17 Chapter 17: Fierceness = Cute

After causing his opponents to lose balance, Kence grabbed the stacks of paper on his office desk and threw them at the enemies

Tens of papers were flung in the air lowering the visibility of the men in black and Kence took this chance to fire his gun again

However, he only managed to fire two more bullets before he "needed" to reload ammunition to his gun

Fortunately, in the scene, Kence bought himself enough time and some of his men arrives at the assassination scene

The bodyguards brandished their guns and a rain of bullets came flying towards the assassins killing all of them in the process

Kence came out from the cover of his desk and showed an indifferent expression although in this scene there were supposed to be dead bodies inside his office

"Take that woman away and interrogate her" Kence gave out his order and one of the actors in this scene is his best friend - Rhash

Rhash's role in this movie was Kence's right-hand man that he trained from a young age

Rhash was holding a fake knife in his hand and licked his lips giving him a sadistic vibe that contradicts his facial features

"Consider it done, boss!" Rhash answered and motioned for the other men to drag the terrified woman away

"Cut!" The director said with a voice filled with excitement. The performance of Kence greatly satisfies him although he still hasn't forgiven him for his tardiness

The first scene was done splendidly but Kence still remained in the office while the others exited it

One take is naturally not enough. The first one is typically a continuous flow of the scene but the ones next to it are done to capture more details and emphasis

Luckily, Kence has two more years of experience with him and he managed to show perfect acting performance despite the scenes being cut one by one

Since Kence was late, it was already past lunch when the shooting ended and he was given a break to eat

But there were still scenes later that he needs to do since he didn't show up yesterday

Kence heads back to his dressing room with Rhash tailing behind him. This friend of his likes sticking close to him and they are almost inseparable. But since Kence is already used to this, he just let him be

When Kence finally arrives at his dressing room, he was surprised by the abundant food inside

There was a long table that is filled with all sorts of expensive-looking foods including desserts. Kence also saw a few cups of iced chocolate causing him to blink his eyes repeatedly

"What happened here?" Kence asked the crew inside that were salivating with the sight of so much food

"Some men delivered these foods and earlier and told us that you should check your phone" one of the crew answered and Kence went to grab his phone

Although Kence already suspected it he still gritted his teeth when he saw the text message from none other than Calter Sternix

"Be good and eat your meals properly" That was the message that Kence got and he was not able to stop his heart from palpitating

"That bastard" Kence cursed. Does Calter know how much these small gestures can heavily affect his heart that simply won't listen to his brain? Calter must have been doing this on purpose!

The crew that heard Kence's curse were shocked. Of all the years they are working under Kence, there were only a few times that they heard him say such crude words (since he is always holding back)

Just what happened for him to be this enraged?

The curious Rhash walks to Kence's side while keeping his mask intact. "What is it?" Rhash asked before taking a peek in Kence's phone and let out an "Ohh" sound

Kence took a deep breath to calm his heart before giving out an order

"Take all of these and share it with the others. Don't leave anything behind" Kence said. There is surely no way to return these but he also doesn't want to eat foods from Calter. The best thing he can do is to not waste them and give them to others while ignoring the sender. Even if Kence ask Calter to stop sending foods again, based on that bastard's personality, he would surely do it over and over again

The crew originally wants to leave some for Kence but he just convinced them to take all the food away. Although he was tempted, he still doesn't want to eat these foods

Thus, Kence can only miserably watch as the delicious looking foods were taken away

"Are you sure that you'll give even the iced chocolate?" Rhash asked doubtfully. To his knowledge, Kence loves drinking that and he was weak against it. "Heh ... I know you will regret it later" Rhash continued to tease Kence causing the latter to stare daggers at him

"Catch up to them and ask if you can have one then give it to me" Rhash actually wants to bully him like this? Hmph! Dream on!

"W-what? That won't fit my image!" Rhash cried out but Kence starts staring at him menacingly

"The only option is obeying me!" Kence said arrogantly and Rhash almost cried on the spot

"T-that's bullying!" Rhash almost shouted but the stare that Kence is giving him was so scary and he can only obey

With his tail tuck between his legs, Rhash walked out dejectedly to get his master's favorite drink

Since Kence is alone in the dressing room, he grabs his phone and decided to block Calter before placing it on top of the desk again as he sat in a chair

However, it was not even a whole minute before the screen of his phone lit up

Kence looked at his phone and found out that he received another message. When he read it, he can't help but grit his teeth for the second time

"Why did you block me?"

Even without asking for the person's identity, Kence still knows that this message came from Calter that is using another number

Is this bastard monitoring his phone 24/7? It still wasn't even just a minute after Kence blocks him!

In anger, Kence typed aggressively in his phone and sent his reply

"Because you are annoying" Kence placed his phone on the desk again just to receive another text message only after a few seconds

"You are the only person that will say that to me"

With the status that he has, who would have the courage to say that Calter is annoying? Only people that are unafraid of death will do that. Calter doesn't mean anything about his words and only stated a fact but Kence sense arrogance in those words by himself

"Try coming down from your pedestal"

On the other side, Calter creased his forehead in confusion. He was merely amazed that Kence is the only one that can say such words to him, why is his man's reply like this?

Calter wants to clarify things but he still remembered that no matter how disappointed he is with Kence, he still needs his lover to come back to him

With a cheesiness that Calter doesn't know he has, he replied. "I'll only come down if you will be there waiting for me"

Kence's blinked his eyes repeatedly. When did Calter become such a flirt?

"I'll rather go to hell than wait for you" Kence replied harshly hoping that Calter will give up but he was disappointed as he receives another reply

"That's also good. I'll accompany you wherever you want"

Kence almost died from cringe as goosebumps appeared in his body. This .... is this really the Calter that he knows? Where are these cringy lines coming from?

If Kence is like this, even more so for Calter. He didn't expect that a day will come wherein he will send texts like this. It's just that he was so desperate in wanting to talk with Kence and he can only do this

If Calter replied like he usually does, he is afraid that he won't receive a reply. The only way to keep Kence replying is to anger him a bit but not too much

If Kence was truly angered by him, he would surely not reply no matter how many messages Calter sends. But if it's just to this extent, he will be able to distract Kence

"Accompany my ass!" Kence replied but the malicious brain of Calter suddenly remembered something and it filled his mind with several dirty thoughts

Calter looked around him to see if anyone saw the indecent expression on his face and he sighed in relief as he was alone

"If that's what you want, then I'll gladly do that"

Question marks appeared on Kence's face as he doesn't understand what Calter meant by that and curiosity took over him

"The fuck you talking about?" Kence replied back aggressively and Calter can only swallow his shame

"You asked me to accompany your ass"

Kence was confused by Calter's reply for the second time before his vision locked in one of his previous messages

This bastard .... just like what Kence thought, Calter is really such a lecherous man. Kence already saw it multiple times in the past and he is seeing it again today

Kence typed furiously in his keyboard again and replied with a "Fuck off!"

On the other side, Calter combed his hair upwards at seeing Kence's reply. His man's aggressiveness really knows no bounce. The side of Calter's lips unconsciously curled upwards giving his stoic face a more human-like expression

Calter is always emotionless to most people and only Kence can make him react like a normal human being

"Hah... I really love this man. Even this fierceness of his is something I find cute"
