-importantly towards Tang Guo.

"Anyway," Feng Longming called out again, folding his hands on his chest arrogantly. "Tidy up the house and pay the rent. Next time I come back, I want things orderly. Oh, and I will be inviting the crew for a house party in celebration of my new song, so make sure you get things in order too."

"Feng Longming," Bai Qian sighed exasperatedly. "I think that you are overestimating your personal value too much here."

Feng Longming wasn't the only one to widen their eyes at her response.

"W-what do you mean! Are you talking back to me, now?!"

Bai Qian quirked an eyebrow mockingly. "Feng Longming, I was a fool, I admit that. I thought that if I fulfill your requests and give you the things you wanted, you would look at me and realize your mistakes. Apparently, I was also overestimating your ability to think," she said with a wry smile.

"Ah?"

"I have seen enough. Feng Longming, I have supported you thus far, I am not evil enough to demand for you to repay back what I have given to you. That apartment is yours, I shall arrange the papers to change it to your name, don't worry. As for the rent, I shall pay it until this month only, for the future, please work hard on your own," Bai Qian explained with a sweet smile as if she didn't just declared that she was abandoning Feng Longming.

"You... Bai Qian, maybe you need to calm down and think things over," Feng Longming choked out carefully after a few seconds of silence.

Humph, trying to sweet talk her now wouldn't change anything!

"I think I am already very generous with you," replied Bai Qian calmly, "I have rehabilitation scheduled today, so I'm sorry I can't see you out."

"Bai Qian!"

"Mr. Feng," one of the tall black haired man spoke up for the first time. "I shall see you out."

"You-!" Feng Longming seemingly attempted to charged at Bai Qian directly, but the man immediately stepped in between them, blocking the way.

"Mr. Feng, please," the man gestured at the door.

Feng Longming glared one last time before he turned around and marched out of the room.

"Hua'er, monitor him," the other man who had stayed silent spoke up.

"No need to go that far," stopped Bai Qian. The two men frowned in dissatisfaction. "Ye Hua, Ye Qiu, I mean it."

"Yes, young miss."

"...yes, miss."

Reluctantly, the two brothers agreed.

Bai Qian sighed and scrutinized the two brothers. Ever since she woke up, she hadn't seen them much. It was only Tang Guo that was constantly by her side. The brothers, on the other hand, were guarding and doing errands outside so Tang Guo didn't have to leave her.

"Also, young miss," Ye Qiu called out softly as he took out his phone. "I received message from Young Master Mingluan that he will come visit today."

"En, understood," Bai Qian nodded.

Bai Mingluan was her older brother by five years. Their relationship could not be said good nor was it bad. It was lukewarm at best.

Because of the age gap, and especially since he was a male, Bai Mingluan had a hard time understanding his little sister. It came to the point that he slightly resented this spoiled little sister of his.

However, the fact still remained that they were siblings, and as the older one, Bai Mingluan felt it was partially his duty to ensure Bai Qian's well being.

Thus, the weekly visit.

So far, the longest he was away was the two weeks when he had a business trip.

It could be said that even though he didn't have the best feelings for this little sister, he still did his duty as an older brother throughly.

"Ah Guo, prepare Gege's coffee as usual," Bai Qian instructed, "You don't have to come with me to the rehabilitation today. Ye Qiu will be coming with me."

"Yes, young miss," Tang Guo nodded and went to prepare hot water.

Ye Hua excused himself back to his post outside the room while Ye Qiu went to get Bai Qian's crutches.

Once the room was vacated, Bai Qian sighed and leabed back on her pillow.

With Feng Longming issue taken care of, now she needed to think of how to repair the broken relationship between her and her family.

"Good grief," Bai Qian sighed, "How could I be such a fool..."
