11 Confrontation

William's POV

I don't know what I did but now I'm standing in front of her. I know I'm already stupid enough to even show my face to her after she rejected me. I keep on wondering why do I still care now that she has someone.

Is it the pain or my pride? She recently rejected me and now she will marry someone else? Why so sudden? Did he propose to her too? Why did she accept it easily? Does she know the guy?

A lot of questions I need answers. Did she have to rub it on my face? That I'm not enough?

"H-Hi, William." Why she is even shocked seeing me here?

The guy behind her irritates me more. He might know who am. I saw his hands move to her shoulder and smirks at me.

"Honey, who is he?" He innocently asked her. And I can see the panic in her eyes. Also, some of her friends are looking at her, worried. But I'm still aware that I won't make a scene whatever I'm feeling right now.

Actually I don't know what to say, or maybe I know. Should I ask her?

Did you cheat on me?

Why I can't even open my mouth or even move my hands to punch this guy.

"Do you know him? Another classmate of yours or what?" He looks at me like he's about to pick a fight. But I'm cool. I just want to know the truth, and I know it will end in a ruckus.

And I'm ready.

"Vera-"

When suddenly, someone holds my arm, making me look at her.

"Baby, why did you leave me behind? I'm lonely." A woman wearing a red dress with long hair, looking up at me. "What? What do you mean? Who-" I can't help but asked her because I didn't know her.

Vera on the other hand suddenly stands up and looking annoyed at me. I'm shocked seeing her reaction to this.

"So, you must be the ex?" the woman looks at Vera and continued to talk. What is she doing, talking as if she knows me or my past? "Nice to meet you. Thank you for dumping him, coz I found a rare diamond, you know." The woman smiles triumphantly and Vera on the other hand is so pissed.

"William, who is she? Is she your-?" Vera asked.

"Of course! I'm his girlfriend. Vera, right?" The woman beside me holds my hand. "My name is Venus." She smiled so brightly to Vera.

I can say that this woman is trying to save me from any embarrassment, so I guess I'll deal with her later.

I put my right arm at her shoulder. I got to act perfectly and save myself.

Aphrodite's POV

"My name is Venus." I smiled so much and I thought I'm showing my whole teeth to them. I'm so glad I arrived on time. Or this stupid guy will be in much danger or embarrassment. I know something bad will happen to him once he confronts this woman.

Well, I knew she's cheating. Because despite what I write about her love life plan, she chooses not to follow all of it. Humans can be so stupid when they are not contented with the good things they got. I feel sorry about this guy. I should prepare good stuff for him in the future.

I'm surprised when I felt his hand on my shoulder. Did he get my plan then? Good.

"Yes, Vera. She's my girlfriend."

Looking up to him, I can see much how affected he is. How sad his eyes look. He really likes this girl. Somehow I feel responsible for this. I did make him fall for her, somehow.

"I-I can't believe you got a new girlfriend so early, William! I didn't expect this!" the woman suddenly raised her voice. To think that her fiancé is there, what does she want now?

"What are you saying? Aren't you engaged to him? Did you even think it's so early?" This guy won't stop either. It's so obvious what he meant. I wanted to drag him outside.

Mr. Fiancée stood up. Holding her waist. "Babe, what's the problem? Is he the jerk ex-boyfriend you were talking about?" What the hell? He called him jerk?

The woman on the other hand finally pulled down to her real world and looks shocked when she looks at his fiancée. "I-it's nothing babe. It's fine."

And it looks like the other guy won't back down. I look at William only to realized he's not backing down either, should I used my power to drag him away? But no, it will catch too much attention.

"Baby, shouldn't we go now? I want to eat something." I insisted on going out now. First; because I hate the smell of this awful place. Second; I really hate my dress right now. And third; I'm really getting irritated with all these humans. Please make up your mind and let's go.

"I don't know what you are up to, marrying someone so early. But you should think about it more seriously. He will be with you forever, for the rest of your life. You need to be sure about your feelings." William is obviously still concern about his ex-girlfriend. Too hard to even look at his serious face now.

"Let's go." He said to me, and I just nodded. This person, he must be so much into her.

As we walk away, Vera suddenly shout. "You only say that because I easily declined your marriage proposal, right? You can't accept the fact that I said no to you. Admit it, you're still in love with me."

William stops walking, but he never looks back. And I'm behind pissed right now, so I look back at them. "I'm sorry Vera, but we didn't understand what you are saying. Maybe some other time?" I smiled at her so brightly, that even the other guys inside that place swoon over me. Yeah, goddess of love here.

After I successfully irritating Vera, we continued walking.

Now the question is, what will be his reaction?
