1 Talent test

In the Sky Fire city a handsome youth was feeling bad and wished to hide in a hole

The reason was because a bucket of paint was thrown right towards him making his clothes look as white as his silver hair.

His name was Feng Yue Long and he was a paria because he was born with silver hair and predatory sharp red eyes like the blood that made you think you looked at an alligator and the most dangerous kind at that. Today was the day in which the kids would have they're talent assigned. Normally one would have his talent evaluated at birth or at the moment it had a year on the last week of the first summer month. The reason was because some needed a stronger body to resist the low backlash of the talent testing stone.

The government still followed the proclamation of the empire from thousand of years ago to perform the test free-of-charge as long as the baby didn't exceed the age of three years so, even if the kid was born aster the test period you still had 3 chances even if the body was too weak. If the body was still weak than you had to wait till you were six years old and perform with the other six years old at the beginning of the summer and pay three thousand silver coins.

Feng Yue Long was in the latter sitiation because for who knows what reasons his family always picked the worst situations to leave and take him with them thus missing the free period and had to pay.

And because of tsituthoseations he was considered as a bringer of bad luck and became the target of ridicule for the city with the exception of his family and some mature enough individuals.

Feng Yue Long was dirty thanks to the paint and he didn't even had time to go to chabge since he was close to the Hall of Wonders, the place were business were conducted and were the teens who missed the free period came to test they're talent and because Long was still dirty from paint he stood out.

The children were tested one by one with a majority of third grade talent, two second grade upper talents and four fourth grade low tier talents, 5 fourth grade middle tiers and one fourth grade high talent, a fifth grade middle talent and a sixth grade talent. Then followed a girl with athird grade high tier wind attribute talent, a fourth grade talent high tier ice attribute girl and the and a young man with a fifth grade middle tier fire attribute talent.

Arrogance was written on the faces of the youths from the third grade talent till the youth with the sixth grade talent but that was more true for the ones with an attribute.

What a shame that only those with a backing would have it easier while cultivating, exclaimed the ones from the poor families and thise with low grade talents even though the government would gove them resources on a monthly-basis, even those w

The results were registered and the examiner nodded, those few were talents with a promising future ahead of them. The results would be later sent to the academies so the examiners would know onto whom to keep an eye. The period to go to attend the entrance practice is in the last month of summer and it officially starts during the fofteenth day and depending on the situation it would take from a day to the last day of the month.

The following youths couldn't cultivate because they had blocked meridians and fortunately were quite a lot of methods to unblock them. It finally came Yue Drake turn to be assigned since cough - he was the last one.

When he came the examiner saw that he looked to have been hit by a bucket of paint and in place of giving him a look of disdain he pitied him but the others who would see this official record would imediately judge him as someone who can only bring about shame. Everyone knew that they were either recorded of they were in direct so, they refrained from insulting others but some youths were not concerned.

When one tests his talent the stone would display an image that shows a phenomenon or a landscape the more life-like the higher your talent would be and the more intense the feeling is the higher the tier of the talent. For example if one has fire affinity the image of a sea of fire would be displayed and if it was metal than it would've been a display of imposing chunks of metals, an ancient forest if it was wood attribute and so on.
