7 Music and Booze

William's POV_

This is not my plan for the whole Saturday.

I'm now sitting with my colleagues and some high school friends, drinking like there's no other day. It's so noisy and all I can hear is their complaints about life and so on.

I just want to go home.

"William let's drink more! You seem so quiet." Peter, my high school friend, and a lawyer insisted for me to attend this gathering. He doesn't usually drink, but recently, he's getting addicted to it.

"I'm fine. Don't mind me."

The usual answer. I don't want to ask them about their problem, I have my own and I'm already stressing about it.

Perhaps I should go home now. But I'll look like a jerk if I do that.

Few more minutes then I'm gone.

I breathe an enormous sigh of defeat as I'm struggling with myself if I should go home or not. It's like someone is holding me down on my chair.

I close my eyes and let the music consume me. I'm not a fan of rock music but now it makes me feel so relax. The deafening sounds and the smell of booze are now trying to put me to sleep.

"Hello guys!"

Until I hear her voice, once again.

As I opened my eyes, I saw her, my ex-girlfriend, standing next to a guy I didn't know who.
