10 years later.

"Harley!" She called out to her brother.

Harley suddenly popped out in front of her. Startled, she dropped a glass of water she was holding in preparing for dinner.

"Harley!!" She said pissed off. "How many times do I have to tell you, do not use that skill of yours in our house?!! Huh??!!"

Harley broke a sweat. "Yes, I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Gesturing his hands to defend himself.

"Clean that mess, you little devil." Lesley pointed to the broken glass.

"Ahhh you're such a bore sis. You will never get a boyfriend." He remark as he clean the mess with his magic.

"Harley! I think you don't need dinner tonight, right?" Lesley is pointing to Harley's bedroom. "Go to sleep now."

With an awkward smile on his face. "I'm joking, I'm joking sis. You are the best girl sis. Okay?"

"Dinner's ready." They sat down and eat. "I'll be going out. tonight. I'll be back before you go to magic academy to make breakfast."

"Job?" Harley asked.

She nodded.

"You don't have to keep doing it. We're safe now." Harley said becoming serious.

She finishes her food, stood up and grab her rifle. She patted Harley's head. "I know what I'm doing. I'll protect you."

She head out.

"She really needs to forget about the past." Harley said shaking his head.

Lesley arrived at her rendezvous point and set up her rifle. "Sniper's ready, give me a target." She said to the man at the other line of her communication device in her ear.

"Standby." The man replied from the other line.

"Understood." She replied and lean against the wall.

10 years ago.

"Come on Harley! We still need to run further." She said as she keeps on pulling her brother to run.

"Sis, we've run far enough. I don't think that kid will be able to follow us." Young Harley said as he catches his breath.

"No. Let's not be so sure----" She looked back as she hear footsteps towards them. Her eyes widen to see the kid walking slowly towards them.

The kid stops in his steps when a communication device with him started making sounds. "Yes Master they are dead." The assassin kid stared at the siblings. "Yes, I'll come back at once." He turned his back to the siblings and motioned to walk away.

Young Lesley called out. "Wait! Why didn't you kill us? Why did you tell him we're dead."

The assassin kid looked back. In the blink of an eye, the assassin kid was behind her and knocked out her brother.

Feeling raged for her brother. "What the hell did you do to him?!" She shouted as he tries to land a hit on the kid.

The assassin kid threw a blade towards her left eye that made her crouch in pain. With his back facing her he talked. "That kid is only knocked out. I did not kill you because I don't feel like doing so. But--" He looked back at her with a frightening look. "I am a kid made assassin by my master. I am a killer."

Lesley is holding her pain and tries to look back at him.

"In the future, if we able to see again each other in the Land of Dawn, let's kill each other. Me, as I failed to kill a target, and you probably to avenge your parents." He slowly walked through the shadows.

"My name is ------. Do not forget it. Let's kill each other." He disappeared afterwards.

Lesley opened her eyes. Somehow she drifted off to sleep while waiting for orders.

"Yo! You awake now?" A man's voice said and reaches towards her a can of drink.

She looked up. "Gusion." She reach the can of drink. "You are not on this mission." She motioned herself to her rifle to check the target's area.

He scratch his head. "Well, your supposed to be partner for tonight quit, because he said you're hard to get along with."

"Hmm. I don't need someone that will held me down." Lesley replied.

"That's harsh." Awkward laugh of Gusion. "You seem to be dreaming earlier." He leans against a wall.

"Just a dream of the past." Lesley replied.

"A painful one?" He asked curiously.

Lesley stared at him for a moment and sighed. "Want to know why I became an assassin?"
