when he heard the system announcer he begin to calm down and was able to understand that he was still in his dream but he felt it was too real to be a dream. "well screw it if it's just a dream I'll wake up eventually." He wasn't too worried about it since everybody wakes up from dreaming, so he decided to try out the status menu the thing said.

Of course he was not able to understand how to open it but after thinking back on it he realize that the first menu he saw could be scrolled down just by saying "scroll down."

' okay by that kind of logic I should be able to open it by saying show status screen ' he decided to stand up and realized he was wearing a robe similar to the sun goddess.

"these look nice, somewhat comfortable too but tight around the waist.... Okay enough farting around let's get this done show status screen." with that he heard {Ding,} and new screen appeared

when the screen appeared it made him feel like it was more of a game then a dream. But Jo was rolling with the punches trying not to consider it.

"collect special rewards" deciding to just collect the reward before anything felt right since he practically had nothing to else to do other than walk around.

With that a small object fell out of the sky in front of Jo scaring the living crap out of him and caused him to nearly jump out of his skin for the second time. "Jesus Christ if that droped any closer it would have hit me on the head what the hell is with this. Wasn't it supposed to spawn in front of me or at least off to the side. Not right on top of my head."

Even though it scared him half to death. he wanted to at least check out what he got. bending down to see what it was. It turned out to be some kind of orb made from transparent material. "What a crystal ball almost hit me on the head, man good thing it missed, but come on seriously I probably should get something better than some fortune-telling ball."

even though he wasn't exactly happy he decided to reach out and grab it anyways. It was a bit heavy but he managed to pick it up and look at it when a new screen popped up.

{Ding, host has acquired a civilization core, civilization core are used to make a Hamlet or better known as a tiny village and the birthplace of every known civilization. Would host like to use it and found his owns Hamlet and his own potential civilization.}

"are you serious what the hell is this." Joe could not understand as he read. civilization core sounds like some kind of game mechanic.

"no I do not want to found my own civilization at least not here." Joe wasn't a dummy or at least understood a lot about civilizations especially very early civilizations most every world power begins near some sort of broke or water source surrounded or are located near a Forest and then has access to Stone as well as metal deposits and or has a good defending position.

"what the. Why I'm I thinking so innately about this it's just a dream I'm going to wake up from this and once I wake up I'm never coming back. so it's a one-time deal." although Jo kept saying it was a dream he felt that something about it was off.

"Fine since it's a dream I'll do a good job the first time." Joe was just feeling off about this whole deal, but he decided to try to find someplace suitable to use this thing and see whatever it did.

he started walking around and fortunately could hear signs of a river and decided to walk towards it and was met with a bank situated on a nice River. he than decide to walk up the river to get near its source and about a couple of hours of walking he was met with a open meadow with a Hill situated next to a mountain. he decided to put the core on top of the hill so that it had a defensive position and was near the river for a source of water and food and it was close to a mountain for a good source of stone and mineral deposits. mountains are also good shields from one side as attacking forces have to go over it or around it to got to the settlement.

"hmmmy my luck seems to be really good this seems to be an optimal position to place it. hills are optimal places of defense and the River is good for food, and water ways can be used as a good travel route, the mountain is good for resources and is almost an absolute defense on one side not to mention forests surrounding the whole place." Jo decided to place the core here since It had a lot of advantages.

but once he manage to get on top of the hill he was almost out of breath. "Man I am really out of shape it seems. Now let's try this thing out."

he pulled out the orb that he was holding in his hand the whole journey although it wasn't heavy it wasn't light either. "Okay I choose the top of this hill to be where I found my Hamlet." the moment he said those words the orb began to glow.

{Ding, is host sure about this decision.}"FOR the love of YES I DO."

{Ding, acknowledging host decision placing civilization heart. recommend host check status screen of Hamlet once it is done.}

"Of course that would also have a status screen... Okay but seriously now what's going on" before his very eyes the orb began to glow and then spin right off his hands and hovered over the ground then moments afterwards the ground began to move on its own creating a campfire circle. four lights flew from the orb and began to shimmer then grow and soon began to transform into a humanoid shape the light than faded and after only mere moments appearing before him were four human figures three men and one woman.

"Okay cool light show... But what the hell. who are you people." Jo knew that this was a dream but his gut kept telling him something was really off and now right in front of him were four people that appear to be from ancient Japan. Dressed in very old traditional robes similar to his own.

One of the men first bending down on one knee bowing before speaking. "great Majesty forgive us if we have upset you for we do not know what we have done but please let us know so we can improve."

The man next to him which appear to be some sort of scholar or adviser of some kind spoke next. "get up your fool you're embarrassing us in front of his great Majesty as his Majesty is not upset with our behavior rather his majesty is yet to realize what is going on like a baby born into the new world unknown of who is father and mother are."

next the woman spoke seemingly frustrated from the scholarly men. "You couldn't speak of our great Majesty in such a way especially right in front of him for he will lead us to prosper and thrive under his greatness."

"pardon me for my rudeness but did any of us include you in our conversation besides the great sun goddess spoke to us directly remember. Before we even entered this world that way we'll understand that this young Majesty here is more naive and needs to be educated about things. Even before us he still believes it to be a mere dream I can see it in his eyes."

the fourth and last person yet to speak steps forward and puts his hand between the scholarly man and the woman. "Enough both of you. Both of your behavior needs to stop first impressions are everything and young master has just met us we need to set a good image as we will be working together with him to build up a prosperous clan and hopefully a country." The woman and the scholarly man stared at each other before looking away.

the fourth man walked up and bent his knee like the first then said "Sorry for our improper behavior my name is Ohba Susumu a general of the ancient Yamato clan. sent by the sun goddess to aid Young master.

the scholarly man bent his knee next. "I'm yone joben Chief advisor at the ancient Yamato clan or at least once was. I have come here sent by the sun goddess to aid Young master."

the woman went after the scholarly man and bend her knees and bowed saying "I'm takabe shoen medicine Master of the ancient Yamato clan. Sent by the sun goddess to aid young master."

the first one to have bent his knee and the last one to introduce himself spoke. " I'm satake shintaro the ancient Yamato's clans construction overseer. use me however you wish if you wish me to improve something need only ask."

Jo was standing with his mouth wide open unable to just comprehend the level of WTF. "See I told you he's unable to comprehend what is right in front of him, so let's not wait on him. satake get us some basic shelters going we'll need it for the night. Youe we need some food you'll be put on hunting duty. and as for you takabe scout out the area for some herbs see if we can find any with healing properties in case of monsters attack will need something simple at the very least. I'll stay here with young Majesty doing some basic education." the scholar made his declaration and the other two men knotted and walk off but the woman stayed behind giving a questioning look the scholar.

"I don't mean anything from this. I know you're eager to help the young Majesty but he can't cope let alone giving out simple orders when I am done he should be fine to lead us." when the woman heard this from the scholar she let out a sign and walked off.

"okay now some action is being done. Let's focus on you from the dumb expression on your face you don't even know a clue on what's going on." the scholar walked up to Jo and pinched his cheeks.

"ow ow ow" Jo pulled back from the grip of the scholar. " What was that for. man that hurt." Joe was rubbing his cheeks trying to ease the pain.

"letting you know that this is not a dream, for pain is are body's way of saying something is wrong and our minds receive it by try to get rid of it that's why if you pinch yourself in a dream you usually wake up as your mind believes it's in trouble." The scholar said with a teasing face.

" that doesn't mean it didn't hurt."Jo was still rubbing his cheeks. which were now red. "so if I were to believe you, then this really isn't a dream."

"now you're putting the pieces together." The scholar behind his back. "but if that is the case then I have been isekaied. ( A.N it means he's been transported to another world like in an isekai anime.) but if that is the case - oh no what am I going to do. I have so much de- what I don't have to worry about that anymore." Jo nearly panicked there for a second.

"boy I'm going to have to work so much with you. ahamm yes you've been transported to another world but no you have not." the scoular tried to put a hand out but was interrupted "wait a second that makes no sense either I am in another world or I am n-" SLAP.

"interrupting your teacher is disrespectful and rude besides I was trying to explain that your soul is here in this world with a new body but your original body is in your world still and you can still go to it and you can live out your normal life in your world. But whenever you fall asleep in your original body you'll enter this body in this world simple enough." The scholar said.

"okay okay enough slapping enough mystic stuff just give it to me straight am I really dead and isekaied that way or has some God decided to say well let's just throw them here." Jo's mind was about to break. Everything he knew about physics, science, and everything is being throne out a window if he were to accept what the man in front of him was trying to explain he would be completely lost.

SLAP.SLAP.SLAP.SLAP "by my ancestors you're really are as dense as a basket of Rock. don't let everything you know about the universe be thrown out the window but everything you do know is not everything about the universe there's much to it that you don't understand and your whole civilization so from doesn't even know." the scholar was slapping Joe around.

Jo ran of trying to escape the scholars beatings but the scholar ran after him. "please stop the unnecessary beating we can talk it out."

" talk it out I would not be beating you if we could talk it out. because it seems like you needed some sense beaten into you anyways." the scholar keep chasing after him and if he could he would smack him if he was in range.

this continued for a short while until Joe ran out of breath and tripped. "by the heavens if this is who is going to be leading us, then you're going to need some major education." The scholar grab Joe by the collar and dragged him over to the campfire circle.

"Okay first thing to know is that you're no longer in your world you are in the mystic world this world is not like your own or mostly is but has added elements the sun goddess told me a briefing so I do not know everything but I'll tell you what I do know." Jo was grasping for breath while laying on the ground. The scholar was standing next to him making sure he was paying attention.

"second this world is filled with magical energy you can call it whatever you want Mana , magica, spirit energy, qi, chakra, whatever you decide to call it. It's all around us and can be use to gain strength and as a fuel to manipulate reality but it's infinite but yet finite for its infinite in the environment around us as more of a thin blanket covering everything flowing everywhere barely having an effect on anyting that's why you guys in your world can't detected it as your planet right now is experiencing a sort of magic drought so your sensors can't detect it. but it's finite as our bodies or an object can condense it making it more dense than the environment around it but once that excess energy is gone it has as much energy as the environment around it making it seem finite."the scholar was explaining.

"wait a second or planet has discovered all kinds of elementary particles why isn't this on the list." Jo was trying to explain but the scholar bent down and grabbed his ear.

"that's because your planet has an incomplete set of elementary particles." let's scholar pulled on Jo's ear trying to explain.

"ow ow. okay I got it. stop pulling on my ear."

"With that basic out of the way the reason why you're here as well as practically everybody on your planet is because the gods of your planet found out that your planet is about to enter a period we're spiritual energy is going to be abundant like that of 5000 year's ago however civilization is very advanced and relies heavily on technology now that spiritual energy shall be abundant there's going to be a bit of chaos. so they decided to work together to bridge to this world that way people can get used to using spiritual energy and learn how to innovate it into their daily lives in a world driven by pure technology." the scholar had a very serious face explaining this.

"Now with that major info dump out of the way I can assist you with anything you need." scholar walked over to the floating orb and asked "would you want to know about the civilization core that is the basic strength of our new home."

" Sure why not." jo was still laying on the ground not knowing to laugh or cry as all this just came so suddenly he was just trying to sit back and let it soak in.

"okay young Majesty, the civilization core is a special core meant to give magical properties to a settlement the effects are pretty much the same no matter the settlement but the higher the grade of the core the more effects it gives. As for the reach of the cores effects that depend on how large the settlements becomes it's pretty much the larger the settlement the bigger the reached. Of course you don't need a core to create a settlement but it is very helpful to any settlement. if you want to check out the stats of the settlement you pretty much know how to open it."

"that's great. anything else I need to know." Jo was beginning to set up and stand.

" like can you tell me how to get back home." Jo patted the dirt from his robe.

"of course your majesty simply open your status screen and say exit mystic world your soul will be transferred back to your original body and you will wake up but be careful I've been informed there's a Time dilation I do not know to the extent of the dilation but don't be disoriented from it." the scholar bowed after answering.

"okay then status screen" {Ding,} "exit mystic world." with that Joe's current body went limp and fell on the ground the scholar walked over picked him up walked him over to a cleared area put him down and sat next to him waiting for his return.
