"W-Why, i already lost someone, so why ?! Can't you get a normal work, i just want to live happily and want our child to grow up with a father, please, no, don't."

At the end of her sentence, she began to shake as she remember her trauma but this time it wasn't Garen but Lucian that died. She cried even more.

Lucian heart's broke when he saw her like, he quickly came hug while trying to calm her.

"Don't worry, I will become stro-no, I will become the strongest so that like that I won't die, I promise you."

He then pick her up like a princess and came to their room, he put her on the bed and hug her tighter while caressing her head slowly.

"I can't, moreover *sob* I won't see you for a long time *sob*."

"Don't worry, if I become the strongest, no one will stop me if I want to come and see you. You are the most important thing in my life with my child ok ? Even if I have to kill the entire world for just you, me and our kid to survive, I'll do it gladly. I love you a lot Lilia. And you know what ? Even if i have to kill every member of the Exploration Corps, I'll move you and Shawn there, so that when we return from mission, i can see you quickly."

"W-what if i come with you to the military ? I can follow you ! When i was at the hospital, i made several friend and some of them were babysitters, we can pay them to take care of Shawn, i also want revenge Lucian !"

"NO ! I WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO DO THAT !" Yelled Lucian from the bottom of his heart.

Lilia was shocked by Lucian outburst, he was taller than he now, so the him now make her fear him a little bit as she step back hesitantly and gently.

Realizing he scare her off, Lucian apologized but then began to think of the idea. If she was with him, he can look for her easily and protect her easily if he's the strongest. For his son, it was not a problem, when he integrate the Exploration Corps, and threaten a little bit some influential person, everything should be good, however...

Lucian hugged her whispered.

"I'll accept, however if your talent is not good enough then you wait until you can come into the Corps HQ ok ?"

Lilia was overjoyed upon hearing the news but she quickly calmed herself down and nodded.

Seeing this, Lucian nodded to himself and kissed her forehead.

1 Year Later, Lucian was finally legally 12 while in fact from his body, you could mistake him as a 15 years old. Lilia could have engaged in the military but they decided to wait until they could go together. Shawn grow up quite a lot too, although he still don't talk, it can walk and it was walking toward his daddy while Lilia was at the doorstep.

After a while.

They just quit the house where Lilia's friend was and after giving Shawn and money to her, the friend out of good hearts agreed. Of course Lucian still threaten her that should anything happen to Shawn, she'll be dead, she quickly understood the warning.

At a Training camp.

After a long road, they finally arrived at the training camp and began to change in one of the basic military uniform ( link in comment ), and finally the 'welcoming' ceremony was beginning, after forming row and column, everybody did the most basic thing they were taught which was the military salute. The right hand on the heart, the left hand at the back. Instructor Keith, the ancient commander of the Exploration Corps began to inspect each and every recruit, while ignoring some. Lucian began to remark people like Eren, Mikasa and Armin. Mikasa became even more pretty after all those years but she was nothing compared Lilia.

Lucian also noticed that the people Instructor Keith ignore all seem to have a sharp look as if they say the most horrible thing in the world, the Titan. Although Lucian seemed to have a relaxed look, a veteran can easily tell he was always on his guard and was eyeing everybody to see if anyone was a threat. But when he saw Keith going to Lilia, he almost lost it, she saw everything he saw but was still a bit hesitant.

And so, Lucian directed his sharp eyes onto Keith to tell him to not even touch a single hair of Lilia.

Quickly sensing the gaze and gazing back, Keith shivered sensing this gaze, it was the gaze of someone who not only saw Titan but also kill people. In fact, Lucian did kill people who were eyeing Lilia, like the doctor.

Like that, Keith understood he want him to not touch the woman in front of him or else, he's dead meat.

He then found a young man who seem to be normal except for one detail.

"Next you there! Who the hell are you?!"

"I"m Connie Springer from Ragako, in Wall Rose's Souther District, sir!"

However his salute was wrong, his left hand was on his front side while the right was on his back. Keith's gaze darkened.

"Listen up, Connie Springer! This was one of the first things you were taught: that salute means you're offering your heart to your king! Is your heart in your right side, shithead ?!"

However something interrupted him.

*Crunch*

There she was, a woman with a pony tail, eating a potato while looking around curiously.
